PAYMENT POLICY:
• A deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is required upon signing the contract to secure the booking.
• The remaining 50% of the total rental fee must be paid no later than 30 days before the boarding date.
• Failure to complete the payment within the specified time frame will result in automatic cancellation of the contract.
• Any additional "Extras" must be paid directly at the base prior to boarding.
• Non-payment of the remaining balance or extras may result in contract termination, with the Owner retaining any payments already made. Additional compensation for damages may also be sought.
COMMAND OF THE VESSEL:
• If you don’t have a valid boating license for the trip, you must choose someone who is in charge of the boat. This person will also sign the contract and take responsibility.
• The renter can check if the person in charge knows how to handle the boat.
• If the renter thinks the chosen person isn’t skilled enough, they can suggest a qualified Captain to join the trip, which you’ll need to pay for.
• If you refuse the suggested Captain, the booking will be canceled, and all payments will be kept by the renter.
INSURANCE:
The vessel is covered by liability insurance; however, certain damages, such as those to the engine, are not included. The Renter will be held responsible for any damages not covered by the insurance. If desired, the Renter may choose to extend the insurance coverage at their own expense.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
• If you cancel your booking, the Owner may retain the deposit or the full amount, depending on the notice period given.
• For both bareboat and skippered charters, returning the vessel earlier than planned does not qualify for any refund.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:
• Usage: Use the vessel carefully and only for leisure as agreed. You and the Commander are responsible for following the contract and covering any claims during the rental.
• Delivery: The Owner will deliver the vessel on time, in good condition, and with all necessary gear. You’ll sign a list confirming everything’s in order. No complaints will be accepted after delivery.
• Delay: If the Owner can’t deliver on time, they’ll provide a similar vessel within 48 hours or refund the unused rental days. If the delay is longer, you can cancel and get a full refund.
• Use and Limits: Use the vessel only for leisure within safe ports, and follow all rules. Commercial use and towing (except emergencies) are not allowed.
• Maintenance: You’re responsible for routine care, like cleaning and maintaining the engine and sails. Normal wear and tear repairs will be covered at the end of the rental.
• Costs: You pay for fuel, water, electricity, and port fees.
• Damage and Repairs: Report any damage or accidents within 24 hours. You can continue using the vessel only if it’s safe. Repairs need the Owner’s prior approval.

• Return: Return the vessel on time and in the same condition. Late returns will incur penalties, and you’ll cover any transport costs if the vessel is returned to a different port.
• Deposit: A deposit is required and will be refunded if everything is in order at the end of the rental.
• Weather: The Owner isn’t responsible for delays due to bad weather or maritime restrictions.
• Assistance Costs: Costs for assistance or rescue will be shared between you and the Owner.
• Sublease: You cannot sublease or transfer the contract.
