Weekly Bareboat Bavaria Cruiser 51 – Saronic Gulf from Alimos Marina, Athens

Begin from Alimos Marina with everything close at hand — provisioning markets, chandlers, fuel, and waterfront eateries — then chart an independent course through the sheltered Saronic Gulf. Here, distances are short, anchorages are well-protected, and each day offers an easy blend of culture, swimming, and relaxed line handling. This is a bareboat made for families or crews who want smooth passages, postcard towns, and flexible choices. Saturday 17:00 embarkation sets an unhurried tone, while Friday night onboard before the 09:00 checkout completes a full and comfortable week on the water.

About Our Service in the Saronic

We support your independence with practical expertise: a thorough technical handover, safety walkthrough, and route briefing that includes weather patterns, harbor tips, and local recommendations. The Saronic circuit remains adaptable — adjust pace, swap a harbor night for a quiet cove, or add a lunch stop where the water turns that irresistible Aegean blue. Our team stays on call for guidance so you can focus on easy sailing and everyday delights ashore.

Day 1 - Saturday: Alimos Marina → Perdika (Aegina)
Cast off after provisioning and the safety briefing. Perdika’s small harbor lines up classic fish tavernas facing the sea and the islet of Moni. Dine ashore or keep it simple onboard, then enjoy a gentle first night at anchor.

Day 2 - Sunday: Perdika → Poros
Take a morning dip or dinghy across to Moni’s clear-water bays before a short sail to Poros. The neoclassical waterfront forms a stunning amphitheater around the harbor. Sunset from the clocktower is a rite of passage. The town’s lanes, bakeries, and gelato shops make lingering irresistible.

Day 3 - Monday: Poros → Spetses
A longer but rewarding hop leads to Spetses, a stylish island where horse-drawn carriages still clip-clop along the promenade. Visit the Bouboulina Museum for a taste of naval history, then follow waterfront strolls with dinner at the old harbor — a lively scene with elegant mansions as a backdrop.

Day 4 - Tuesday: Spetses → Kyparissi (Peloponnese)
Cross to the mainland’s dramatic limestone amphitheater and the secluded village of Kyparissi. Turquoise water, quiet beaches, and olive groves set the mood for a slower day. Swim, read, or nap in the shade before a sky full of stars over a calm anchorage.

Day 5 - Wednesday: Kyparissi → Agioi Anargyroi (Spetses)
Ease back to Spetses for a day of simple pleasures in one of its most beautiful bays. Snorkel over rock formations, paddle along the cliffs, and explore small sea caves. It’s a classic Saronic blend of gentle sailing and generous downtime.

Day 6 - Thursday: Spetses → Hydra → Russian Bay (Poros)
Arrive early to Hydra, a car-free jewel where polished stone mansions rise from a horseshoe harbor. Browse galleries, sip espresso by the water, and watch working donkeys carry supplies through narrow lanes. Then continue to Russian Bay on Poros — sheltered, pine-framed, and perfect for a sunset swim before dinner aboard.

Day 7 - Friday: Russian Bay → Aponisos (Agistri) → Alimos Marina
Pause at Aponisos, a lagoon-like cove famed for its electric blues and simple beach taverna. After lunch and a last snorkel, set a comfortable course for Athens. By evening, tie up at Alimos, settle formalities, and savor a final night in your floating home.

About Our Yacht – Bavaria Cruiser 51 (2019)

At 15.55 m LOA with a 4.67 m beam, the Bavaria Cruiser 51 is exactly the right size for a generous family charter. The full-batten mainsail rewards trim-savvy skippers, while the 75 HP engine turns close-quarters maneuvering into a relaxed exercise. With 300 L of fuel and 560 L of water, the boat supports multi-day autonomy — ideal when you prefer to anchor off beaches like Aponisos or spend two nights in the Spetses area without rushing back to services.

Inside, five cabins accommodate up to eleven people. The saloon’s abundant natural light and the practical linear galley create an easy social core, while the plentiful stowage keeps cabins uncluttered. On deck, the cockpit is a genuine living room: comfortable seating, a large folding table, twin helms for clear sightlines, and an easy transom platform that makes swim stops smooth for kids and adults alike. Standard inclusions comprise linen, towels, dinghy, and safety equipment, with optional extras such as an outboard, paddleboards, hostess, skipper, airport transfers, or early check-in available on request.

Why Choose This Saronic Bareboat

The Saronic route concentrates the pleasures of Greek island cruising into short, confidence-building passages. It’s the perfect playground for first-time Aegean sailors and mixed-experience crews who appreciate a low-stress environment without sacrificing character. Each stop contrasts with the last — working harbors, elegant promenades, silent coves, and car-free Hydra — yet logistics remain simple and time-efficient thanks to the loop back to Athens. Add the comfort and capability of a late-model Bavaria Cruiser 51, and you have a self-directed holiday that feels both effortless and deeply memorable.

Secure your week to enjoy warm-water swimming, culture-rich harbors, and laid-back sailing days shaped entirely by your preferences. With our local support always within reach and the independence that only a bareboat can offer, the Saronic Gulf becomes a spacious, salt-scented extension of your living room for seven unhurried days.
