Descripción

Delivered in March 2001 after construction began in late 1999, this 46.63-metre custom Feadship motor yacht combines Northern European pedigree, lightweight aluminium construction, exceptional performance and comprehensive luxury accommodation. Built by Feadship, with naval architecture and exterior design by De Voogt and interiors by John Munford, she was refitted in 2025.

Her unusual engineering package combines two high-output MTU diesels with a Vericor gas turbine, twin screw propellers and a central waterjet. Capable of a stated 35-knot maximum speed, she occupies a distinctive position among performance yachts of comparable size. The yacht is presently offered in Fort Lauderdale, United States, and is identified as United States-flagged.

Design and Aluminium Construction

The yacht’s aluminium hull and superstructure reduce structural weight and support the performance requirements of her powerful propulsion package. De Voogt’s naval architecture balances high-speed ability with the volume and accommodation expected of a 46-metre Feadship, while John Munford’s interior provides a sophisticated environment for extended private use.

Her three-deck configuration incorporates substantial outdoor and interior areas for dining, relaxation, sunbathing and entertaining. The 2025 refit provides further contemporary relevance, although the exact work completed should be established through shipyard documentation, invoices and an equipment-replacement schedule.

Guest and Crew Accommodation

The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins. The arrangement comprises a main-deck owner’s suite, one VIP suite, one double cabin and two twin cabins, supplemented by two Pullman berths.

The full-beam owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck and includes a king-size bed and a large ensuite bathroom with a central shower and bathtub. A full-beam VIP suite is arranged on the lower deck, providing another substantial private cabin. The combination of double, twin and Pullman accommodation offers flexibility for families and mixed guest groups.

Crew accommodation is provided for up to eight personnel across five crew cabins. Prospective buyers should confirm the current certified guest and crew capacity, updated general arrangement and any accommodation modifications made during the refit.

Exceptional Propulsion and Performance

Power is provided by two MTU 16V4000 M90 diesel engines, each rated at 3,650 hp at 2,100 rpm, together with a Vericor TF-50 Lycoming gas turbine rated at 5,600 hp. The combined stated output is approximately 12,900 hp.

The propulsion arrangement uses twin screws and a single waterjet, giving the yacht a reported maximum speed of 35 knots. This exceptional capability makes her suitable for owners who prioritise rapid passages and dynamic cruising. Her lower cruising speeds, consumption, fuel capacity and range should be verified against current technical and operational records.

The acquisition survey must examine the two MTU engines, gas turbine, waterjet, twin-shaft installation, gearboxes, propulsion controls, fuel and cooling systems, exhausts, generators and auxiliary machinery. Engine and turbine hours, serial numbers, rebuild history and manufacturer service records are particularly important for this specialised installation.

2025 Refit and Survey Requirements

Buyers should request a complete 2025 refit specification identifying all machinery, structural, electrical, navigation, safety, cosmetic and hotel-system works. Supporting invoices, service reports, class documentation, warranties and test results should be reviewed.

A professional survey should include detailed inspection of the aluminium hull and superstructure, corrosion protection, welds, coatings, decks, tanks and past repairs. Haul-out should permit examination of the underwater hull, screws, shafts, waterjet intake and nozzle, rudders and other appendages. A comprehensive sea trial should test acceleration, cruising and maximum-speed behaviour, machinery loads, temperatures, vibration, noise, steering and propulsion controls.

Generators, electrical panels, batteries, shore power, air conditioning, plumbing, navigation systems, communications and statutory safety equipment should also be documented and tested. The yacht’s performance and unusual propulsion system make specialist technical representation especially advisable.

Registration and Acquisition

The vessel is identified as registered under the United States flag. The current registration, official number or HIN, title, ownership structure, mortgages, liens, classification, statutory certification and operational status should be verified directly. Buyers should also confirm her VAT, import and customs status for their intended cruising programme.

The purchase agreement should clearly identify the included equipment, tender and toy inventory, spares and warranties. It should also set out the survey and sea-trial conditions, deposit, secure escrow process, payment terms, delivery condition, closing location, title transfer, taxes, fees, insurance and relocation obligations.
