In this travel guide, we'll cover everything you need to know about Sakarun Beach on Dugi Otok. In addition, we show you incredible photos, give you insider information, and offer you the best places to stay in the area.
Dugi Otok Island is suitable for a relaxing vacation. Because, in addition to the Sakarun beach, the Telascica Nature Park and the Kornati Islands are among the many bays and attractions to be discovered. Day trips from Zadar to Sakarun Beach are also available if you are not staying on Dugi Otok. There are two options for getting to the island: driving yourself or booking a guided excursion.
Sakarun Beach is not only the most popular tourist attraction on the island of Dugi Otok, but it is also a favorite destination for visitors from Zadar. Visitors from this region visit on a daily basis to enjoy one of Croatia's most stunning sandy beaches. Despite this, the beach has remained relatively unaffected by mainstream tourist until recently. Individualists and those seeking peace and quiet are among the visitors, who appreciate the incredible ambience of the sandy beach. Sakarun is, without a doubt, a true paradise. The fine white sand and Caribbean turquoise blue colors are absolutely one-of-a-kind, and a visit is a must-do on any Croatia vacation. Sailors also enjoy this unique beach and frequently dock there. Because this area is so remote and there are no hotels nearby, swimming in this magnificent spot is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a true insider tip for sailors.
The roughly 800-meter-long bay provides ample area for sun-seeking beachgoers. The gorgeous coastline is lined with Mediterranean-scented pine groves that give nice shade, especially in the summer. Families with children go to this sandy beach in particular. The little ones can splash around in the sea and play in the sand as they wish because the slope is extremely gentle. Although Sakarun sits on the open sea, the lengthy bay protects it from the elements, ensuring that water temperatures are usually good.CONFIDENTIAL DATA PROTECTION AND ONLINE PAYMENT SECURITY
