RESERVATION:
The booking contract and general charter terms contract must be signed within 7 days, and a 50% deposit on the charter price must be made within 10 days. The reservation is considered cancelled if the advance payment is not received within 10 days. The balance, or second 50% payment, is due four weeks before the charter begins.
CANCELLATION:
The reservation is complete once the advance money is received. If you change your mind for no cause (such as a death in the family) and opt to cancel the appointment, the initial payment remains. If the reason is objective, the advance money is preserved as a credit for future reservations. If you cancel the reservation within four weeks of the charter's start date for no reason, we will keep the complete amount (advance and balance payment). Of course, if the cancellation is due to a more objective reason, we are flexible about issuing a refund or holding the money for future appointments. Each case is discussed separately.
Changes to a chartered yacht or rental duration are permitted within 10 days of signing the lease contract and general charter conditions contract, but only in certain situations allowed by our booking team.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in time can be more flexible than at a hotel or comparable facility, so when giving the crew list, make a note of your approximate time of arrival or prior-to-boarding accommodation details. The contract specifies a check-in time of 5 p.m., although boarding a bareboat yacht charter begins at 2 p.m. For early check-in, a fee of 200 EUR is required. On Saturdays, check-in is between 4-5pm and check-out is at 9am when boarding a crewed catamaran or other vessel. We will strive to accommodate any special needs.
PRICES INCLUDED:

ADDITIONAL COSTS:
Comfort pack & Croatian tourist tax
Comfort pack is the term used for the obligatory payment for the preparation of yachts. The comfort package can be paid with the charter price or at check-in, in our office. Preparation of a yacht includes final cleaning, bed sheets, towels, beach towels, gas & snorkeling equipment for 2pax (two pairs of flippers, masks & snorkels).
Croatian Tourist Tax is charged at check-in 1,4 EUR per day per person. Please note that Croatian Tourist Tax can be paid only in cash EUR.
Not included in the charter fee are personal traveling expenses, diesel, gas, mooring fees (except the mooring in our home port MARINA KASTELA), food & beverages.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
According to Croatian maritime law, you must have a license from the state government of the nation from which you are traveling to operate a pleasure vessel. Additionally necessary is the VHF license. Croatia accepts licenses from practically all of the European Union. Please download the list of current licenses issued by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea in order to verify that you have a valid license.
INSURANCE & DEPOSIT:
The chartered yacht is insured against third party damage, fire, lightning, explosion, theft or robbery or damage caused by natural disasters, marine and collision risks, and against any loss or damage except equipment expressed in this contract. The financial liability of the client (charterer) for loss or damage caused by him or a crewmember is limited to the agreed deposit. Exceptions are mentioned in this contract.
1. The insurance premium for the craft chartered is included in the charter price or separately charged as extra costs.
2. The insurance does not cover accidents of crewmembers, losses or damage to their personal belongings. We recommend taking up a special insurance for this purpose.
3. If the insurance comes to bear in case of damage, terms state that the damage had not been caused deliberately or by gross negligence or that the charterer /Skipper did not set a behavior, which releases the insurer to fulfill its contractual obligation. It is expressly stipulated that in case of gross negligence or deliberate act the liability of the Charterer is not limited by the deposit. The Charterer may be forced to pay the full sum of the damage.
RESTRICTIONS:
We reserve the right to restrict the craft's range based on the category of the vessel or if the navigational conditions are hazardous or otherwise unusual. We may even impose a nighttime navigation prohibition on the ship. The Charterer/Skipper alone is responsible for disobeying such regulations.
