INSURANCE & SECURITY DEPOSIT:
• Yachts are comprehensively insured against damage, including third-party coverage.
• The security deposit represents the deductible excess for insurance.
• It is refundable and covers a single insurable event (damage or loss).
• To maintain coverage for subsequent incidents, the deposit must be replenished.
• The deposit amount varies by the size of the yacht.
• It ensures coverage for each insurable event, even if the damage cost exceeds the refundable figure.
• Exceeding the deposit is only possible in the case of auxiliary equipment loss or damage, which the client must cover.
• For skippered charters, the skipper is responsible for damages they cause, and customers are responsible for their onboard actions and any resulting damage.
