Description
Hurghada – Launch point to Egypt’s blue-water sanctuaries
From Hurghada Marina’s efficient docks and friendly bustle, the route arcs south to offshore atolls where open-ocean life gathers. Expect towering walls, glass-clear visibility and the kind of pelagic encounters divers plan their year around.
About our service in Hurghada and the Southern Offshore Reefs
Your crewed charter fuses professional dive operations with hotel-level care. The team handles permits, routing and safety briefings, while the hospitality crew keeps meals timely and cabins immaculate. Requests for private guiding, nitrox or rental sets are accommodated with ease so you can focus on the water.
Day 1 – Welcome aboard
Board after 16:00 for orientation, cabin settle-in and dinner at the marina. The yacht overnights in port, leaving you rested for the southbound run.
Day 2 – Ras Disha, Salem Express and Middle Reef
A sandy-slope check dive at Ras Disha dials in buoyancy. The mood deepens at the Salem Express, approached with care and respect. Afternoon brings Middle Reef’s soft coral drifts and bright macro subjects, then an easy steam south.
Day 3 – Brothers Islands immersion
Big Brother South brims with gorgonians and swirling reef fish. The Numidia wreck clings to the wall like sculpture, while Little Brother’s currents tempt hammerheads and barracuda to sweep the blue. It is raw Red Sea energy with impeccable safety management.
Day 4 – Daedalus North, East and South
Daedalus rises like a fortress from deep water. Schooling hammerheads patrol the northern drop-off; turtles and trevallies grace the eastern face; anthias pour over the south plateau. In spring and summer, keep watch for manta arcs overhead.
Day 5 – Daedalus west and pinnacles
Another full day rewards patience with wide-angle vistas, hidden caverns and pelagic fly-bys. Glass visibility and blue horizons deliver that rare sense of true offshore wilderness.
Day 6 – Elphinstone and Marsa Alam
Dawn on Elphinstone’s north and south plateaus brings fast life and steep color. Oceanic whitetips may circle with quiet confidence while soft corals ripple in the flow. Afternoon in Marsa Alam slows the pace for macro detail and a night dive that lights the reef in new tones.
Day 7 – Panorama Reef and El Mina wreck
Back toward Hurghada, Panorama Reef supplies a triumphant final reef dive before the accessible El Mina wreck closes the logbook with relaxed exploration. Return aboard for sunset and an easy run to port.
Day 8 – Port Ghalib check-out
Breakfast then disembark by 10:00 at Port Ghalib with orderly transfers and a week of blue-water memories.
