12-Day Crewed Codecasa 62m Windward Islands Luxury Yacht Passage from Tortola to Grenada for Up to 18 Guests

A twelve-day private yacht passage from Tortola into the Windward Islands offers a compelling combination of blue-water cruising, volcanic scenery, refined island culture and secluded tropical anchorages. The route begins among the familiar waters of the British Virgin Islands before progressing south through Virgin Gorda, St Kitts, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent, Bequia, the Tobago Cays and Grenada.

This itinerary is created for travellers who value the journey as much as each destination. Trade-wind passages connect dramatic islands, while shorter cruising legs through the Grenadines create time for swimming, snorkelling and unhurried exploration. The landscape evolves throughout the voyage, moving from the granite formations of Virgin Gorda to the rainforest interiors of Dominica, the Pitons of St Lucia and the protected lagoons of the Tobago Cays.

Departure from Tortola Marina allows guests to begin from one of the Caribbean's most established charter gateways. Professional facilities, secure berthing and well-organised guest services support a smooth arrival and boarding process. Once onboard, a crew of seventeen manages the operational and hospitality requirements of the journey. Menus, entertainment, excursions, celebrations and daily routines can be personalised before arrival and refined throughout the charter.

As this programme covers substantial distances, the sequence of islands and exact stopping points may be adapted by the captain. Weather systems, trade-wind strength, swell, anchorage conditions, customs procedures and port availability will always influence the final navigation plan. These adjustments are made to protect safety, comfort and the overall quality of the experience.

About Our Windward Islands Charter Service

The Windward Islands reward guests with a more adventurous style of Caribbean cruising. Mountainous coastlines rise directly from the sea, traditional communities sit beside sophisticated marinas and protected anchorages are often surrounded by rainforest or volcanic terrain. Aboard a 62-metre yacht, guests can explore these environments while retaining the privacy, service and amenities of a substantial floating residence.

Day 1 - Tortola to Virgin Gorda: After embarkation, the yacht makes a relaxed passage toward Virgin Gorda. The comparatively short first leg gives guests time to unpack, tour the yacht and discuss the itinerary with the captain and senior crew. Subject to local conditions, the day may include a visit to The Baths, where granite formations create distinctive pools and pathways beside the sea. The yacht then anchors in calm water for an easy first evening.

Day 2 - St Eustatius, St Kitts and Nevis Region: The yacht continues south through moderate trade-wind conditions toward St Eustatius and the St Kitts and Nevis area. Volcanic peaks, historic forts and green coastlines shape the scenery. A suitable anchorage may be selected near Basseterre, Nevis or another protected location. Guests can explore ashore, visit a historic site or spend the evening enjoying the upper deck as warm winds move through the anchorage.

Day 3 - Antigua and Barbuda: Antigua provides a prestigious yachting stop and a valuable point for rest and preparation. English Harbour is surrounded by historic naval architecture, while Falmouth Harbour offers established marine services and a lively waterfront. Guests may tour Nelson's Dockyard, enjoy lunch ashore or take a scenic drive. Back onboard, the crew prepares the yacht for the extended southern stages of the voyage.

Day 4 - Guadeloupe: A stronger trade-wind passage brings the yacht toward Guadeloupe. The island combines French Caribbean culture with rainforest, waterfalls and striking volcanic coastlines. Depending on the route, the yacht may anchor near Deshaies or use facilities closer to Pointe-à-Pitre. Guests can choose between a nature excursion, local dining, coastal exploration or a restful afternoon around the Jacuzzi and exterior lounges.

Day 5 - Dominica: Dominica is one of the most naturally dramatic destinations in the eastern Caribbean. The island's mountains, rivers, waterfalls and dense vegetation create a setting that feels distinctly different from the more developed resort islands. Anchorage may be arranged near Portsmouth or Roseau. Guided inland exploration can include rainforest walks, volcanic features or waterfall visits, while the yacht remains a luxurious base for the day.

Day 6 - Martinique: Continuing south, the yacht reaches Martinique and a more polished French Caribbean environment. Le Marin, Fort-de-France or another suitable harbour may be included according to the operational plan. Guests can experience local cuisine, markets, coastal villages and marina amenities. The island also provides excellent provisioning opportunities and a comfortable pause between the wilder landscapes of Dominica and the striking shoreline of St Lucia.

Day 7 - St Lucia: The approach to St Lucia is defined by the island's mountainous coastline and the iconic Pitons. The yacht may anchor near Soufrière, Rodney Bay or another protected location. Snorkelling, beach time, scenic excursions and volcanic attractions can be incorporated into the day. Evening drinks served against the outline of the Pitons can become one of the visual highlights of the entire charter.

Day 8 - St Vincent: The route proceeds toward St Vincent, where rugged landscapes and less-developed cruising grounds create a strong sense of discovery. Possible calls include Wallilabou Bay, Kingstown or another sheltered anchorage. Guests may explore waterfalls, mountain scenery or quiet coastal communities. Steady sailing conditions between the islands maintain the passage-making character of the itinerary.

Day 9 - Bequia and the Grenadines: The yacht enters the Grenadines and begins a series of shorter island hops. Bequia offers a welcoming waterfront, clear bays and a relaxed maritime identity. Mustique or another nearby island may be considered if timing, permissions and guest preferences allow. Coral reefs, compact distances and beautiful anchorages make this part of the route particularly suitable for swimming, snorkelling and tender exploration.

Day 10 - Tobago Cays: The protected waters of the Tobago Cays provide one of the charter's most memorable leisure days. Turquoise lagoons, small uninhabited islands, reefs and turtle habitats create excellent conditions for snorkelling and nature observation. Guests can relax on sandbars, explore by tender or spend the afternoon on the yacht's sun deck. A carefully prepared alfresco dinner completes the day in this exceptional marine setting.

Day 11 - Northbound Offshore Passage: The itinerary includes a longer passage designed around offshore navigation, trade winds and watchkeeping. Depending on the final charter structure, this stage may begin the northbound progression toward St Lucia or Martinique, or may be adjusted to support the concluding arrival plan. Guests can enjoy the gym, lounges, entertainment spaces and panoramic exterior decks while the bridge team manages navigation and weather routing.

Day 12 - Completion of the Windward Islands Circuit: The final day completes the planned southern circuit and may include a return-oriented passage or an agreed disembarkation arrangement determined during charter planning. Scenic views across the island chain create a fitting conclusion to twelve days of varied cruising. The crew coordinates luggage, transfers and departure arrangements while guests enjoy a final meal and the last hours of private yacht hospitality.

About Our Codecasa 62m Luxury Yacht

Italian-built elegance and significant onboard volume make this 62-metre Codecasa particularly suitable for an extended Windward Islands programme. Her exterior design reflects classic yacht proportions, while the interiors by Della Role Design combine sophisticated detailing with comfortable areas for everyday charter living. The comprehensive 2023 refit has renewed the yacht for contemporary use and enhanced her appeal for guests seeking a polished, full-service environment.

Up to eighteen guests can be accommodated in seven refined staterooms. The layout supports privacy for couples and individuals while also providing substantial shared spaces for families, friends and corporate groups. Interior lounges and dining areas can host formal occasions, relaxed meals or quiet evenings away from the tropical heat.

The backlit onyx bar gives the main entertainment area a distinctive visual identity. A separate nightclub-style venue with karaoke facilities allows guests to continue celebrations in a dedicated setting. Satellite television, Wi-Fi and air conditioning contribute to day-to-day convenience, while an elevator serving all decks improves accessibility around the yacht.

Outdoor life centres on the spacious sun deck, where guests will find a Jacuzzi, exterior bar and several lounging and sunbathing areas. Alfresco dining can be arranged throughout the voyage, with menus and table settings adapted to the destination or occasion. Panoramic views from the upper levels are especially valuable when approaching St Lucia, Dominica and the Grenadines.

The yacht also includes a fully equipped gym, advanced stabilisation systems and two luxury tenders. Stabilisation supports greater comfort during open-water passages and overnight anchorages, while the tenders facilitate transfers to beaches, harbours, reefs and excursion points. Seventeen crew members ensure that technical demands and guest expectations are managed with professionalism.

Private Luxury Across the Caribbean's Most Dramatic Island Chain

The true strength of this itinerary lies in its progression from established yachting hubs into increasingly dramatic and remote cruising areas. Guests experience French Caribbean culture, historic harbours, volcanic landscapes, rainforest interiors, coral lagoons and traditional island communities without sacrificing personal space or service quality.

This is an excellent choice for travellers who want an active, visually impressive Caribbean charter supported by a yacht capable of providing substantial comfort between destinations. Advance reservations allow the crew and charter team to coordinate menus, excursions, permits, berths and personalised celebrations in detail. A twelve-day Windward Islands passage aboard this 62-metre Codecasa offers the scale, privacy and service needed to transform a demanding regional route into an exceptionally refined private journey.
