Descrição do produto

Enjoy an extensive 14-day voyage from Tortola into the southern Caribbean aboard a refined 62-metre Oceanco yacht with accommodation for up to 10 guests. Supported by a professional crew of 15, this fully crewed itinerary combines the sophistication of St Martin and Antigua with the rainforests of Dominica, the Pitons of St Lucia, the anchorages of the Grenadines, the culture of Grenada and longer offshore passages toward Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.

Beginning in the British Virgin Islands allows the charter to start within a well-established maritime environment. Tortola offers modern marina services, reliable shore support, secure berthing and convenient arrangements for arriving guests. Following a personalised welcome, luggage assistance and yacht orientation, the group can settle into five beautifully appointed cabins before departing toward Virgin Gorda and the broader Caribbean island chain.

A Two-Week Southern Caribbean Adventure

The additional duration of this charter creates scope for a more immersive experience than a conventional seven-day route. Guests can discover numerous island cultures, enjoy relaxed time in selected anchorages and experience the satisfaction of longer blue-water passages aboard a substantial private yacht. The itinerary moves progressively south through the Leeward and Windward Islands before reaching Grenada, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.

Because the route covers considerable distances and several jurisdictions, all destinations remain subject to seasonal weather, customs and immigration procedures, berth availability and the captain's final passage plan. The yacht may adjust intermediate stops or the return programme to ensure realistic timing, safe navigation and appropriate guest comfort. The charter team works closely with the captain to preserve the spirit of the southern loop while responding professionally to actual conditions.

Day 1 - Tortola to Virgin Gorda

Depart Tortola and cruise toward Virgin Gorda, easing into the charter through the protected waters of the British Virgin Islands. Visit The Baths, where immense granite formations, clear pools and narrow pathways create an unforgettable natural setting. Swim, snorkel or explore ashore before returning to the yacht for refreshments. A sheltered overnight anchorage provides a peaceful first evening and time to become familiar with the crew, amenities and daily onboard routine.

Day 2 - St Martin and Sint Maarten

Continue toward St Martin or Sint Maarten, crossing open channels under the influence of the Caribbean trade winds. Simpson Bay or Marigot can provide access to well-equipped marinas, waterfront restaurants, beaches and international shopping. Guests may experience the relaxed French side, the energetic Dutch side or a personalised combination of both. The crew prepares the yacht for the coming southern passages while guests enjoy an evening ashore or private dining onboard.

Day 3 - Antigua and Barbuda

Sail south to Antigua and enter English Harbour or Falmouth Harbour, two of the region's most recognised yacht destinations. Explore Nelson's Dockyard, visit panoramic viewpoints or spend the afternoon at one of Antigua's many beaches. The island's strong maritime heritage and capable yacht services make it a valuable destination as well as a practical provisioning point before the route enters the Windward Islands.

Day 4 - Guadeloupe

Proceed to Guadeloupe through scenic sailing conditions and arrive near Deshaies, Pointe-à-Pitre or another appropriate anchorage. The island combines French Caribbean lifestyle with rainforest interiors, waterfalls, volcanic terrain and appealing coastal villages. Guests can enjoy a guided nature excursion, explore local cuisine or remain aboard for a quieter day framed by mountainous views. Evening service can be arranged outdoors if conditions allow.

Day 5 - Dominica

Dominica presents one of the route's most powerful natural landscapes. Anchor near Portsmouth or Roseau and explore rivers, hot springs, waterfalls and rainforest trails. Local guides can help reveal the island's ecological character, while guests preferring to relax can enjoy the scenery from the yacht's decks, pool or Jacuzzi. Compared with busier charter destinations, Dominica offers a more peaceful and untouched coastal experience.

Day 6 - Martinique

Continue to Martinique and enter an environment shaped by French culture, established marina facilities and dramatic volcanic topography. Le Marin, Fort-de-France or a sheltered bay may form the day's base. Guests can visit markets, enjoy French Caribbean dining, explore historic districts or spend time on a beach. The yacht can also replenish supplies and complete operational preparations before travelling to St Lucia.

Day 7 - St Lucia

Arrive in St Lucia and cruise beneath the famous Pitons near Soufrière or use Rodney Bay as a convenient alternative. The island's steep green peaks, volcanic attractions and protected bays make it one of the most visually striking destinations in the Caribbean. Snorkelling, beach visits, private shore excursions and scenic tender rides can be incorporated into the day. Sunset beneath the Pitons creates an exceptional backdrop for dinner on deck.

Day 8 - St Vincent

Travel south toward St Vincent, where rugged coastlines, mountain valleys and quieter settlements offer an authentic Windward Islands atmosphere. Possible stops include Wallilabou Bay, Kingstown or another anchorage selected by the captain. Guests may explore waterfalls, meet local communities or enjoy the yacht's private facilities. This less-developed stage provides an engaging contrast with the international marina destinations visited earlier.

Day 9 - Bequia, Mustique and the Grenadines

Enter the Grenadines and enjoy shorter passages between Bequia, Mustique and neighbouring islands according to the day's agreed programme. Bequia offers attractive maritime character, while Mustique is associated with privacy, villas and an understated sense of exclusivity. Clear bays and coral reefs create ideal conditions for snorkelling, swimming and tender exploration. With less time required for passage-making, guests can devote more of the day to the water and the islands themselves.

Day 10 - Tobago Cays

Spend a full day in Tobago Cays Marine Park, one of the defining highlights of a southern Caribbean yacht charter. Protected lagoons, small uninhabited islands, coral reefs and brilliant water surround the yacht. Swim with turtles where conditions permit, snorkel above marine life or relax on pale sandbars. The crew can arrange tender transfers and refreshments, while the yacht remains an exceptionally comfortable private base within this celebrated natural environment.

Day 11 - Grenada

Continue toward Grenada and arrive near St George's, Prickly Bay or another suitable anchorage. Known for spice production, green hills and colourful coastal communities, Grenada provides a rewarding mixture of culture and landscape. Guests may explore markets, historic streets, gardens or waterfalls before returning for an evening onboard. The stop also marks the transition from the Grenadines into the deeper southern Caribbean.

Day 12 - Offshore Passage to Barbados

Begin the longer passage toward Barbados, moving through more exposed waters under carefully monitored conditions. The yacht's bridge team manages navigation, weather assessment and watchkeeping while guests enjoy the freedom of a full day at sea. The observation lounge, gym, heated pool and elegant interior spaces make it easy to alternate between activity and rest. Personalised meals and refreshments are served according to the group's preferred rhythm.

Day 13 - Trinidad and Tobago

Continue toward Trinidad and Tobago, reaching the southernmost stage of the itinerary. The region presents sheltered bays, mangrove environments, maritime facilities and a strong cultural identity shaped by numerous influences. The final destination will depend on clearance arrangements and the captain's approved plan. Guests may explore ashore, enjoy coastal cruising or simply appreciate the achievement of travelling from the Virgin Islands into the far southern Caribbean.

Day 14 - Commencement of the Northbound Return

The final scheduled day begins the return north through the Caribbean island chain. Due to the considerable distance between Trinidad and Tortola, the exact disembarkation point, return passage duration and onward arrangements must be established during charter planning. Guests can enjoy a last day of open-water cruising, attentive service and uninterrupted sea views while the captain follows the agreed operational programme. The crew coordinates the conclusion and any required onward transfer with care.

Life Aboard the 62-Metre Oceanco Yacht

The yacht has been designed to make an extended charter feel spacious, varied and effortlessly comfortable. Oceanco's recognised standards of engineering and craftsmanship are reflected in the elegant exterior profile, refined interior finishes and intelligent arrangement of private and communal spaces. Its 62-metre length provides substantial deck areas without compromising the intimate atmosphere expected on a charter limited to 10 guests.

Five luxurious cabins include an exceptional full-deck owner's suite. The arrangement allows the principal charter guest to enjoy a highly private retreat while family members or friends occupy beautifully appointed guest accommodations with en-suite facilities. Thoughtful separation between cabins and social spaces supports quiet rest even when other guests are enjoying entertainment elsewhere onboard.

Panoramic windows and comfortable lounges make the interior especially appealing during offshore passages. Guests can gather for conversation, enjoy entertainment, work remotely or appreciate the scenery in climate-controlled comfort. Elegant dining environments accommodate formal celebrations and relaxed family meals, while the Steinway grand piano brings a distinctive artistic element to evenings aboard.

Exterior living is centred around a heated pool, deck Jacuzzi, generous sunpads and several relaxation zones. Guests can dine outdoors, enjoy drinks at sunset or find a private corner away from the main social areas. The panoramic observation lounge enhances island approaches and sea days, while the swimming platform creates convenient access to tenders and sheltered anchorages.

A gym supports regular exercise throughout the two-week journey. Starlink and Wi-Fi provide connectivity where network availability permits, and advanced stabilisation systems help improve comfort underway and at anchor. With 15 crew members serving no more than 10 guests, hospitality can remain highly personalised. Navigation, engineering, cuisine, housekeeping and concierge assistance are all managed by experienced professionals.

Fourteen Days of Caribbean Discovery

This grand southern route is created for guests who want to experience the Caribbean on a meaningful scale. Rather than limiting the journey to one island group, it connects the British Virgin Islands, Leeward destinations, Windward landscapes, the Grenadines and the southern Caribbean within one private charter. The variety of cultures, scenery and sailing conditions ensures that each stage feels distinct.

Securing the yacht well in advance is strongly recommended because a 62-metre Oceanco with this accommodation, amenity package and crew capacity will have limited availability during peak Caribbean periods. Early confirmation provides the time required to refine passage planning, destination clearances, catering, celebrations and shore arrangements. Reserve your preferred charter window and experience the Caribbean through a combination of world-class comfort, dedicated service and exceptional geographic variety.
