12-Day Crewed Codecasa 62m Leeward Islands Luxury Yacht Charter from Tortola for Up to 18 Guests

Discover the variety of the Leeward Islands on a twelve-day private yacht charter beginning at Tortola Marina in the British Virgin Islands. Designed around frequent island stops, manageable inter-island passages and a rewarding blend of beaches, heritage, natural scenery and cosmopolitan yachting centres, this route connects the BVI with St John, St Martin, Anguilla, St Kitts, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Dominica and St Barts before returning to Tortola.

The experience is ideally suited to guests who want meaningful destination variety without building the entire holiday around consecutive long offshore passages. Protected bays, established harbours and relatively compact distances create regular opportunities to swim, explore ashore, dine beside the water and enjoy the yacht's extensive facilities. Although the programme follows a defined twelve-day framework, the captain may refine the routing according to weather forecasts, sea conditions, port availability, local regulations and guest priorities.

Tortola Marina offers a convenient and professional starting point. Modern facilities, secure berthing, guest services and good regional connections help make arrival and boarding straightforward. Once onboard, guests are welcomed by a seventeen-member crew responsible for navigation, housekeeping, culinary service, deck operations, technical management and personalised hospitality. Preferences relating to food, entertainment, celebrations, daily activities and privacy can be coordinated in advance so that the experience reflects the character of the group.

About Our Leeward Islands Charter Experience

The Leeward Islands offer one of the Caribbean's most rewarding environments for a luxury yacht holiday. Each island has its own identity, ranging from the easy-going beach culture of Jost Van Dyke and Anguilla to the French and Dutch influences of St Martin, the historic harbours of Antigua and the volcanic landscapes of Guadeloupe and Dominica. This route uses the yacht as a private base from which guests can experience both internationally recognised destinations and more secluded natural anchorages.

Day 1 - Tortola and Jost Van Dyke: Following embarkation and a comprehensive introduction to the yacht, the charter begins with a relaxed passage toward Jost Van Dyke. Short distances and sheltered cruising provide an easy first day, with time available for swimming, snorkelling or visiting one of the island's welcoming waterfront areas. Guests can settle into their staterooms, meet the crew and enjoy their first alfresco meal before anchoring in a calm bay for the evening.

Day 2 - Jost Van Dyke to St John: The yacht proceeds toward St John in the US Virgin Islands. Depending on clearance procedures and anchorage availability, the programme may include Cruz Bay, Coral Bay or another protected location. The island's beaches, green hills and walking trails offer opportunities for a relaxed morning or afternoon ashore. Guests preferring to remain near the water can swim, snorkel or enjoy the yacht's sun deck and Jacuzzi.

Day 3 - St John to St Martin: A longer eastward passage brings the yacht toward St Martin and Sint Maarten. The island's French and Dutch sectors create two distinctive atmospheres within one destination. Simpson Bay, Marigot or another suitable harbour may be selected according to conditions. Once ashore, guests can explore waterfront restaurants, boutiques, beach clubs and marina districts, while the yacht's crew prepares for the next stage of the itinerary.

Day 4 - Anguilla: A short crossing leads to Anguilla, widely appreciated for its clear water and long, lightly developed beaches. Road Bay, Shoal Bay or another suitable anchorage may provide access to swimming, snorkelling and a leisurely beach visit. The minimal cruising distance allows the day to focus on relaxation. Lunch can be served onboard or arranged ashore, followed by sunset drinks and a quiet evening overlooking the island.

Day 5 - St Kitts and Nevis: The yacht travels south toward the twin-island destination of St Kitts and Nevis. Volcanic scenery, historic settlements and attractive coastal waters distinguish this stage of the route. Guests may visit Basseterre, explore Charlestown, tour a historic site or experience local dining. Protected anchorages and marina options allow the captain to select the most appropriate overnight location based on the day's conditions.

Day 6 - Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua is one of the Caribbean's best-known sailing destinations and a natural centrepiece of the itinerary. English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour combine yachting infrastructure with remarkable historical surroundings. Guests may visit Nelson's Dockyard, explore the coastal viewpoints, enjoy a private island drive or relax at a waterfront venue. The stop also offers an opportunity for provisioning and operational preparation before continuing south.

Day 7 - Guadeloupe: The yacht reaches Guadeloupe, where French Caribbean culture meets volcanic topography, rainforest and varied coastal landscapes. Possible anchorages include the Deshaies area or waters closer to Pointe-à-Pitre, depending on the chosen plan. Guests can explore a waterfall, walk through tropical vegetation, visit a coastal village or enjoy a quiet afternoon onboard. The day's sailing offers attractive views along the island's rugged shoreline.

Day 8 - Dominica: Dominica introduces one of the most nature-focused days of the charter. The island is known for dense rainforest, rivers, hot springs, waterfalls and dramatic mountain scenery. Anchorage may be arranged near Portsmouth, Roseau or another suitable location. Guided excursions can reveal the island's natural interior, while guests who prefer a slower day can enjoy swimming, tender exploration and the peaceful surroundings of an uncrowded bay.

Day 9 - Northbound Passage: The return toward the northern Leeward Islands begins with a longer day at sea. The bridge team manages route selection, weather monitoring and navigation while guests enjoy the yacht's interior lounges, gym, entertainment facilities and expansive outdoor decks. This passage provides time to appreciate the yacht as a destination in its own right and creates a comfortable transition between the southern and northern sections of the itinerary.

Day 10 - Return to St Martin: Arrival back in the St Martin area provides access to excellent marina facilities, shopping, dining and beach clubs. Guests may revisit a favourite part of the island or explore an area not included during the earlier call. The day's flexible structure allows time for spa arrangements, a private lunch ashore, boutique shopping or an unhurried afternoon beside the yacht's Jacuzzi.

Day 11 - St Barts and Anguilla: Subject to conditions and local arrangements, the yacht may make an optional call at St Barts before continuing toward Anguilla. St Barts offers a polished atmosphere, designer shopping, fine dining and attractive beaches, while Anguilla provides a calmer setting for the final night. Short inter-island distances make it possible to combine destination exploration with swimming and relaxed cruising.

Day 12 - Return to Tortola: The final passage leads through the northern island chain toward the British Virgin Islands. Views of Virgin Gorda and surrounding cays create a scenic conclusion before the yacht returns to Tortola Marina. Guests can enjoy a final breakfast or lunch onboard, reflect on the twelve-day circuit and prepare for an efficiently coordinated disembarkation.

About Our Codecasa 62m Luxury Yacht

This 62-metre Codecasa represents a refined combination of Italian design, substantial volume and contemporary charter amenities. Her elegant profile is complemented by interiors created by Della Role Design, where traditional sophistication is balanced with comfortable social spaces. Following a comprehensive 2023 refit, the yacht is presented for modern luxury cruising while retaining the timeless qualities associated with Codecasa craftsmanship.

Seven staterooms accommodate up to eighteen guests, making the yacht suitable for multigenerational families, groups of friends, milestone celebrations and private corporate occasions. The accommodation is supported by several dining, lounging and entertainment environments, allowing different members of the group to enjoy privacy or gather together according to the mood of the day.

One of the interior focal points is the illuminated onyx bar, an elegant venue for pre-dinner drinks and evening conversation. A dedicated nightclub-style space with karaoke facilities provides a completely different setting for music and celebrations. Satellite television and Wi-Fi connectivity help guests remain entertained and connected, while full air conditioning maintains interior comfort throughout the tropical itinerary.

The sun deck is designed for long days outdoors, with a Jacuzzi, exterior bar, panoramic lounging areas and generous sunbathing space. Alfresco dining areas support everything from informal breakfasts to elegant evening meals. An elevator serving each deck makes movement around the yacht more convenient, while a fully equipped gym allows guests to maintain personal fitness routines during the charter.

Advanced stabilisation systems support comfort when cruising and at anchor. Two luxury tenders expand access to beaches, waterfront restaurants, shallow bays and coastal excursion points. Most importantly, the seventeen-member crew provides the operational capability and attentive hospitality expected aboard a yacht of this scale.

A Refined Circuit Through the Leeward Islands

This twelve-day route provides an excellent balance between destination discovery and genuine yacht enjoyment. Guests are not limited to a single island culture or one style of cruising. Instead, the itinerary moves through British, American, French, Dutch and independent Caribbean territories, offering a continually changing combination of cuisine, history, landscapes and coastal lifestyles.

With extensive guest facilities, accommodation for up to eighteen and a large professional crew, the yacht provides a highly private alternative to resort-based travel. Reserve your preferred dates early to allow sufficient time for berth planning, cruising permissions, menu preparation and personalised activity arrangements. From Tortola's welcoming marina to the natural beauty of Dominica and the sophisticated atmosphere of St Barts, this Leeward Islands charter is designed to deliver twelve days of variety, comfort and carefully coordinated service.
