This coastal itinerary favors gentle distances, long swims, and shore time in characterful towns. From Kavala to Iraklitsa and Keramoti, then east to Porto Lagos and Alexandroupolis, you’ll discover wetlands with flamingos, a monastery floating on a lagoon, and wide, sandy strands that invite late-afternoon anchoring and dinner onboard.

Expect morning and afternoon sailing windows that keep days balanced, plus route notes for birdwatching lookouts, kayak-friendly lagoons, and family-safe beaches. We’ll share timings for the Evros Delta excursion and dining suggestions in each harbor, so your week combines nature, culture, and unhurried cruising.
Day 1 (Saturday, 17:00) – Kavala → Iraklitsa (~6 NM)
Board, brief, and ease into a short coastal hop. Anchor for a first swim and a relaxed cockpit dinner. Overnight at Iraklitsa.
Day 2 (Sunday) – Iraklitsa → Keramoti (~15 NM)
Clear water, sandy bottoms, and a friendly waterfront define Keramoti. Swim, sun, and sample a beachside lunch.
Day 3 (Monday) – Keramoti → Porto Lagos (~18 NM)
Arrive to the lagoon-linked harbor and visit Agios Nikolaos Monastery by wooden bridge. Quiet evening with birdsong at dusk.
Day 4 (Tuesday) – Porto Lagos → Alexandroupolis (~35 NM)
Make way to the region’s vibrant hub. Walk the promenade, photograph the lighthouse, and choose among cafés and seafood tavernas. Overnight in marina.
Day 5 (Wednesday) – Evros Delta Excursion
Optional guided tour into the protected delta: look for flamingos and pelicans, then return to the city or anchor nearby for a nature-wrapped night.
Day 6 (Thursday) – Alexandroupolis → Keramoti (~35 NM)
Revisit Keramoti’s beaches and unwind ahead of your final leg. Sunset swims recommended.
Day 7 (Friday) – Keramoti → Kavala (~25 NM)
Back to Kavala for castle ramparts, the Ottoman aqueduct, and dinner overlooking the harbor. Overnight onboard.
Day 8 (Saturday, 09:00) – Disembarkation
Breakfast and checkout at Kavala Marina; nature, culture, and calm seas in the wake.
