Description
Some weeks are made for ticking off landmarks. This one is made for feeling Greece - slowly, beautifully, and without the pressure of “doing it all.” Your 7-night skippered catamaran holiday begins at Lefkas Marina, the Ionian Sea’s most practical gateway to island-hopping. From the moment you step aboard at 17:00 on Saturday, you are off duty. A professional skipper takes care of navigation, anchoring, mooring, route decisions, and port formalities - while a hostess/cook focuses on comfort, assistance, and light meals so the atmosphere onboard stays effortless.
This is a premium weekly charter designed for guests who want the freedom of a private yacht holiday, but with none of the responsibility. Days are built around calm water cruising, swim stops in sheltered bays, relaxed tavernas, and ports that feel lively without being overwhelming. The Ionian is famous for exactly this: stable summer winds, short passages between islands, and anchorages where the sea turns turquoise right beside the boat. Your skipper adjusts the route with real-time weather and your preferences in mind, choosing the safest and most enjoyable timing for each sailing leg, while still keeping the weekly structure smooth and stress-free.
About our service in Lefkada and across the Ionian islands
Your charter is professionally organized through our Lefkas Marina base team with a thorough check-in process, yacht orientation, and a full safety briefing before departure. Your skipper provides a route briefing that brings the whole week to life - where the best swim bays are, which harbors are worth an evening ashore, where you can find authentic village tavernas, and which anchorages are ideal for quieter nights. Navigation charts, pilot books, and Ionian guides are all part of the onboard planning toolkit, and you also have 24/7 technical and emergency support throughout the week. Linens, towels, and galley equipment are included, and you can request upgrades such as chef service, Wi-Fi, SUPs, and early check-in depending on availability.
Day 1 - Embarkation at Marina Lefkas (17:00)
Arrive at Lefkas Marina at 17:00 for embarkation. After introductions to your skipper and hostess, you’ll complete the check-in and orientation at a comfortable pace - no rush, no confusion, just a smooth start. Once settled in, Lefkas Town is perfect for a first evening stroll: waterfront cafés, lively squares, and seaside dining that sets the tone for the week. Many guests like to keep the first night easy, enjoying the comfort of the yacht and getting into “holiday mode” before sailing begins.
Day 2 - Lefkas to Meganisi (Abelike Bay)
In the morning, your skipper times departure for an easy 2-3 hour sail into the calm island-studded waters around Meganisi. The destination is Abelike Bay, one of the region’s classic sheltered anchorages - a place for floating swims, snorkeling in clear water, and simply letting the day slow down. With the skipper handling anchoring and positioning, guests can focus on enjoying the sea and the scenery. Later, you’ll head to Vathi village for an evening ashore, where tavernas sit right on the water and the harbor atmosphere feels intimate and authentically Greek.
Day 3 - Meganisi to Fiskardo (Kefalonia)
Today you sail 3-4 hours toward Kefalonia’s most elegant harbor, Fiskardo. The approach itself is memorable - green hills, sparkling water, and a town that looks polished without losing its charm. Fiskardo is famous for its Venetian-style waterfront, boutique shopping, and a “cosmopolitan but relaxed” vibe. Your skipper handles berthing and harbor formalities, leaving you free to wander the lanes, enjoy a long lunch by the quayside, and finish the evening at one of the town’s stylish restaurants with the yacht as your private floating home nearby.
Day 4 - Fiskardo to Vathi (Ithaca)
A shorter 2-3 hour sail takes you to Ithaca, the mythical island of Odysseus, where the landscape feels peaceful and deeply Greek. Vathi is a picturesque natural harbor with hillside views, calm water, and an easy evening atmosphere. Expect gentle swimming bays, photogenic waterfront scenes, and tavernas that serve classic island cuisine. Many guests love Ithaca for how unhurried it feels - the kind of place where you sit longer at dinner simply because nobody is in a hurry to leave.
Day 5 - Vathi to Atokos and onward to Kalamos
This is a highlight day for guests who enjoy remote scenery. First, you cruise to the uninhabited island of Atokos for swimming at One House Bay. The experience is exactly what it sounds like: open, wild, and wonderfully simple - a quiet bay, clear water, and a sense of being far from the busy world. After your swim stop, you continue to Kalamos, arriving for a tranquil evening in a traditional fishing port surrounded by natural beauty. The skipper chooses the best anchor or mooring option based on conditions, keeping the night comfortable and sheltered.
Day 6 - Kalamos to Nydri (Lefkada) with optional Skorpios views
Sail around 3 hours back toward Lefkada’s lively side, with optional stops near the area of Skorpios. The afternoon and evening are spent in Nydri, known for its vibrant waterfront, shops, restaurants, and energetic marina vibe. It’s an excellent “change of pace” night after quieter anchorages - ideal for guests who enjoy having more options for dining, strolling, and people-watching ashore.
Day 7 - Nydri to Lefkas Marina (final sail and swim stop)
The final full day is a relaxed 2-hour sail back to Lefkas Marina, typically with time for one last swim stop in a sheltered bay chosen by your skipper. It’s the perfect goodbye to the Ionian: floating, sunlit water, and that satisfied feeling of having truly lived on the sea for a week. You’ll return to the marina for your final night onboard, with easy access to Lefkas Town for a celebratory dinner if you wish.
Day 8 - Disembarkation at 09:00
Disembark at 09:00 after breakfast and a smooth check-out process, leaving with a full week of Ionian memories - from iconic ports to hidden swim bays - all experienced with complete comfort, professional handling, and a route shaped around your preferences.
