Overview

Our goal is to provide you with the most enjoyable charter yacht experience possible. We are based in Zadar, immediately across from the city's historic center. In just a few minutes, you'll be in the heart of the old town. At the charter base, you will be greeted by a German-speaking crew who has finished their training in Germany and is fluent in the language. From the moment you make a reservation until the time you check-in and check-out, we will treat you like family. You can also book a one-way charter flight from us to Trogir. We can arrange a return transfer for you, or you can fly home from Split Airport. With our high-quality charter catamarans and equipment, excellent service, and over 25 years of yacht rental experience, you can plan your long-awaited charter trip in style. We made the decision to solely offer sailing catamarans more than a decade ago.

Our catamarans not only provide far more living space on board than a sailing yacht, but they are also more easier to operate than comparable catamarans with normal propellers, thanks to special propellers known as Max Propellers in technical language.

Our catamarans are designed to give you the most fun even when sailing, so all ships are equipped with a roll genaker. When there is minimal wind, the roll genaker is employed as a second genoa, and you are always on the move with the roll genaker. The roll genaker is rolled in like a genoa at the end of the sailing excursion. The skipper is assisted by an electric winch when setting the sails and during maneuvers so that the skipper or helmsman can handle the catamaran alone. Because you don't have to brake while sailing, the Max Propellers provide more speed while removing the noise and vibration associated with standard propellers. When operating under engine, the Max Propellers also allow the engines to attain hull speed at a considerably lower speed, which minimizes engine noise and usage. Once in port, maneuvering is significantly easier because the propellers provide the same amount of power in both directions and are effective even at low speeds. There's no need to press the accelerator. We're buying catamarans from reputable shipyards. For decades, they have been building huge, high-quality cruising catamarans that meet the highest equipment, navigation, comfort, and operation criteria.

The start and end hours of the tour can be discussed and adjusted.

Zadar is a city located in the Adriatic Sea's heart

Zadar, located in the Adriatic Sea, is the administrative, political, cultural, and scientific center of northern Dalmatia, with a population of approximately 75,000 people. Because Zadar is a very easily accessible destination (by land, sea, or air) and well connected with all major cities in Croatia, as well as having a variety of marinas with large capacity and good service, an increasing number of people choose this city and its surroundings as a destination for sailing.

One of the main reasons that many boaters choose this area is the beautiful Zadar archipelago, which has over 300 islands, both large and small. There are three nearby nature parks: Telascica, North Velebit, and Vransko Lake, as well as five national parks: Paklenica, Plitvice, Krka, Velebit, and Kornati. Zadar was a Roman colony in the middle of the second century, the center of the Byzantine province of Dalmatia in the seventh century, and it was conquered by Crusaders and Venetians in the thirteenth century. The city was taken over by Austrians at the beginning of the nineteenth century. During this time, Zadar was connected by road to a number of major cities (Vienna and Zadar). Zadar evolved into a modern European city in the second half of the nineteenth century. All of these events contributed to Zadar's rich history, and its center, which is surrounded by historical walls, has the most monuments in Croatia. Since July 2017, the walls have been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun are two works of art that do not come from history but are well-known around the world. From here, you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset in the world, according to Alfred Hitchcock.

Zadar - Marina Tankerkomerc

Our catamarans are docked at Marina Tankerkomerc, which is roughly a 10-minute walk from the old town. The marina has 300 sea berths and 200 dry berths and is well protected from the wind. The Moto Marina Service is also available for spare parts and repairs. The marina has excellent sanitary and safety facilities, as well as parking (Blue Flag). Zadar Airport is 12 kilometers away, Split Airport is 130 kilometers away, and Zagreb Airport is 290 kilometers away. The marina is right adjacent to the gas station. The marina is roughly a 10-minute walk from a grocery. There is also a drugstore, a pharmacy, and a bus stop in addition to the grocery. Near the marina, there are various restaurants and cafes.

The Kornat restaurant sits in the old town, directly across from the Marina Tankerkomerc. You can walk across the bridge or take a rowing boat to get to the restaurant. The barkajoli, or rowing boat captains, have a long history in Zadar and are one of the city's hallmarks. This is a 14th-century family tradition that continues today. It's only a 2-minute walk from the marina to the start of "Barkajoli," which is directly next to the Barka coffee shop. Bruschetta is another restaurant with a view of the sea from its patio. Garden Lounge, which is positioned on the city walls and has a view of the harbor and the sea, is a recommended coffee and cocktail bar. The marina is around 5 kilometers from the huge Supernova shopping mall. Taxis are the most convenient mode of transportation.

Our Catamaran- Elba 45 - La Grange

Elba 45 - La Grange is a 5-cabin catamaran that was built in 2022. La Grange has one single cabin and four double cabins that can accommodate up to nine people. The price includes pillows and blankets. The Catamaran La Grange has 5 showers and toilets. Classical mainsail, electric winches, solar panels, radar, generator, and bimini are among the boat's characteristics. Heating, air conditioning, an audio system, outside speakers, and a flybridge are all included. Dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, cooktop, and sink are all included in the fully equipped galley.

With new catamaran brands popping up like mushrooms, France's Fountaine Pajot stands out like an oak tree in the market, with a history dating back to 1976. It is also one of the largest catamarans, having sent 600 boats down the river in 2018. It's not a ground-breaking tearaway, but a safe, dependable, and well-thought-out workhorse vehicle. Not surprisingly, more than a hundred of the boats were sold before the first hull was even launched into the sea.

The company has resisted the impulse to include a genuine flybridge on this boat, instead opting for a bulkhead helm station with low-profile lounging area on the coach roof. What does it mean to "resist?" While the added space and cachet of a flybridge may appeal to some, it also places a lot of weight high up, forcing the designer to boost the boom height. As a result, the center of effort is moved higher up the mast, increasing the heeling moment and necessitating a taller mast. As is, the 45's helm provides a type of middle ground, allowing the driver to keep an eye on life on the aft deck below via sightlines through the staircase up to the coach roof. Up top, there's 109 square feet of cushion space where the crew can keep the helmsperson company or simply enjoy a sunset.

This is a modern-looking cruising catamaran with high topsides and bows, however a pronounced reverse sheer helps to minimize the bulk of the saloon windows while also providing additional useable capacity below. The transoms are skirted aft to make it simpler to jump aboard from the tender or while moored alongside. An optional electrically controlled bathing platform that spans the full width between the hulls and provides a convenient way to launch and recover a 10ft 10in tender, eliminating the need for unsightly davits, is another excellent feature.

With the 59ft 5in mast placed on the leading end of the coach roof, the rig is ICW friendly and represents a fairly normal catamaran arrangement. For simple control and tight trim angles, the mainsheet runs to a traveler mounted aft of the helm and lounging area, and the genoa sheets to a pair of tracks located close to the centerline and within reach of the cockpit. All lines return to a rope-handling pit directly front of the wheel, where three Lewmar 50 winches make handling sheets, halyards, and reefing lines a breeze.

In this boat, you don't waste any time getting the sails up, thanks to an innovative hook mounted on the head car that offers a 2:1 purchase as it drags the main sail up the mast track. The FP Elba 45 managed an effortless 7 to 8 knots beating into roughly 12 knots of true wind at a 45-degree apparent wind angle with the completely battened main and normal 120 percent genoa.

She rolled along beautifully, despite the wind. We were unable to test a reaching or running sail, which would have greatly enhanced the experience. The broader genoa, according to Fountaine Pajot, means that a specialized Code 0 isn't necessary. A central longeron, however, protrudes beyond the bow and serves as a tack point for such canvas.

By occupying a true sweet spot in terms of LOA and displacement, this catamaran caters to both families who enjoy pottering around the bay and individuals with ambitious cruising intentions. This could be the boat for you if you want a fun, safe cruising boat that will take care of your family in style.
