History of this Medieval little town reaches back as far as the 14th century. The oldest operating salt works in the world still serve as a testament to its former value as a "salt city." Ston is a small fishing town that offers some of Croatia's best seafood. Oysters and mussel beds are highly regarded in Ston Bay.
