Trogir, CroatiaCroatia's stunning Dalmatian coast is home to the medieval town of Trogir. Trogir is the ideal day trip destination from Split, Sibenik, or Zadar due to its small size. Trogir is a rather small city. The entire town can be explored on foot in well under an hour. When we came for the day, we traversed the streets many times to take in the stunning stone structures. You may see all the main attractions, savor a few leisurely lunches, and take a ton of pictures on a day trip to Trogir. One of the most stunning destinations in Croatia and one of the simplest day trips from Split is Trogir. You must include it on your agenda for the nation.
Just a few kilometers north of Split, Trogir is an actual island that is connected to the mainland by bridges. Due to its exquisite Venetian style, Trogir's old town has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trogir, along with many other coastal towns in Croatia, served as the setting for the city of Qarth in the Game of Thrones television series. You will undoubtedly fall in love with this hidden gem of a town since it is so lovely. Simply taking a stroll through Trogir's streets is the greatest thing to do there. Explore the many modest shops that line the streets, take in the stunning stone architecture, and linger in the bustling squares. Trogir is so little that it is impossible to get lost, so you can take your time taking in all the charming little streets and exquisite structures. Even better, take a walking tour with a guide to learn about the fascinating town's history as you take in the main attractions. If we can, we always take a walking tour because it is the best way to learn about an area, especially if your guide is knowledgeable.
Brac & Solta Tour • Attractions: Murvica beach, War tunnel, Milna town, Sunken ship • Duration: 9 hours • Accessories suggested for this tour: Sunscreen, Sunglasses, towels, water, camera • Recommended for: People who like to avoid crowds, enjoy relaxation sunbathing and swimmingThe Brac and Solta boat trip is intended for people who enjoy the sun. The majority of your day will be spent swimming at several beaches and bays. Bring sunglasses and apply plenty of sunblock before embarking on this boat journey, is our best advice.
At 9:00, the captain will take you up at the designated location. On the island of Brac, Milna, is where we will arrive after a leisurely 45-minute ride. Our first trip of the day is going to be this little, peaceful town. There aren't many attractions for sightseeing in Milna. homes made of stone with red roofing and green wooden windows. A stunning little church called "Gospe od Blagovijesti" was built in the center by Inacije Macanovi, a fellow native of Trogir. It has a classic Dalmatian infrastructure, but that's precisely why we adore it. A charming little harbor with a Dalmatian sound. Nothing but the murmured murmurs of locals drinking their morning coffee and the click of flip-flops down the Riva. Of course, we're going to join them for coffee. and their "Fjaka" mentality. Even if you are unaware of what fjaka is, you will be there in due time. You can also go down the riva to stretch your legs. We are prepared to continue traveling after consuming our morning coffee.
The highlight of the day will be where we go next. On the southern part of the island of Brac, there is a beach called Murvica. Due to the steep terrain, getting there by land is challenging. As a result, unlike on crowded public beaches, you will enjoy your privacy on this beach. Without a doubt, one of our faves is this golden beach. You can see the ocean floor without snorkels because the water is so clear. Nevertheless, we'll give you a pair. To properly capture the beauty, a camera is required. Prepare for our third stop of the day once you've recharged your batteries in the sun. war's covert tunnels. This enigmatic location, a legacy from Jugoslavia, was formerly a covert military installation. They were mostly employed as military ships and submarine hideouts. However, the Tarzan rope is the major reason we are at this location. The local fishermen rigged up a rope in the tunnel's center so they could cross from one side to the other. For us, it's a way to enjoy ourselves by swinging around and diving into the water. Our Tarzan exercises should be completed by the time it is roughly time for lunch. On the Solta island, we have selected Stomorska village for this.
Our boat will be moored directly in front of the eatery. You will be drawn in by the aroma of delicious domestic food. It is challenging to resist. We'll go for our final swim of the day in Necujam Bay following lunch. The largest bay on the island of Solta is Necujam Bay. And a minor surprise can be found at the bay's final corner. The silhouette of the sinking wooden ship is visible just below the surface. Excellent snorkeling location, and if you have a GoPro, your pals at home will be astonished by your titanic-style images. After our swim at Necujam Bay is over, it's time to return home. We will arrive at our original starting place from the morning in just 30 minutes. Except that after this fantastic adventure, we shall return richer. Swimming, rope swinging, snorkeling, and sampling dalmatian cuisine at Milna. You are not required to believe us. Put it to the test. But rely on us regarding the sunblock.
