Trogir - Croatia
Croatia's stunning Dalmatian coast is home to the medieval town of Trogir. Trogir is the ideal day trip destination from Split, Sibenik, or Zadar due to its small size. Trogir is a rather small city. The entire town can be explored on foot in well under an hour. When we came for the day, we traversed the streets many times to take in the stunning stone structures. You may see all the main attractions, savor a few leisurely lunches, and take a ton of pictures on a day trip to Trogir. One of the most stunning destinations in Croatia and one of the simplest day trips from Split is Trogir. You must include it on your agenda for the nation.
Just a few kilometers north of Split, Trogir is an actual island that is connected to the mainland by bridges. Due to its exquisite Venetian style, Trogir's old town has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trogir, along with many other coastal towns in Croatia, served as the setting for the city of Qarth in the Game of Thrones television series. You will undoubtedly fall in love with this hidden gem of a town since it is so lovely. Simply taking a stroll through Trogir's streets is the greatest thing to do there. Explore the many modest shops that line the streets, take in the stunning stone architecture, and linger in the bustling squares. Trogir is so little that it is impossible to get lost, so you can take your time taking in all the charming little streets and exquisite structures. Even better, take a walking tour with a guide to learn about the fascinating town's history as you take in the main attractions. If we can, we always take a walking tour because it is the best way to learn about an area, especially if your guide is knowledgeable.
Hvar, Brac and Solta Tour
Your captain will pick you up at the prearranged meeting location in Split or Trogir. You will find yourself cruising through the endless Adriatic Sea the very next second. We will be arriving in The Pakleni Islands after a leisurely hour-long ride with nothing but the breeze in our hair. A refreshing dip will tempt you into the endless bays' crystal-clear water, which gives you the impression that you are staring through a glass. It's time to get ready and head to the town of Hvar after finishing your first swim of the day. Hvar's old town has a ton to offer in terms of historical attractions. And hike up to the Fortica, the medieval stronghold, if you want to take some breathtaking pictures to make your pals back home envious. The scene is breathtaking. It's time to board the boat again and head towards the Island of Brac's undiscovered beach after the coffee break and touring. You could not ask for a better beach than this Golden Horn-style one.
Your private hideaway for the next 1.5 hours will be a deserted sandy beach with clear water. You will have access to snorkeling gear that we will supply, allowing you to explore both above and below the water. Those who enjoy the sun will adore this location. You may feel the sun's warmth tan your skin. Additionally, the cicadas' recognizable summertime sound will just make you unwind. The covert military tunnel, which served as a submarine bunker during the Yugoslavian era, will be our next stop. This incredible remnant from a bygone era in Croatian history is definitely worth seeing.
The Tarazn rope, which was installed by the neighborhood fishermen as a way to cross the tunnel from one side to the other, is today a lot of fun. Don't rely on our word alone, though. You can put it to the test. We are wrapping up our tour of the island of Brac with the visit to the battle tunnel. It's time to set sail for the Soltan island's Stomorska settlement. In this serene and calm area, we will moor our boat directly in front of the eatery. The first step you take will bring you into the restaurant, which is situated right next to the lake.
This is the ideal location for lunch because of the authentic Dalmatian atmosphere and great home cooking. Lunch is optional, though, and for those who would rather forgo it, a stroll and some ice cream are excellent ways to pass the time. Although, once the aroma of a Dalmatian kitchen hits you, it will be difficult to resist eating the meal. grilled fish, tomato spaghetti, octopus’ salad, and black risotto. Necujam Bay is where we stop for the last time before returning home. The bay's sunken ship will be the ideal location for our final swim of the day and for snorkeling. Sadly, it is time to return home as the day is drawing to an end. After another 30 minutes of travel, we will be back in Split or Trogir, where we left off.
