Sri Lanka is a wonderful destination for those interested in participating in and enjoying the thrilling sport of inland and deep sea fishing. Inland fishing for Barramundi and Mangrove Jack (both highly sought after sport fish).

Deep sea fishing, like all water-based activities in Sri Lanka, is seasonal, with access to the Western and Southern shores only available from November to April. Take a purpose-built boat out to sea to try your hand at trolling. We provide all necessary equipment for the best Sri Lanka fishing vacations. Fishing trips can be booked as day trips or as part of a longer program.

This excursion allows you to try your hand at deep sea fishing or to test your patience and strength while waiting for the big catch! We fish both trolling and bottom fishing. Moving boats pull one or more fishing lines or nets behind them to give a more realistic and lifelike target as bait while trolling. Trolling is very effective in the early morning hours. Your guide will be on hand to help you with your catch.

You don't have a lot of fishing experience? No worries. Our experienced fisherman would, of course, be pleased to assist and advise you on board. If you admire the diversity of fish and the sea but are not interested in fishing, here is the spot for you.

We'll get together at 6 a.m. You will be escorted to the boat after being briefed on the excursion and safety procedures at our center., and this fishing excursion usually takes place during the early morning hours and lasts around 2-3 hours.

Our boat is an 23 feet Fibreglass boat with a canopy and a 40 hp outboard motor. The number of passengers onboard will be strictly limited to the seating capacity.It can carry a maximum of 10 persons. Each customer will be given a lifejacket, which must be worn throughout the tour. Clients must follow all safety instructions given by the crew.
