The Indian Ocean off the coast of southern Sri Lanka is one of the world's richest sources of deep sea fish. The excursion is suitable for both expert and inexperienced fisherman and provides an amazing encounter.
Deep sea fishing is a crucial aspect of coastal life since the larger species of fish, which are an important part of the local food, live in the deep sea. Spanish mackerel, blue and black marlin, sail fish, yellow fin tuna, barracuda, and giant trevally are among the fish commonly captured in these waters.
Booking Rules • Personal consequences for windy, wet, and hot weather should be considered. • Insect repellents, sun protection lotions, and other similar products are strongly suggested. • Outdoor activities require appropriate casual attire and footwear. • Because this activity entails a boat voyage to the middle of the ocean, guests are warned that certain safety criteria must be followed. Passengers will be admitted only in accordance with the number of available seats, and each customer will be given a life jacket, which must be worn at all times. • Follow all safety instructions given by the crew. • Getting seasick: In the not-so-calm Indian Ocean, there is usually at least a mild swell. If this is your first time on a boat in the Indian Ocean, or if you are sensitive to seasickness, we recommend that you take seasickness medicine prescribed by your doctor on the morning of the voyage (about 1-2 hours before you enter the boat).
