This classic boat, based in the Basque Country, is now available for sale. Built in 1984 and registered for the second time, it offers a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern amenities. With its next inspection due in 2025, this vessel is ready to sail the seas with confidence. The boat measures 31 meters in length and 7 meters in beam, providing ample space for both passengers and crew.
Powered by a DOOSAN INFRACORE L136T1 inboard diesel engine with a total power of 147.06 KW (200 HP), this boat is designed for efficiency and reliability. It has a fuel capacity of 6000 liters and a water capacity of 2000 liters, complemented by a desalination plant, ensuring long voyages without the need for frequent refueling or water stops. The boat can accommodate up to 80 passengers and has 5 cabins, making it ideal for extended trips or hosting large groups.
The navigation and safety equipment on board include radar, VHF, life rafts for deep-sea navigation, an inflatable rescue boat with a 15 hp Mariner engine, life jackets for 60 people, lifebuoys, survival suits, line throwing devices, a radio beacon, and a radar responder. The first aid kit is of type "C," and the boat is equipped with GMDSS walkie-talkies and complete firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers, an automatic harmless gas extinguishing circuit, self-contained breathing apparatus (ERAS), and personal protective equipment (PPE).
The boat's construction features classic woodwork with Iroco keel, oak frames, Iroco baths, Iroco and Ukola outer lining, Scotch Pine interior lining, and Iroco and Sapele interior furniture. It has a displacement of 100.99 GT and was constructed at the Lekeitio Vizcaya Shipyards in the Basque Country. The rigging is made of Iroco, Oregon Pine, and Scots Pine, with firm rigging and stainless steel fittings. The boat has two masts, each made up of two pieces with an intermediate crow's nest, and an Elondo cover.
The onboard machinery includes a propeller with 4 blades and 1 meter in diameter (with one spare), a reducer 3 to 1, and a VETUS generator set running at 1500rpm. The boat cruises at 7 knots at 75% power and can reach up to 9 knots at 100% power. It features a bow winch for electric motor anchors with a 150kg hall anchor and 100 meters of chain, along with two reserve anchors. The bilge pumps are three-phase, and there is an independent auxiliary fire pump with a diesel engine stowed on deck.
The sail includes classic manual maneuvering with the possibility of lifting with winches approximately 400 meters of sail. The sails include elderly, ratchet, flying jib, jib, stay candle, scandalous, and square or round candle. The exterior/government canopy features a "Endless" mechanical system rudder, rudder stock with exit to deck for spare tiller, Morse command, engine instruments, screen-repeater of the FURUNO radar plotter equipment on the bridge, probe, VHF, and binnacle.
The interior/cockpit features a hydraulic system rudder, Morse command, engine instruments, radar with plotter (FURUNO), VHF with DSC, MF, Navtex, AIS, probe, anemometer, radio beacon, radar responder, compass, and a large electrical panel of 380v, 220v, 24v, and 12v.
The interior fittings include an aft lounge with TV and DTT and an electric toilet, a large kitchen with a 4-burner ceramic hob, oven and microwave, cold room, and two freezers. There are five cabins and a workshop shed on deck for tools and spare parts, which can be converted into a cabin for two people. The boat also features piped music, with water-resistant speakers adjustable from the bridge for the exterior and adjustable from both the bridge and each cabin for the interior.
