Deskripsi

Spend your holiday on one of Croatia's luxury sailing yachts! We have a selection of custom luxury yachts for charter in Croatia that are only a year or two old. You can charter a luxury boat from a specific place for a specific period of time. Luxury yacht charters can last up to three days, but most are rented for one or two weeks—the term "yасht сhаrtеr" is most commonly associated with a luxury crewed charter. Because, in this case, your boat is kippered (by a сарtаin), and a crew takes care of duties such as sailing and meal preparation aboard your luxury sailing or motor yacht. Luxury yacht Charters can include a variety of boats of various sizes that are suitable for a variety of occasions, including vacations and special events. So, depending on your desires and budget, you can tаilоr various aspects of your luxury уасht сhаrtеr, such as the boat, meals, and activities. Most chаrtеr dеtinаtiоn provide you the option of choosing anything from complete есluion to jеt-еt nightlife. Luxury large sailing yachts are a newcomer to Croatia and the world, but they have become extremely popular in recent years due to the pandemic, and as a result, they are sweeping the luxury charter market like no other form of vessel.

We have a large selection of gulets, sailboats, catamarans, yachts, motorboats, and an exclusive Luxury Mini Cruiser for sailing in Croatia, as well as many more options. Despite the fact that modern charter boats resemble floating cities, sailing retains an old-fashioned and magical quality. The following are some of the most often asked questions about renting a boat in Croatia.

Is it possible to rent a boat in Croatia? - Renting a boat is easy in Croatia, which is why yacht charter is so popular. You may rent a bareboat or skippered sailing charter in Croatia from any of the marinas.

Is a boat license required in Croatia? - You must have some sailing experience and a valid sailing license to enjoy an active sailing vacation. Your sailing license must demonstrate your competency and capacity to navigate the rental boat. Another option is to lease a yacht with a skipper.

Is a boat license required to rent a boat in Croatia? - As long as you're not the one at the helm, you don't need to get a sailing and nautical navigation license. At least one person aboard the boat must have a valid license, according to Croatian law. If you don't want to hire a captain, you'll need a charter boat license.

What are the requirements for a bareboat charter? - It is a legal requirement in Croatia to have a skipper's license. The authorities have produced an official list of recognized licenses. The following is a list of qualifications recognized in Croatia that have been issued by various authorities around the world. Most charter firms will require you to have a qualification that is on the list in addition to a VHF license. Anyone from any country, particularly European countries, can have any of the qualifications on the list, and you can skipper a bareboat even if you only have the most basic license specified if you also have adequate sailing experience.

When is it permissible to depart Croatian territorial seas for chartering? - Generally speaking, most charter firms do not allow chartering outside of Croatian territorial waters. If you intend to sail outside of Croatia's territorial waters, make an inquiry with the charter company so that they can prepare the necessary documentation and licenses. However, international permits come with additional fees, and you must submit to the Croatian customs office as well as the customs office of the country you wish to visit.

What is the security deposit? - The security deposit is a sum set aside during the reservation process, either in cash or by credit card, to cover any damage to the boat while it is being chartered. It's a security deposit that ensures you'll be held responsible for any harm you do. If no damages are discovered on the yacht or vessel used, the security deposit will be repaid in full at the conclusion of the chartering excursion.

What is the cost of Marinas and harbor?- Overnight docking in a marina can be expensive compared to other places, however this is likely due to Croatia's popularity as a sailing destination. In Croatia, marina berth charges are normally based on monohull overall length, while catamaran mooring fees are typically twice as expensive as monohull mooring fees. In general, pricing for a boat of roughly 43 feet run from 50 to 70 euros per day. The majority of anchorages and harbors, on the other hand, are free.

Is it possible to reserve a spot in a marina ahead of time? - Unfortunately, there is no way to reserve a marina or a parking spot in Croatia ahead of time. If you want to berth at a certain marina and you think it could be full, get there early, preferably before midday. During the off-season, however, docking and berthing are usually not a problem.

What does the charter fee cover? - The charter fee covers the vessel's rental, bed linens, safety and navigation equipment, dock fees for the vessel's departure and return locations, insurance, and VAT (all taxes). Bath/beach towels are available for an additional price, while some charter firms include them in the charter fee. Make certain to seek advice ahead of time.

When do you check in and when do you check out? - In peak season, check-in is usually after 17 hours, so you may be through with paperwork by mid-day but the boat will most likely be ready later that afternoon. During low season, the boat may be ready early, allowing for an earlier check-in. Check out is between 8 and 9 a.m. on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.

Is it feasible to rent the boat for a limited time? - Normally, a boat is chartered for a week from Saturday to Saturday, and chartering a boat for a shorter amount of time is not possible, especially during peak season. However, during low seasons, this may be possible, but you should be aware that even if you receive a short-term offer, you may be compelled to pay on a weekly basis.

Do I have to pay for the Skipper's food? - Yes, their meals are not included in the charter charge, so whether you're eating on the boat or at a restaurant, you must provide them with food. This does not, however, imply that you must bring them along every time you go out to eat. You can give them money to eat in typical restaurants and sort themselves out.

Can we bring our tiny children on board, and what can we do to ensure that they are safe? - Children can be welcomed on board with little extra planning and safety precautions. The type of boat is the first consideration, and a catamaran is highly recommended because it is more suitable for children. They have a lot of space inside, which means the kids will have lots of room to play, a fly deck, and it will be easy to get in and out of the water. The next step is to inquire with the yacht agency about the possibility of adding a child safety net. Most companies will do this for free if you notify them in advance, but some may demand a fee. The same is true for life vests, please check with your boat business to ensure you aren't being overcharged.

It's an unequaled method to appreciate the captivating beauty of Croatia's famous coastline and its 1000 islands.

A skippered charter is a common variation of a bareboat charter in which a professional skipper is hired to oversee all navigational and nautical aspects of the vessel. In general, the captain will accompany you to embarkation and remain onboard for the duration of your charter. Don't worry, they're professional and won't bother you or interrupt your time with family and friends. A skippered boat hire in Croatia is ideal for families, groups of friends, or couples of various sailing skills. Gulet charter Croatia with a captain entails renting a yacht and having a skipper accompany you on your charter vacation.

This type of vacation is ideal if you're just getting started and don't have enough confidence to handle the yacht on your own, don't have a valid sailing license, want to have a trusted captain on board throughout the voyage, or simply want to have a guide and relax while on vacation. Whatever the case may be, having a skipper onboard can greatly enhance your cruising vacation because he will be responsible for everything from the yacht's safety to all areas of sailing and navigation, including docking. So sit back, unwind, and prepare for a fantastic sailing vacation. You can pick how much time you want to spend sailing, lounging, or swimming each day as your skipper sails the yacht. You'll profit much from their insights due to their vast expertise and understanding of innumerable gorgeous islands and the Dalmatian coast.

• The advantages of having a captain on board

Skippers have years or decades of expertise in the charter sector, so they are familiar with most models and types of boats, ensuring the highest level of safety for you and your crew. In high season, for example, marinas may become overcrowded, and a skipper will know the best time to arrive at the marina to ensure you obtain a berth, and in the event of an emergency, they will be well-versed in how to handle the situation. They also have extensive knowledge of Croatian waters, so in addition to providing their nautical talents, a skipper may recommend gorgeous isolated Bays and anchorages off the usual route that will elude unmatched Mediterranean beauty. Skippers can provide you with unequalled information about the islands, the ocean, the winds, the best restaurants, weather forecasts, seabed conditions, and, most importantly, the best marinas to moor at near tourist destinations of interest to you. If you and your crew choose to anchor for the night, the skipper will recommend the safest and best marinas to dock at. Of course, you and your skipper can discuss your preferences for a sailing route or cruising location, and you can even work together to build an itinerary that meets your needs. In other words, they can provide as much or as little expert advice as you like.

You can hire a hostess to assist with keeping the boat clean, preparing simple Croatian food, and making valuable suggestions, depending on your personal needs and the size of your yacht. You must make certain that both the hostess and the skipper have their own berth or cabin onboard. Communicate your dining preferences with your skipper; feel free to invite them if you are dining out, however some may choose to retire to bed early after a hard day of sailing, in which case you might choose to pay their low-cost meal. You can additionally tip your skipper 15-20% of the skipper fee to express your gratitude for their exceptional services.

Skippers are courteous and experienced sailors who have a wealth of local expertise to ensure you get the most out of your sailing trip. They can be as discreet as you want them to be, and you are not obligated to include them in your actions if it makes you feel uncomfortable in any way. If you want to learn to sail, your skipper will gladly engage you as much or as little as you like in sailing the yacht. They take pleasure in passing on their knowledge, enthusiasm, and experience while ensuring that you have a pleasant and peaceful sailing trip. You must pay to moor each night at a harbor, marina, or mooring buoy in Croatia. However, there are several areas where you can moor for free and bring your dinghy ashore. The mooring charge is determined by the location and size of the yacht, and fuel is reasonably inexpensive, ranging from 100 to 150 Euros each week depending on the vessel's size.

National Park of Krka

Canyons and waterfalls don't seem to belong in the same sentence as sailing, sunbathing, or snorkeling. When it comes to summer vacations in Croatia, they go hand in hand. When visiting Krka National Park, the combination of salty and sweet water sensations is a fantastic fit. If you sail northwest from Split, you'll arrive in Ibenik, where the Krka River joins the Adriatic Sea.

Passing through the old St. Nicholas fortification, which has been guarding Ibenik since the 15th century, affords breathtaking vistas. Following that, one is treated to a spectacular perspective of St. Jacob's Cathedral, which is recognized by UNESCO as a world historic site. Now is the time to sail up the river, following its twists past the steep rock formations that form one of Croatia's most stunning canyons. When the bow of your gullet meets the waters of Prokljan Lake, the river excursion is over. Your captain will stay on the river and anchor the boat in front of Skradin's ancient town.

The Krka National Park can be reached by renting a bike or using a shuttle boat from here. This is where the mountain river Krka carved beautiful travertine barriers and a fantastic waterfall system by flowing through calcite stones. The area is rich in old mills, which showcase not only stunning scenery but also the traditional method of flour production. Those interested in cultural heritage may choose to go up the river to Visovac Island. At 1445, the Franciscans established themselves in this location. Visovac has remained a haven of serenity and prayer throughout the violent history of this region. On the other side, those who appreciate a good bite and a drink can linger in the park's core area and sample the local cuisine on offer. This is how we combine salty and sweet water in a single journey.

Dalmatian Paticada preparation-The celebration on your plate

Many individuals consider nutrition to be more than just an energy source. Some of them make an effort to make each of their meals a celebration. Gastronomy is an inescapable component of our major goal of offering amazing moments to our guests while sailing the Adriatic. All of the meals on our onboard menus are authentic and unique. The Dalmatian paticada would be one of them. It's about a dinner that was only served on our forefathers' plates on rare occasions like birthdays, weddings, Christmas, or other significant holidays.

Because there are as many recipes for Dalmatian paticada as there are grandmothers in Dalmatia, it's a little tricky to explain how to make it. While every chef has their own methods for producing this delicacy, here is the general explanation. Dalmatian paticada is created using beef silverside that has been marinated in a vinegar and wine mixture, as well as chopped onions and herbs. The longer the meat is marinated, the better the flavor and the tenderness of the meat. Bacon, garlic, and carrots are inserted into the meat after it has marinated for (at least) two days.

The paticada will be more flavorful as a result of this. The meat must now be lightly browned on all sides before being cooked for hours, until soft and tender and enveloped by a thick and wonderful sauce. Dalmatian paticada is eaten with potato dumplings, bringing together sweet, sour, and salty flavors in one dish. This delicacy dates back to ancient Greek and Roman periods, and it has been refined and improved over the ages in Dalmatia. Nowadays, it is a source of pride for every chef, and the recipe is passed down down the generations. May your sailing vacation in Dalmatia not end without a taste of paticada.

Authentic and pristine Croatia

When you return home with pleasant recollections of experiencing something unique and unlike any other destination, your visit to Croatia becomes even more valuable. There are a plethora of guidebooks on the market that will teach you about unique and remarkable locations. If you compare them, you'll notice that they all tell the same narrative. As a result, utilizing your skipper's local knowledge will enhance the value of your sailing holidays in Croatia. Not to mention the fact that you must trust them in the first place because they are in charge of your floating dwellings, and your life is literally in their hands.

• One of the places that should be on their lists of places to visit is Stončica bay at the island of Vis.

It's about a harbor with a gorgeous lighthouse on its cape that leads to a wonderful sandy beach on Vis' mainland. All winds except northerlies are well shielded in the harbor, and the anchor holds well. The bay's waters are clear and blue, but as you go closer to the beach, they turn green and yellow. A beach volleyball match sounds like a wonderful idea if you want to stretch your muscles after a day of leisurely sunbathing on your yacht's deck and pleasant swimming.

After a match in a nearby tavern, the winners enjoy all the glory, while the losers are about to pay for the drink. As the best comes last, an authentic meal at Stonica would be the cherry on top of your day. The tavern near the shore provides many memorable experiences. It is run by three brothers who divide the responsibilities among themselves. One is in charge of catching the fish, another is a winemaker, and the third is in charge of the fireplace and the other two brothers. Aside from the grilled catch of the day, the outstanding locally bred lamb on the grill is a must-try.

Start with homemade prut (Dalmatian air-dried ham) and salted sardines, then go on to risotto and finish with the griller tidbits mentioned before. Stonica's wine, as well as the vegetables and other ingredients offered, are all grown just behind the bar. The fact that there is no internet or mobile phone service signal at the bar is probably the best aspect of the narrative since it allows one to really appreciate the beauty of this bay.

The Agency may request from the Charterer or individual direct guest a special authorization, which must be given in a clear manner in order that certain personal information of the guest may be used for the promotional purposes of the Agency.

If the Charterer or the guest has given the authorization referred to in paragraph 4 of this Agreement, he or she may at any time withdraw the same authorization and shall inform the Agency thereof without a doubt (in writing to the address of the Agency's office: Split, Marasovića 67, Republic of Croatia or through the Agency's official mail address: info@mastercharter.com, which address is registered at the competent registration court of the Republic of Croatia).

The Agency shall immediately delete all personal data of guests which is no longer required for the execution of the agreed service, unless the retention of certain information is stipulated by law.

Based on good business practices and legal regulations, the Agency will make available to the Charterer any information that is necessary for the orderly and complete execution of the agreed service, that is which is necessary for the safest stay of guests in the country where the service is provided.

The Agency shall be at the Charterer's service at all times from the day of the conclusion of the agreement until the last day of the performed service.

The Agency will in any case do everything to make the stay of guests as safe and comfortable as possible.

The Charterer agrees to convey all relevant information provided by the Agency to the guests who will directly consume the agreed services, which are necessary for the safety of persons and property, as well as for compliance with all statutory obligations.

When performing the service, the guests are obliged to comply with all obligations, which are regulated by the terms for the provision of service on board the vessel, which are prescribed by the owner of each individual vessel, which conditions form an integral part of any individual agreement concluded by the Agency and the Charterer for a particular vessel.

During the negotiation, the Agency is obliged to inform the Charterer of all regulations of the terms for the provision of accommodation service on a vessel, and both parties are obliged to abide by the same regulations.

The navigation of the Vessel shall be conducted exclusively in the period between sunrise and sunset, and night time navigation is possible only if the security conditions allow it.

The charter fee in general includes 4 hours of navigation daily and if the Charterer demands a navigation longer than 4 hours daily, from the period in the before mentioned paragraph, the navigation shall be charged by the price list of the Vessel owner.

The Charterer may use the Vessel solely for the purposes of rest and recreation.

The navigation of the Vessel shall be conducted entirely within the territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia, in accordance with the agreement. For navigation outside of the territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia the Charterer is required to obtain an approval in written form from the Agency, and is required to bear all the administrative costs in accordance with that.

The Charterer may, before the start of the accommodation service, and before the start of the navigation, present the Agency or directly to the captain of the Vessel with a navigational plan, or present a suggestion of the course of the navigation to the captain of the boat.

The captain of the Vessel shall endeavor to meet the Charterers requests regarding the navigational route, unless that is not possible due to an objective reason (e.g., unfavorable weather forecast, the length of the navigation, etc.).

The Charterer acknowledges that all the decisions regarding the safety of the navigation are finally made by the captain of the Vessel, taking into account all of the suggestions from the Charterer.

The Charterer is required, before boarding the Vessel, to deliver or present to the Agency all the necessary documentation required for a legal star in the Republic of Croatia.

Prior to boarding the Vessel, the Charterer is required to inform the Agency with regard to any special dietary preferences required (e.g., vegetarian diet, kosher diet, halal diet etc.) or specific medical issues that may affect the safety of the guests.

For the duration of the navigation the Charterer must have all the necessary medications required for necessary treatment or prevention of any health problems and for that matter neither the owner nor the Agency bear no responsibility.

The Charterer is obligated to uphold all the safety regulations that are in effect aboard the Vessel, and is also obligated to refrain from all activities that evidently present a danger with regards to human health, or with regards to the safety of property and navigation, such as for example

• Obstructing the members of the crew (especially the Captain of the Vessel) in performing their duties; - using the additional equipment on the Vessel (e.g. rubber boat, water scooter, canoe, etc.) without the knowledge, or permission from the members of the crew; • Using the additional equipment aboard the Vessel contrary to the safety regulations, or consideration towards other persons or property; • Climbing onto the masts, the ropes, the netting, the chains, etc.; • Provoking or participating in physical altercations aboard the Vessel; • Taking illicit substances; - • Prostitution; • Smoking within the internal area of the Vessel; • Jumping into the sea from the Vessel during navigation; • Staying in the external area of the Vessel during severe weather (if necessary, it is allowed to move in the external area of the Vessel at one’s own risk and responsibility); • Entry into the internal area of the Vessel immediately after coming aboard form the sea (due to some parts of the floor being slippery when wet); • All other activities or conditions which pose an obvious danger to the safety and health of people, to property, and which represent a violation of public order and peace and public morals

The Captain may at any time order a disembarkation and a cessation of the navigation if the Guests knowingly violate the laws and other regulations of the Republic of Croatia (e.g. taking illicit substances, prostitution, continuous disturbance of the public peace and order …).

If determined that the Charterer knowingly violates the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and is intentionally ignoring the safety standards, and causing damage to property, the result of which is the cessation of the accommodation service on board the Vessel, the Agency is not required to refund the Charterer for the unused amount of the accommodation.

The Charterer is responsible for all the damages made to persons or property for which the Charterer is culpable, and is obligated to make compensation for damages before disembarking the Vessel.

The Agency or the owner are not responsible for damages suffered by the Charterer which are a result of extreme activities aboard the Vessel (e.g. jumping from the Vessel into the sea), or a result of using the additional equipment that the Vessel comes equipped with (e.g. water skis, water scooter, diving equipment, rubber boat with outboard engine etc.).

The Vessel can only be boarded by persons whose names are on the Charterer's guest list, and in a number identical to the number of guests on the list, which is in compliance with the number of guests in accordance with the relevant registration regulations of the Republic of Croatia

It is not possible to subsequently add new guests to the Charterer's guest list, unless it was arranged with the agency with which the Charterer has concluded the accommodation service agreement.

The Captain may, upon the request made by the Charterer, allow coming aboard the Vessel of additional persons, not on the Charterer's guest list, but only for the duration of the Vessel being berthed in the harbor

If there are children among the Guests, the parents or guardians are cautioned to take additional and special care of them.

The Guests or guardians, eventually, hire themselves persons responsible for taking care of the children (babysitters).

The Guests are especially warned that the crew of the Vessel have no duty to guard, or care for the Guests’ children.

Pets are allowed only with the Agency's prior approval, and the Charterer is required to take the necessary attention and care in case of their presence.

The Agency shall make the Vessel available to the Charterer at the exact time and place agreed upon.

In case of delay in delivery of the Vessel for a period of up to 24 hours, the Agency shall refund the unused amount received for the accommodation services, or, if the Charterer agrees, shall extend the provision of the services to the Charterer according to the duration of the delay. In this case, the Charterer shall not be entitled to a full refund.

In case of delay in delivery of the Vessel for a period between 24 and 48 hours, the Agency shall refund the entire amount received for the accommodation services aboard the Vessel, unless the Charterer agrees to a fulfilment of contract with a price reduction for the unused amount, or with the extension in the provision of the services according to the duration of the delay.

If the Vessel becomes unavailable, after the Charterer has arrived on board, and within a period no longer than 24 hours, due to reasons the Charterer is not accountable for, the Agency shall refund the unused amount for the time lost, or offer the Charterer to prolong the accommodation aboard the Vessel according to the duration of the delay, or provide the Charterer with an alternative vessel of equal or higher quality.

If the Vessel becomes unavailable, after delivery and for a period longer than 24 hours, due to reasons the Charterer is not accountable for, the Agency shall refund the Charterer the unused amount for the time lost, and pay the Charterer a reasonable amount necessary for accommodation, food and transportation costs to reach the agreed disembarkation site.

The Agency may be exempted from refunding in cases described in paragraphs 2., 4., and 5., if the Agency provides the Charterer with an alternative vessel of the same characteristics regarding quality, comfortability, navigational capacities, and equipment and price that matches the Vessel, or if the Agency offers the Charterer a new accommodation arrangement as soon as possible in the current or in the following season.

Aside from the right to a refund, the Charterer is entitled to a compensation for damages if the damage was a result of the actions by the owner or the members of the Vessel’s crew.

In case of any irregularities regarding the accommodation service, the Charterer is required to immediately report the problem to the Agency via e-mail, or if the e-mail communication is not possible, by telephone.

The Agency is required to immediately take into consideration the Charterer’s complaint and and endeavor to resolve it in the shortest possible time depending on the nature of the objection itself.

The Agency shall be liable to the Charterer solely within the scope of its obligations and duties.

The Agency, all of the time, has a contracted professional liability insurance policy as well as a bail insurance policy, and is obliged to present them at the request of the Charterer.

These Terms will be permanently publicly available on the Agency's web pages and it is considered that individual Charterer, at the time of the conclusion of the agreement, met and accepted them, and thus become an integral part of individual specific agreement.

The Agency may enter into an agreement or a special contract with the Client under which certain relations prescribed by these General Terms and Conditions may be regulated differently.
