Sailing Yacht
Impression 40
2016
Fully Operational
Many individuals believe that becoming a yacht owner is merely a pipe dream. Wouldn't it be wonderful to cruise the seas with your family or friends on your own boat, visiting lovely bays, islands, and gorgeous areas where you could discover virgin nature or locate your "own" bay to relax in, forgetting about your everyday concerns and devoting your time to those you love?
Why haven't you already considered how to become a yacht owner? Because of the high expenses of production and maintenance? Because of berthing fees, insurance, and other costs? Or simply because you lack the necessary experience to engage in such an investment? We frequently fantasize about relocating and getting away from it all. The first step toward realizing a dream is to get in touch with us. It isn't difficult; give it a shot!
About ManufacturerElan is a Slovenian firm based in Begunje na Gorenjskem that specializes in athletic products production. Skis and snowboards are the company's most well-known products. Other items include sailboats ranging in length from 30 to 50 feet (9 to 15 meters), motor yachts, clothes (primarily sportswear), and sports facility equipment. Ingemar Stenmark, a Swedish alpine skier, won three straight World Cup overall titles on Elan skis in the late 1970s, bringing the brand to greater prominence. Since 1978, the firm has also produced license-built DG gliders.
New exteriorThe modernized deck of the I40 is a sight to behold. The new vertical transom provides additional cockpit room, a more modern appearance, and a spacious bathing platform - the size of which decides whether the transom is enclosed or has a more open feel. A grill, a fridge, or a sink can be added to the installation of two aft storage boxes. The classic Elan Impression transom seats, which are always occupied first by an excited crew, continue to reign supreme!
The practical steering wheels are composed of light composite, and the steering pedestals allow for 9′′ electronics. Moving about the cockpit and controlling the winches is a breeze, as is walking past the wide, fold-down table with drink containers. Thanks to the integrated railing and cupholders, the table was designed to be hospitable when docked and practical when sailing.
New interiorFew companies can match a company's level of expertise in woodworking and carpentry, which spans over seventy years. Elan's artisans have always been miles ahead of the competition, and their work on the new Impression 40 pushes the envelope even further. Iroko wood veneer is used for the interior furniture, which is then finished with actual iroko wood. Iroko (also known as African teak) is a beautiful and long-lasting wood that, when coupled with clever design and location, creates a genuinely unique interior. All passengers will enjoy the wide and light saloon, and the galley with a 130 l front-opening fridge will make cruising easy. The I40 may be tailored to meet any purpose thanks to its four alternative cabin layout variants.
