13-Day Sanlorenzo 52Steel Crewed Superyacht Charter from Hurghada to Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Oman and the UAE

This 13-day luxury yacht charter from Hurghada, Egypt is designed for guests who want a powerful combination of Red Sea scenery, long-range offshore navigation, Gulf of Aden passage planning, Oman coastal cruising, and UAE luxury marina experiences. Traveling aboard the Sanlorenzo 52Steel, the itinerary moves south from Egypt through Sudan, Eritrea and Djibouti before crossing toward Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The route delivers a strong sense of distance, region, and exclusivity, making it ideal for guests seeking a privately managed yacht journey across Middle East and North East Africa waters.

Hurghada is a practical and premium departure point for this type of extended charter. Its marina infrastructure, fueling services, clearance support, and experienced port coordination allow the yacht to prepare efficiently for international movement. Guests enjoy a smooth boarding process, organized provisioning, and a professional start before moving into one of the Red Sea’s most diverse cruising corridors. The experience is not limited to leisure alone - it blends technical capability, crew-led coordination, watersports, sheltered anchorages, offshore passages, and the changing character of multiple coastlines.

About Our Service in Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Oman and the United Arab Emirates

The charter is operated by an 11-member crew providing guest hospitality, navigation support, deck service, safety monitoring, and technical management throughout the voyage. Every day is coordinated with care, from clearance planning and marina procedures to stabilizer checks, dining service, water activity setup, and guest comfort. The service style is personalized and discreet, allowing guests to enjoy a private luxury environment while the crew manages the demanding operational details behind the scenes.

Day 1: Departure from Hurghada follows the Egyptian Red Sea coastline toward Marsa Alam. The opening day focuses on comfortable coastal cruising, reef-aware navigation, and onboard orientation. Guests may enjoy swimming and water activities near protected marine zones while the crew completes passage planning, stabilizer testing, and fuel optimization ahead of the international transit south.

Day 2: The yacht continues into Sudanese waters, maintaining an offshore route parallel to the coast for safe and efficient navigation. Clear-water cruising and wildlife spotting create a relaxed atmosphere on deck. The crew monitors AIS traffic, engine efficiency, and approach conditions before preparing for controlled overnight anchorage near Port Sudan.

Day 3: The yacht enters the Port Sudan region for formal clearance, provisioning, and refueling. Guests can relax onboard or consider optional shore access depending on permissions and timing. The crew completes a full technical review of propulsion, generators, stabilizers, and service systems before planning the next leg toward Eritrea.

Day 4: The passage continues along Eritrea’s coastline toward Massawa, where reef-rich waters and narrow channels require precise chart plotting. A midday lagoon stop provides an opportunity for snorkeling and quiet sea-level exploration. Evening anchorage near a protected harbor offers calm conditions, while hospitality and navigation teams prepare the yacht for the next international movement.

Day 5: Leaving Eritrea, the yacht heads toward Djibouti through the southern Red Sea corridor. The route passes strategic maritime lanes that require continuous monitoring and careful routing. Arrival near the Djibouti coastline includes secure anchorage procedures and coordination with port authorities, followed by a sunset deck experience for guests.

Day 6: The yacht transits the Bab el Mandeb Strait into the Gulf of Aden. Due to dense commercial traffic and sensitive maritime surroundings, the crew maintains strict navigation protocols, offshore positioning, and enhanced watch procedures. Guests remain comfortable onboard while the yacht prepares for the longer Arabian Sea crossing toward Oman.

Day 7: The yacht continues east into the Arabian Sea under steady cruising conditions. Fuel consumption, weather routing, and machinery performance are monitored closely. Guests enjoy time on the gym, decks, lounges, and dining areas while the crew prepares for a gradual approach to Oman’s offshore waters and Muscat arrival procedures.

Day 8: Arrival along the Omani coastline introduces dramatic landscapes, sheltered anchorages, and the possibility of cruising near Musandam’s fjord-like scenery. Guests enjoy swimming, tender excursions, photography, and relaxed deck time. The crew handles provisioning, technical servicing, and planning for the UAE-bound passage through the Gulf of Oman corridor.

Day 9: The yacht departs Oman and enters UAE waters, navigating toward Fujairah and Dubai offshore zones. High-traffic shipping lanes require ongoing radar and AIS coordination. Guests experience leisure cruising with UAE coastline views while customs documentation and anchorage arrangements are prepared.

Day 10: A full day is dedicated to cruising the UAE coastline between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The experience can include watersports, beach club access, skyline views, marina atmosphere, and nightlife possibilities depending on guest preference and operational timing. The crew also prepares the vessel for either extended Gulf cruising or return routing.

Day 11: The return passage begins westward through the Arabian Sea toward the Red Sea entry corridor. The yacht maintains efficient cruising speed while the crew monitors weather systems, safety procedures, fuel planning, and guest comfort. An offshore anchorage near the Gulf of Aden entrance may be arranged for navigation review and security awareness.

Day 12: The yacht transits back through the Bab el Mandeb Strait into the southern Red Sea. Strict routing discipline remains in place, supported by weather tracking and continuous navigation monitoring. Guests enjoy a quieter day onboard as the yacht moves northbound toward Sudanese coastal waters.

Day 13: The final day continues through Sudanese and Eritrean coastal corridors with scenic reef passages and more relaxed cruising conditions. Guests may enjoy entertainment, water activities, and open-deck leisure while the crew completes inspections, stabilizer calibration, and progress planning toward the Egyptian Red Sea approach near Hurghada.
