Descriptif

This 16-day luxury yacht charter from Hurghada is an ambitious Red Sea and Middle East expedition designed for guests seeking a multi-country private voyage with exceptional range, premium service and strategic maritime depth. Departing from Hurghada, Egypt, the itinerary links El Gouna, Safaga, the Gulf of Suez, Sharm El Sheikh, Aqaba, Saudi Arabia’s Umluj and Yanbu coastline, Yemen’s Aden region and onward UAE repositioning planning. It is a rare long-distance yacht experience that connects Red Sea cruising with the wider Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea transition corridor.

The journey begins at Hurghada, a leading Red Sea embarkation hub known for modern marina infrastructure, efficient guest boarding and practical maritime services. For a charter of this scale, the starting point matters. Hurghada supports smooth provisioning, operational preparation, secure docking and professional coordination before the yacht begins its extended route. Guests board a 63m fully crewed luxury motor yacht and enter a voyage shaped by reef systems, desert coastlines, international port calls, island clusters and the logistics of serious offshore navigation.

About Your 16-Day Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and UAE Repositioning Voyage

This is a fully crewed luxury yacht charter operated with an 18-member professional team responsible for navigation, safety, guest service, hospitality and onboard comfort. The itinerary crosses several maritime jurisdictions, so each stage must be confirmed according to weather, security conditions, port permissions, entry requirements and safe routing. The voyage suits private clients who want a unique regional charter experience with the comfort of a luxury yacht and the complexity of a genuine long-range passage.

Day 1: Hurghada to El Gouna. The charter begins with a short coastal cruise north from Hurghada to El Gouna. The route offers calm Red Sea conditions, reef navigation and a gentle first day onboard. El Gouna’s sheltered marina environment provides a secure overnight stay and gives guests time to settle into the yacht’s suites, lounges and open decks before the longer regional transit begins.

Day 2: El Gouna to Safaga. The yacht continues to Safaga, a key Egyptian maritime port with useful anchorage and service facilities. The passage includes clear waters, offshore reef systems and open coastal views. Safaga serves as an important technical and positioning stop before the itinerary moves toward the Gulf of Suez and the northern Red Sea corridors.

Day 3: Safaga to Gulf of Suez Approach. The yacht sails north into the Gulf of Suez corridor, where maritime traffic becomes more structured and navigation demands careful coordination. The coastline narrows as the route approaches the Sinai Peninsula entry zone. Guests can enjoy the changing scale of the voyage while the crew manages commercial shipping awareness and strategic positioning.

Day 4: Sinai Coast Navigation around Sharm El Sheikh. Cruising along the Sinai coastline near Sharm El Sheikh, guests encounter dramatic mountain scenery and coral-rich waters. Protected bays may provide anchorage opportunities, and calm conditions can support snorkeling, relaxation and coastal exploration. This day brings a strong leisure component before the yacht crosses toward Jordanian and Saudi maritime boundaries.

Day 5: Gulf of Aqaba Transit. The yacht enters the narrow Gulf of Aqaba, a maritime corridor bordered by Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Saudi Arabia. Navigation is more formal because of international boundaries and restricted waters. The yacht proceeds northward under careful routing toward Jordan, giving guests a distinctive view of one of the Red Sea’s most important regional passages.

Day 6: Arrival Aqaba, Jordan. Arrival in Aqaba brings the yacht to Jordan’s only seaport on the Red Sea. Formal entry procedures are completed, and guests enjoy sheltered harbor conditions with access to marina services. Aqaba provides a useful and interesting midpoint before the itinerary continues into Saudi Arabia’s northern Red Sea cruising grounds.

Day 7: Aqaba Coastal Exploration. This day is reserved for exploring Aqaba’s coral reefs, nearby diving areas and calm coastal waters. Short-distance cruising allows guests to appreciate Jordan’s Red Sea shoreline at a relaxed pace. The day also supports preparation for the crossing into Saudi Arabian waters, where the scenery becomes increasingly remote and island-focused.

Day 8: Aqaba to Saudi Northern Coast. Departing Jordan, the yacht enters Saudi Arabian waters along the northern Red Sea. Mountainous desert landscapes, clear water and minimal coastal development shape the day’s views. The yacht anchors near remote coastal zones for an overnight stay, bringing guests into one of the region’s fastest-emerging luxury cruising areas.

Day 9: Umluj Island Region, Saudi Arabia. The yacht reaches Umluj, a pristine island region known for turquoise water, coral islands and exceptional anchorage scenery. Maritime traffic is low, and the natural environment feels largely untouched. This is one of the itinerary’s strongest scenic highlights, offering tropical color, peaceful surroundings and the feeling of a private island escape within the Red Sea.

Day 10: Umluj Island Hopping. A full day is dedicated to Saudi Red Sea archipelago cruising. The route connects coral atolls, shallow lagoons and quiet island areas, with navigation handled mainly in daylight due to reef density. Guests can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, tender exploration, sunbathing and relaxed dining while the yacht moves between remote anchorages.

Day 11: Yanbu Coastal Approach. The yacht sails south toward Yanbu, a significant Saudi port city. The coastline transitions from remote island scenery to a more structured maritime environment, with industrial and port activity becoming more visible. Anchorage near protected zones allows the crew to complete any required formalities and prepare for the longer southern route.

Day 12: Yanbu to Far South Saudi Passage. Continuing south along the Saudi coastline, the yacht enters a longer offshore cruising stage toward more remote southern Red Sea waters. Warm seas, moderate winds and open-water stretches define the passage. Guests can make full use of the yacht’s outdoor decks, spa pool, lounges and interior spaces as the route extends toward the lower Red Sea.

Day 13: Entry Yemen Waters, Red Sea to Gulf of Aden Transition. The yacht approaches the Bab el Mandeb Strait, the strategic passage linking the Red Sea with the Gulf of Aden. This is one of the most complex legs of the itinerary, requiring careful monitoring of currents, maritime traffic, routing approvals and safety conditions. Entering Yemeni waters is subject to formal procedures and operational confirmation.

Day 14: Aden Arrival, Yemen. The yacht arrives in Aden, a historic natural harbor surrounded by volcanic formations and long associated with Red Sea and Indian Ocean trade routes. Entry procedures are completed where permitted, and the yacht anchors in protected waters. Aden serves as the key transition point between the Red Sea expedition and the wider Arabian Sea corridor.

Day 15: Gulf of Aden Coastal Exploration. The day focuses on coastal waters around Aden and nearby anchorages, with short cruising legs arranged according to conditions. Currents and open-water influences can vary, so the crew manages the day with attention to safety and comfort. Guests experience the Gulf of Aden as a significant maritime region rather than merely a transit zone.

Day 16: UAE Repositioning Planning toward Dubai Direction. The final day is dedicated to onward passage planning toward the Arabian Gulf, with potential repositioning toward UAE waters including Dubai. This requires long-range routing through the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea, with decisions based on weather, operational planning, permissions and vessel schedule. The day concludes the guest itinerary while establishing the yacht’s next regional movement.
