Description

Thassos Circumnavigation & Mainland Touch – 7-Night Bareboat from Kavala

Circle Thassos at a comfortable tempo, stringing together Aliki’s emerald waters, Golden Beach’s long arc of sand, and the antiquities of Limenas, with a satisfying mainland interlude at Keramoti. The shape of the week favors leisurely mornings, swim-rich pauses, and dinners that stretch into warm nights along friendly promenades.

About Our Service around Thassos & the Thracian Mainland

Built for relaxed coastal cruising, this itinerary keeps distances short and the decisions simple: another cove or coffee ashore? With straightforward provisioning, reliable shelter, and flexible lunch stops, it’s a stress-light plan that lets the island’s rhythm do the heavy lifting.

Day 1 – Kavala to Nea Iraklitsa (~6 NM)
Board at 17:00, complete checks, and slip out for a sunset arrival. Swim and dine onboard in calm water. Overnight at anchor.

Day 2 – Nea Iraklitsa to Limenaria (~15 NM)
Hop south with swim breaks in quiet coves. Limenaria’s waterfront sets the scene for an evening of easy strolling and taverna fare.

Day 3 – Aliki Bay & Panagia Bay
Morning at Aliki’s clear shallows above marble history, then a short move to peaceful Panagia Bay for a sunset that lasts and lasts.

Day 4 – Panagia Bay to Golden Beach (~8 NM)
Anchor over bright sand, launch the paddleboard, and let the afternoon idle by. Shoreline tavernas keep the day anchored in simple pleasures.

Day 5 – Golden Beach to Limenas (~10 NM)
Shift to the island capital for ruins, theater, and museum time. Resupply, sample local wines, and enjoy a proper night ashore.

Day 6 – Limenas to Keramoti (~20 NM)
Cross to the mainland for a mellow beachfront change of scene. Long walks and a quiet dinner pair perfectly with a glass-calm anchorage.

Day 7 – Keramoti to Kavala (~15 NM)
Arrive back at the castle-capped harbor. Tour the Panagia quarter and aqueduct before a final dinner with harbor views. Overnight onboard.

Day 8 – Disembarkation (09:00)

About Our Yacht – Sun Odyssey 410 (2020)

The 410’s contemporary lines deliver a stable ride and easy handling. A folding cockpit table and cushions create an outdoor lounge, while the powerful windlass and chain counter simplify anchoring on sand. Solar support helps keep batteries topped up during bay nights. Inside, three cabins and two WCs mean privacy and comfort for up to six guests.

Navigation is concise with Raymarine i70 data, AXIOM 7 touch charting, a 70s autopilot for steady tracks, and VHF for clear comms. A 2.5 m tender with 2.3 hp outboard brings beaches and tavernas within effortless reach. This is island-hopping made comfortably simple.

For travelers drawn to swim-centric days and unhurried evenings, a full Thassos loop with a mainland pause is an ideal northern Aegean week.
