About Our Service in Rías Baixas & Ría de Arousa
Your charter kicks off on Saturday at 17:00 with a friendly check-in and yacht orientation. From Baiona, you’ll glide to the Cíes Islands before turning north into the Ría de Arousa for Vilagarcía, Cambados, and Illa de Arousa, then curving back down the coast to San Vicente do Mar and home to Baiona. Throughout, you’ll have 24/7 assistance for routing questions and local tips, plus options to add provisioning, a skipper, or water toys on request.
Day 1 – Saturday | Baiona Arrival
Step aboard at Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona at 17:00. After the briefing, enjoy Baiona’s waterfront promenade and the medieval walls of Monterreal Castle. Overnight onboard at the marina, with restaurants and tapas bars steps away.
Day 2 – Sunday | Baiona → Cíes Islands (10 nm | ~2 hrs)
Ease into the week with a relaxed hop to the Cíes. Drop anchor in the national park and spend the day between Playa de Rodas’ powdery sands and easy hiking trails. Snorkel in clear shallows and savor a quiet night at anchor beneath an immense canopy of stars.
Day 3 – Monday | Cíes → Vilagarcía de Arousa (25 nm | ~5 hrs)
A longer but straightforward passage north opens into the Ría de Arousa. Moor at Vilagarcía’s marina and stroll the seafront for sunset views. The town’s easygoing pace is perfect for a tapas crawl or an early night to recharge.
Day 4 – Tuesday | Vilagarcía → Cambados (6 nm | ~1 hr)
A short morning sail brings you to Cambados, Albariño’s elegant capital. Book a vineyard visit and tasting near the storied Plaza de Fefiñáns, then wander granite lanes lined with noble houses. Pair shellfish with crisp whites and return to the marina for a restful night.
Day 5 – Wednesday | Cambados → Illa de Arousa (5 nm | ~1 hr)
Drift to Illa de Arousa for a day of beach-hopping and paddle-friendly coves. Anchor off a sandy crescent and enjoy swims, SUP sessions, or a dinghy ride to a fishing hamlet for a late lunch. Sunset paints the lagoon calm a warm gold.
Day 6 – Thursday | Illa de Arousa → San Vicente do Mar (18 nm | ~3.5 hrs)
Track the coast south to San Vicente do Mar, a quiet outpost with boardwalk paths skirting the sea. Swim in clear water and dine on razor clams or percebes at a simple marisquería. Overnight in the marina with the Atlantic murmuring just beyond the breakwater.
Day 7 – Friday | San Vicente → Baiona (30 nm | ~6 hrs)
A purposeful return leg carries you back to Baiona by 17:00 for refueling and check-out. Celebrate the week’s highlights over a final onboard toast in the marina. Overnight remains available until Saturday 08:00.
