Description
Not every sailing week needs long distances and late nights. This route is built for guests who want the Ionian at its gentlest: short sailing legs, calm anchorages, family-friendly waters, and small islands that still feel wonderfully untouched. Departing from Lefkas Marina, you spend 7 nights aboard a Lagoon 51 catamaran with a professional skipper handling navigation and mooring and a hostess/cook supporting onboard comfort and light meal preparation. It’s the ideal formula for families, couples, and groups who want a private yacht holiday with genuine relaxation at the center of every day.
The Ionian Sea is perfect for this style of week. Sheltered waters mean smoother cruising, and the distance between destinations is just enough to enjoy sailing without feeling like you are “on the move” all the time. Your skipper tailors each day based on the weather and the group’s mood - choosing swim bays for clarity and shelter, timing arrivals to avoid the busiest moments, and recommending tavernas and village stops that match your style. You keep the freedom and privacy of your own yacht, while the crew makes the experience feel effortless from start to finish.
About our service in Lefkada and the quiet island zone
Your check-in at Lefkas Marina includes a clear yacht orientation, safety briefing, and a route overview designed to help you visualize the whole week. The skipper manages all sailing operations, anchoring, mooring, and daily checks, while the hostess supports comfort and guest assistance onboard. Navigation charts, pilot books, and Ionian guides are used to plan the best daily routes, and you have 24/7 technical and emergency support throughout the charter. Linens, towels, galley equipment, and essential amenities are included, with optional add-ons such as chef upgrade, Wi-Fi, SUPs, and early check-in available on request.
Day 1 - Embarkation at Marina Lefkas (17:00)
Arrive at 17:00, settle into your cabins, and meet your crew. After the briefing and orientation, the first evening is deliberately easy. Lefkas Town offers a gentle start with a waterfront walk and a relaxed dinner ashore, or you can simply enjoy your first sunset onboard while the marina atmosphere buzzes quietly around you.
Day 2 - Lefkas to Meganisi (Spartochori and Abelike)
A 2-hour cruise brings you to Meganisi, where the day is shaped around calm water and simple pleasures. Start with swimming and snorkeling in Abelike Bay, a sheltered spot with clear blue water that feels made for floating. Later, head to Spartochori, a hilltop village known for panoramic views and unforgettable sunsets. The evening here feels peaceful and local, with tavernas and viewpoints that make you glad you chose a slower route.
Day 3 - Meganisi to Kastos
Cruise 2-3 hours to Kastos, a small island with a wonderfully laid-back rhythm. It’s the type of place where beach time is unhurried, the water stays inviting all day, and the evening feels simple and authentic. Enjoy snorkeling spots and quiet coves, then spend the night near the island’s only village, where dining ashore feels intimate and relaxed.
Day 4 - Kastos to Kalamos (Porto Leone swim stop)
A short 2-hour sail takes you to Kalamos, with time to include a swim stop at Porto Leone. Here the water invites long swims and slow sunbathing, and the anchorage feels comfortably sheltered. In the evening, Kalamos village offers traditional charm without the crowds - an ideal night for guests who want to hear the sea more than the nightlife.
Day 5 - Kalamos to Ithaca (Frikes or Kioni)
Sail 3-4 hours to northern Ithaca, choosing Frikes or Kioni depending on conditions and mood. Both offer classic Ionian village atmosphere: small waterfront tavernas, pebbled beaches, and gentle evenings. Ithaca’s charm is subtle - it grows on you through slow walks, quiet bays, and meals that run longer than you planned because the view is too good to leave.
Day 6 - Ithaca to Nydri (Lefkada) with Skorpios swim stops
Cruise 3-4 hours back toward Lefkada, with time for swim stops near Skorpios depending on weather and timing. Arrive in Nydri for a more vibrant evening: shops, restaurants, and a lively waterfront that offers a fun contrast to the quieter nights earlier in the week. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a bit of buzz without sacrificing comfort.
Day 7 - Nydri to Lefkas Marina
A short 2-hour sail returns you to Lefkas Marina for your final night. The day is deliberately unhurried - time for one last swim, one last lounge moment on deck, and a smooth arrival. Spend the final evening onboard or walk into town for a final meal ashore to celebrate a week of calm, clear-water cruising.
Day 8 - Disembarkation at 09:00
Disembark at 09:00 after breakfast and a smooth check-out, leaving with the kind of rest you only get from a week that is properly slow and perfectly managed.
