Description

Begin your 14-day sailing odyssey from the Port of Abdera and voyage through the spectacular North Aegean and the pristine coastlines of Halkidiki. This extended bareboat charter combines ancient island culture, wild nature, luxury marina visits, and tranquil beaches—from Samothrace and Lemnos to the hidden gems of Sithonia and Thassos. A journey designed for true explorers seeking both relaxation and immersion.

Day 1: Abdera to Samothrace (Kamariotissa)

Depart from Abdera and enjoy a mid-day swim stop in a quiet bay before reaching Kamariotissa, Samothrace’s main port. Explore the village’s charming streets and settle in for your first peaceful night on board, surrounded by the island’s mystical aura.

Day 2: Discovering Samothrace

Spend the day exploring Samothrace’s rugged interior. Hike to the Vathres natural pools hidden in dense forests, visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods, or relax on wild beaches accessible only by boat. Return to Kamariotissa for the evening.

Day 3: Samothrace to Lemnos

Begin your sail towards Lemnos, pausing en route for a swim in an untouched cove. Dock at Myrina, the island’s scenic capital, where you can explore its cobblestone lanes, hilltop castle, and lively waterfront. Overnight onboard at the harbor.

Day 4: Exploring Lemnos

Delve into the island’s unique heritage with visits to the Archaeological Site of Poliochni and sandy beaches like Keros or Plati. Sample local wines or enjoy a seaside meal before spending a second night docked in Myrina.

Day 5: Lemnos to Porto Koufo (Halkidiki)

Cross the Aegean to Porto Koufo, a breathtaking natural harbor carved into Sithonia’s cliffs. Stop along the way to swim in turquoise waters. Porto Koufo offers serene anchorage and unforgettable sunset views.

Day 6: Porto Koufo to Nikiti via Porto Carras and Marmaras

Sail north along Sithonia’s dramatic coast. Visit Porto Carras and its luxury marina before cruising past Neos Marmaras and anchoring at Nikiti. Enjoy its mix of charming old town and sandy shores. Overnight onboard.

Day 7: Diaporos Island and Vourvourou

Spend a day navigating the pristine waters surrounding Diaporos Island. Drop anchor at Panagia Bay for swimming and snorkeling. Explore nearby Vourvourou with its emerald coves and pine-fringed inlets. Overnight anchorage under the stars.

Day 8: Panagia Bay to Pyrgadikia

Continue to Pyrgadikia, a small fishing village known for fresh seafood and tranquil beaches. Along the way, stop at hidden bays for swims and sunbathing. Spend the evening enjoying the quiet charm of this seaside settlement.

Day 9: Pyrgadikia to Ammouliani or Ouranoupolis

Today’s route leads to Ammouliani, an idyllic island with golden beaches, or Ouranoupolis, gateway to Mount Athos. Both destinations offer opportunities for relaxed village exploration and evening waterfront dining. Overnight onboard.

Day 10: Ammouliani to Limenaria (Thassos)

Make your way to Limenaria on Thassos, stopping for a swim en route in the serene Aegean. Explore Palataki and the old port, then enjoy local specialties like grilled octopus in a seaside taverna. Overnight in Limenaria.

Day 11: Exploring Southwestern Thassos

Discover southern Thassos’s best beaches—Potos, Trypiti, Metalleia—or venture inland to traditional villages. Enjoy leisurely swimming, dining, and shopping before another restful night on the yacht.

Day 12: Limenaria to Limenas via Aliki Bay

Cruise northward, stopping at Aliki Bay with its ancient marble quarries and stunning beach. Dock in Limenas to visit the island’s ancient theater, archaeological museum, and bustling town center. Overnight onboard in Limenas.

Day 13: Free Day in Thassos

Enjoy a relaxed day to revisit favorite beaches like Marble Beach or Golden Beach. Alternatively, explore Thassos’s green hinterlands and mountain villages. Prepare for the final leg of your unforgettable journey.

Day 14: Limenas to Abdera
