Here is a sample itinerary proposed by the experienced BeBlue skippers who possess extensive knowledge of the navigation region. The route can be customized to cater to the group's preferences either prior to departure or while navigating.
Day 1: Check-in Upon arrival at the Charter offices in the Embarkation Marina, check-in will be available in the afternoon. After swiftly completing boat takeover procedures (technical check-in) and stocking the galley, you can savor an aperitif and dinner by the Marina. Alternatively, you can immediately set sail and begin your initial sailing experience.
Day 2 Following breakfast, embark on a sail to the bay of Sagone or Cargèse, contingent upon meteorological conditions. Sagone, a quaint fisherman's village tucked away at the end of a sweeping bay bordered by a lengthy stretch of white sandy beach. Cargèse, a harbor and a typical village situated atop heights, just a few miles away. The village has a historical connection with a Greek colony. Enjoy lunch on board, partake in nautical activities, unwind, and explore the village.
Day 3 After breakfast, set sail along the untamed coast, appreciating its rugged rock formations and deep inlets. You'll encounter Cala di Palù with its renowned stone totems and the distinctive "Sugarloaf" rock formation. Anchor and dine at the "Swimming Pool," a cove bordered by sheer cliffs. Take pleasure in swimming, snorkeling, or kayaking. After lunch, proceed to the Calanques de Piana, showcasing immense caves and captivating red, orange, and pink granite cliffs with intricate animal-like rock formations. Next, explore the UNESCO-designated Gulf of Porto with its unique landscapes. En route, you'll pass Capo Cenino before reaching the Gulf of Girolata, known for its Genoese bastion and charming fisherman's village. Spend the night anchored in Girolata creek.
Day 4 Start the day with breakfast, then sail to the Scandola Natural Reserve. Within the reserve, day mooring is allowed, allowing temporary exploration of the labyrinth-like reef using a tender. Snorkeling provides the opportunity to witness underwater cliffs and abundant marine life. Anchor and have lunch in Scandola, followed by swimming and departure to Calvi. Calvi, historically under Genoese rule, claims a connection to Christopher Columbus. Its quays teem with vibrant bars and restaurants, while the citadel offers splendid views. Spend the night in the marina.
Day 5 The morning offers free time to explore Calvi. Later, sail to the Gulf of La Revellata, where you can engage in swimming, relaxation, snorkeling, and kayaking. After lunch, navigate toward Girolata. South of Calvi, the landscape becomes rugged and steep, characterized by vivid red granite formations. Sail to discover Girolata, a captivating fisherman's village surrounded by striking red rocks. Nautical activities await, and you'll spend the night anchored in Cala Muretta or Cala Vecchia.
Day 6 Explore Capo Rosso and its numerous viewpoints, visiting sites missed during the initial stop. Then sail to Cargese, a renowned Mediterranean seaside resort with a history tied to a Greek colony settlement in the 17th century. Engage in swimming, relaxation, nautical activities, and spend the night moored.
Day 7 The final day involves sailing to Sagone Bay, where you can anchor for swimming and lunch.
