Samothraki Bareboat Adventure – Weekly Charter from Kavala
Framed by Kavala’s Venetian castle and waterfront arcades, your week opens with urban charm and shifts to Samothraki’s dramatic wildness. Expect one purposeful open-water crossing followed by days of waterfalls, hot springs, and quiet anchorages, then a civilized glide back through Alexandroupolis and the lagoon world of Porto Lagos.
About Our Service in Kavala, Samothraki & Thrace
We plan the long passage early in the week for calm seas and maximum island time. Ashore, our notes point to trailheads for the Fonias river pools, the Therma hot springs, and the Sanctuary of the Great Gods. On the return, you’ll enjoy café-lined promenades and an easy approach to sheltered lagoon waters.

About Our Yacht – Bavaria 46
The Bavaria 46 matches Samothraki’s demands with space and capability. Four cabins and two heads keep routines smooth after active days ashore. The bimini and sprayhood tame sun and spray, while GPS, radar and AIS add assurance on the 55 NM crossing. A reliable outboard on the tender expands your reach to trailheads and quiet beaches. Built 2007, privately held until 2016 and well kept since, this platform feels solid underfoot and welcoming at anchor.
Pick this adventure if your crew loves real mileage with a big reward ashore - waterfalls, thermal springs, and star-filled anchorages. Book early for the best combination of marina availability and settled seasonal winds.
