Our 14-Day Southern Caribbean Charter
Thirteen experienced crew members oversee the yacht and provide personalized hospitality for up to 12 guests. From carefully prepared cuisine and immaculate cabin service to tender transfers and activity assistance, every element is designed to feel seamless. Preferences concerning menus, dietary requirements, celebrations and daily routines can be discussed before departure, allowing the crew to create an experience suited specifically to the group.
The published itinerary is a proposed expedition rather than a guaranteed sequence. Considerable mileage separates several destinations, especially Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and the British Virgin Islands. The practical program may involve overnight passages, a one-way charter, repositioning days or a different disembarkation port. Weather, customs procedures, berth availability, yacht speed and the captain’s judgment will determine the final route.
Day 1 - Tortola and Virgin Gorda: Board in Tortola and cruise to Virgin Gorda for a relaxed introduction. Explore the sculpted granite scenery of The Baths where conditions and access permit, swim in clear water or become acquainted with the yacht’s leisure facilities. A sheltered anchorage provides a comfortable first evening.
Day 2 - St Martin or Sint Maarten: Proceed toward the island shared by French and Dutch administrations. Simpson Bay and Marigot offer distinctive waterfront environments, marina facilities, beaches and international dining. Following the crossing, guests may step ashore or enjoy a restorative afternoon in the spa, pool or shaded lounges.
Day 3 - Antigua: Continue to Antigua and approach English Harbour or Falmouth Harbour. Nelson’s Dockyard introduces the island’s maritime heritage, while established yachting facilities create a polished atmosphere. The day can include a historical excursion, provisioning stop and a private dinner beneath the Caribbean sky.
Day 4 - Guadeloupe: Cruise beside volcanic landscapes toward Guadeloupe. Possible anchorages around Deshaies or other approved locations provide access to rainforest trails, waterfalls, French-Caribbean cuisine and coastal communities. Guests can decide between active exploration and a quieter afternoon enjoying the yacht’s beach club.
Day 5 - Dominica: Arrive at Dominica, one of the journey’s strongest nature destinations. Mountains, rivers, hot springs and rainforest create opportunities for guided inland adventures. Portsmouth, Roseau or an alternative anchorage may be selected according to conditions and shore arrangements.
Day 6 - Martinique: Continue to Martinique and experience the island’s combination of French culture, tropical scenery and sophisticated marina services. Le Marin or Fort-de-France may support a shore visit, while the crew completes any required replenishment. Local flavors can inspire a personalized dinner aboard.
Day 7 - St Lucia: Cruise toward St Lucia and the unmistakable Pitons. Soufrière offers dramatic scenery, while Rodney Bay provides established coastal amenities. Guests may snorkel, tour the volcanic landscape, relax on a beach or appreciate the coastline from the yacht’s expansive sundeck.
Day 8 - St Vincent: Head south along St Vincent’s rugged terrain. Potential stops include Wallilabou Bay or Kingstown, depending on the passage plan. Waterfalls, mountainous interiors and quiet communities present a more authentic and less-developed Caribbean atmosphere.
Day 9 - Bequia or Mustique: Enter the Grenadines and slow the pace among smaller islands and luminous water. Bequia offers warm maritime character, while Mustique is associated with exclusivity and understated sophistication. Short tender journeys, reef exploration and relaxed dining define the day.
Day 10 - Tobago Cays: Spend time within the celebrated marine park, where shallow lagoons, reefs, sandbars and turtle habitats form one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful cruising settings. Subject to park rules and sea conditions, guests can snorkel, swim or explore by tender before enjoying a BBQ or alfresco dinner onboard.
Day 11 - Grenada: Cruise to Grenada and anchor near St George’s, Prickly Bay or another suitable location. Spice markets, green hills and colorful streets provide a compelling shore experience. Grenada also marks the transition from intimate Grenadine cruising to longer southern offshore legs.
Day 12 - Offshore Passage to Barbados: Cross open water toward Barbados, with the crew managing navigation, watchkeeping and weather routing. Guests can use the gym, Hammam, spa, cinema and multiple lounges during the passage. Arrival introduces a livelier island with a distinctive cultural and culinary personality.
Day 13 - Trinidad and Tobago Region: Continue toward the southern Caribbean, subject to the final voyage plan and clearance arrangements. Trinidad and Tobago offer sheltered bays, mangrove environments and strong cultural influences. This stage appeals particularly to guests interested in genuine passage making and less conventional superyacht destinations.
Day 14 - Final Passage or Southern Disembarkation: Complete the charter at an agreed southern port or begin the yacht’s northbound positioning passage. A same-day return from Trinidad and Tobago to Tortola is not operationally realistic; therefore, embarkation and disembarkation arrangements must be confirmed before booking. A one-way structure preserves more guest time for destinations and creates a more rewarding voyage.
