Ibiza's velvet season lasts until the end of October, and it's a fantastic time to go sailing. After a sweltering summer, the sea has warmed up, and the sun is no longer searing. During our sailing week, we will visit two islands: Ibiza and Formentera.
During the enchanting velvet season, embark on an extraordinary voyage among the turquoise waters of Ibiza's shoreline.
You'll spend a week aboard a boat in the turquoise seas of Ibiza and Formentera, exploring the islands on rental scooters or vehicles, visiting some of the greatest beaches, and reveling in the grandeur of Ibiza's legendary closing parties. Finally, you will understand why millions of people prefer to vacation in Ibiza and Formentera every year.
While cruising down the coast of Ibiza, you'll be treated to spectacular views that merge the brilliant Mediterranean colors with the island's natural beauty. The velvet season adds a sense of calm to the surroundings, making for a more private and serene experience as you discover secret coves, isolated beaches, and attractive coastal villages.
But it is our boat cruise's immaculate timing amid the huge closing celebrations in Ibiza that truly distinguishes it. Ibiza's Old Town on Day 1
We gather in our Ibiza base marina (Port Ibiza). By cab, Marina is around 15-20 minutes from the airport. We check into the boat, meet the crew members, and then proceed to the grocery to collect food and beverages. In the evening, we plan to go down the embankment and eat at one of the restaurants. Overnight stay at the base marina.
Formentera on Day 2
After breakfast and a safety instruction, we set sail for a modest passage to the island of Formentera. We spend the day at anchor on one of Europe's most gorgeous beaches, swimming in the warm water.We'll watch the sunset at sea and spend the night at anchor under the stars.
Formentera - Cala Jondal, Day 3
We left the ship after breakfast to visit the island of Formentera. We'll head to the lovely bay of Cala Jondal in the evening. We can go to a fantastic party in the evening! Overnight at anchor in the bay.
Es Vedra - San Antoni, Day 4
Slowly awaken, swim, and prepare a lovely breakfast. Then we load anchor and go for the city of San Antonio. We'll travel via the mystical Es Vedra rocks on the way. We arrive in San Antonio in the afternoon and will watch the sunset at the famed Cafe del Mar in the evening. This sunset will stay with you for a long time! The music carefully chosen for this evening, the ambiance, and the memories of a hectic day make this moment unique, as the last ray of the setting sun is seen off with cheers by hundreds of people.Stop for the night at the marina.
Day 5: Ibiza Exploration
We intend to spend the day at the beach.We'll go to Ibiza's highest point, show you secret coves, and eat lunch together at a local restaurant. On this day, after twilight, we will go to a breathtaking location - a high observation platform (more than 500 meters above the cliff) over the Es Vedra cliffs.
Cala d'Hort, Day 6
We'll travel to the south of Ibiza. We swim from the boat, sunbathe on the deck, and sip our favorite cool beverages. We can return to Formentera at the desire of the crew or spend the night at the lovely cove of Cala d'Hort in Ibiza's south. We stay at anchor for the night.
Day 7: Ibiza Old Town Return
We get up, swim a lot, and then weigh anchor and return to our home marina in Port Ibiza after lunch. We go about the city and eat supper in the evening.
Day 8: Finish
