While cars are not allowed on the island, you'll encounter an abundance of wildlife, from hares and pheasants to tall evergreen pines and brambles. Continuing on, you'll arrive at the beautiful Corfu town, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site and a favorite destination for tourists. the coastal Mon Repos Estate, a magnificent 25.8-hectare botanical garden, you can immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters reflecting the lush forest. Alternatively, if you wish, we can take you by dinghy to the stone "ponte of the queen" to visit Mon Repos palace, which now houses the Palaiopolis Museum, or you can leisurely stroll around the garden with its astounding collection of 2,000 plant species and archaeological ruins. Mon Repos, located in the area of Palaiopolis, the ancient town of Corfu, once exclusively accommodated lords and kings, remaining inaccessible to ordinary people. However, in 1991, after extensive court litigations and the fervent demands of the Corfiots, Mon Repos was rightfully transferred to the Municipality of Corfu and is now open to everyone to explore and enjoy.

As we sail along the lush coastline, we will soon arrive at Pontikonissi, the iconic symbol of Corfu. This enchanting miniature island is like a poetic gem, concealed within its abundant vegetation is a small and charming Byzantine monastery. Just across from it, we'll find the elegant white monastery of Panayia Vlahernon, gracefully connected to the shore by a long and narrow pier, adding to the area's famous picturesque scene.

Our journey continues as we make our way back to our starting point, and here, something unexpected awaits – a taste of modernity. Surprisingly, this renowned spot in Greece has become a favorite place for airplane spotting, as it sits remarkably close to the flight path of Corfu's international airport. From Pontikonissi, guests can almost feel as if they can reach out and touch the aircraft as they gracefully land on the magical island of Corfu. It's a unique and captivating experience that adds a touch of contemporary allure to this otherwise serene and timeless destination.

The Beaufort 16, a stunning Ketch model sailing yacht, was originally constructed in 1974. However, in 2001, it underwent a significant rebuilding process, and then in 2018, it received its last refit, ensuring it remains in excellent condition. Designed by the renowned J.J. Herbulot, this yacht boasts impressive specifications, with a length overall (LOA) of 15.80 meters, a beam (width) of 4.40 meters, and a draft (depth) of 2.20 meters. Powered by a robust YANMAR 140HP engine and supported by a 10KVA generator, the Beaufort 16 can cruise comfortably at 8 knots and reach a maximum speed of 9.5 knots for swifter passages. Its deck is adorned with elegant teak material, exuding luxury and style.

Among its other specifications, the yacht features two water tanks with a capacity of 600 liters each, and two fuel tanks with a capacity of 450 liters each, ensuring ample supply for extended journeys. Equipped with four 230 Ah service batteries, the yacht ensures a steady power source throughout the voyage. The inclusion of a bow thruster enhances maneuverability and control during docking and low-speed maneuvers.

The deck equipment is designed for both comfort and convenience, offering a Spray Hood and Sun Awning for protection against the elements. A Cockpit Table provides a gathering point for meals and socializing, while the Cockpit Shower offers a refreshing way to rinse off after water activities. With the Mainsail Furling on Boom system and seven winches, sail management becomes efficient and straightforward. For added excitement, the yacht comes with the option of a Spinnaker/Gennaker upon request.

To provide a luxurious experience, the Beaufort 16 is fitted with Air Conditioning and Heating systems, ensuring optimal comfort in any weather.
