Descriptif

Created for travellers drawn to distant horizons and rarely visited nations, this 19-day private yacht expedition travels from Sydney through Lord Howe Island, Fiji, Tuvalu, Kiribati and Nauru. The itinerary moves far beyond established resort circuits to reveal isolated atolls, traditional communities, extensive lagoons and vast central Pacific seascapes. A Trinity 55m luxury yacht supports the adventure with elegant accommodation, substantial leisure facilities and attentive service from a professional 12-member crew.

About Our Remote South Pacific Expedition Service

The experience begins amid Sydney’s renowned harbour, where premium marina facilities and professional support enable an efficient and comfortable embarkation. Guests receive personalised assistance throughout the enquiry and preparation stages, with opportunities to discuss dining preferences, activity interests, celebrations and other onboard requirements.

Long-distance passages are essential to reaching the remote countries featured in this route. The schedule therefore combines destination days with realistic time at sea and an additional flexible cruising day at the end. All destinations, landings and activities remain subject to safe navigation, weather, local permissions, port formalities and the captain’s professional judgement. This flexibility is particularly important when operating among isolated atolls with limited infrastructure.

Day 1: Sydney, Australia

Depart from Sydney Harbour and begin the passage into the wider Pacific. Enjoy the city’s famous waterfront from the yacht before turning toward less-travelled waters and some of the world’s smallest island nations.

Day 2: Lord Howe Island, Australia

Reach Lord Howe Island, a UNESCO World Heritage destination celebrated for volcanic peaks, turquoise water and exceptional biodiversity. Swim, snorkel and explore a marine environment whose isolation has helped preserve its remarkable natural qualities.

Day 3: Lord Howe Island Exploration

A second day enables a more complete appreciation of the island’s beaches, reefs and scenic coastal areas. Guests may combine shore exploration with relaxed cruising and marine activities before the yacht begins its extended passage toward Fiji.

Day 4: At Sea - Pacific Crossing

The first offshore day provides an opportunity to settle into the rhythm of long-range exploration. Enjoy panoramic views, personalised dining, quiet time on deck and the yacht’s entertainment and wellness amenities.

Day 5: At Sea - Pacific Crossing

Continue across the South Pacific while approaching Fiji. Spectacular sunsets and clear night skies can make these open-water days especially memorable, complemented by the crew’s seamless hospitality and the yacht’s spacious surroundings.

Day 6: Suva, Fiji

Arrive in Suva on Viti Levu’s southeastern coast. Experience Fiji’s energetic capital, explore its harbour surroundings and encounter local culture before turning away from the principal urban centre toward more isolated island groups.

Day 7: Lau Islands, Fiji

The remote Lau Islands are known for traditional villages, coral reefs and an undeveloped tropical character. Subject to local permissions, guests can explore peaceful anchorages, swim in clear water and gain an authentic impression of one of Fiji’s least-commercialised regions.

Day 8: Northern Fiji Islands

Cruise among northern Fiji’s islands, lagoons and protected bays. The day may combine snorkelling, swimming, tender exploration and quiet time at anchor before the expedition continues toward Tuvalu.

Day 9: At Sea - Fiji to Tuvalu

Cross the central Pacific toward one of the world’s smallest nations. The remote passage rewards guests with an extraordinary sense of scale, tranquil offshore cruising and brilliant skies far from major population centres.

Day 10: Funafuti, Tuvalu

Arrive at Funafuti, Tuvalu’s capital atoll, where a broad turquoise lagoon contrasts with narrow strips of low-lying land. Explore the island environment, experience the unhurried local way of life and enjoy suitable lagoon activities.

Day 11: Tuvalu Atolls Exploration

Continue through Tuvalu’s surrounding atoll scenery, discovering shallow lagoons, small communities and largely untouched tropical settings. Swimming and village visits may be arranged where conditions, permissions and access allow.

Day 12: At Sea - Tuvalu to Kiribati

Travel eastward toward Kiribati through a vast marine landscape. Relax onboard, enjoy personalised service and learn to appreciate the ocean passages that have connected Pacific cultures for generations.

Day 13: Tarawa, Kiribati

Tarawa offers coral scenery, a significant wartime history and an opportunity to experience the contemporary culture of Kiribati. Explore coastal areas and historical locations while gaining perspective on life within a remote atoll nation.

Day 14: Abaiang Atoll, Kiribati

Abaiang presents quieter beaches, traditional communities and inviting lagoon water. Its comparatively peaceful character provides a rewarding contrast with Tarawa and an opportunity for respectful cultural discovery amid pristine tropical surroundings.

Day 15: At Sea - Kiribati to Nauru

Continue westward to Nauru, enjoying another day of genuine offshore exploration. Spacious lounges, open decks and premium onboard facilities support relaxation as the yacht approaches one of the world’s least-visited independent countries.

Day 16: Nauru

Arrive off Nauru and discover its distinctive coastal and cultural environment. Subject to entry procedures and safe landing conditions, guests may explore the island and appreciate the rarity of visiting this isolated Pacific nation by private yacht.

Day 17: Nauru Coastal Exploration

A further day is allocated to Nauru’s coastline, surrounding waters and natural attractions. Enjoy swimming or scenic cruising where conditions allow and gain a more complete understanding of an island seldom incorporated into luxury charter itineraries.

Day 18: At Sea - Return Passage

Begin the westward return passage and enjoy a restorative day aboard. This is an ideal time to revisit photographs, relax in the jacuzzi and reflect on the cultural encounters and remote landscapes experienced across Fiji, Tuvalu, Kiribati and Nauru.

Day 19: Arrival Preparation and Extended Cruising

The final scheduled day provides essential flexibility for offshore navigation, weather and operational requirements. Guests can continue enjoying the yacht’s facilities and peaceful ocean surroundings as the crew prepares for the agreed concluding arrangements and destination.
