Saona Island is the definition of Caribbean beauty, and a boat journey to its sun-kissed shores is one of the Dominican Republic's most popular excursions. A mile-long length of golden sand and crystal blue ocean bordered by coconut palm trees provides the ideal setting for a day of sun, sea, and Dominican rum.
When you get in Saona, you'll have a wonderful snorkeling experience at Catuano. Follow your guide to observe many different fish species. Then you'll arrive to Saona's beach, one of the Dominican Republic's most beautiful turquoise-water, white-sand beaches. Lunch will be given on the boat while you travel to the natural pool of Las Palmillas to observe the starfishes!
Our French-Dominican staff would be delighted to welcome you aboard our extremely comfortable boat, designed and built by the skipper himself. During your visit, do not hesitate to sit beside the Captain at the helm and listen to his narrative. Or strike up a nice conversation with our two French crew members, who have left everything behind to go on an adventurous journey in the Caribbean. The two Dominican sailors who have been with them since the catamaran's construction will look after the boat before, during, and after your amazing day with us. We can talk to everyone on our small group tours.
We board the catamaran at 8.30 a.m. and cruise for an hour and a half to Catuano, where snorkelers may see a variety of tropical fishes that have established their home in the remains of an ancient pier.
Our guide Quetzal, a licensed diving instructor, will accompany us on the snorkeling trip! Your guide will not only show you the many fish species but will also assure your safety.
We'll spend the remainder of the morning at one of the Dominican Republic's most beautiful turquoise-water, white-sand beaches. Relaxation, a walk on the beach, swimming, or a drink... we will accommodate your schedule. We will return to the boat after an hour and a half at the beach since lunch will be served while cruising to the natural pool.
Las Palmillas Natural Swimming Pool is a wonderful hidden location with crystal blue waters.
The gigantic starfishes are the centerpiece of this location. Before a calm ride back to Bayahibe along the shore, drinks and refreshments will be provided in the sea.
Our yacht, a luxurious 21.5m catamaran, was built in 2013. It provides enough of room for lounging and sunbathing in a secure setting. The boat can accommodate up to 50 passengers, however we decided to limit the maximum number of daily passengers to 25 for comfort reasons.

There is no cancellation fee if you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled departure. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days before your intended departure, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. If you cancel within two days of your intended departure, you will be charged a full refund.
