The Brittany coast is stunning, offering the ideal combination of swimming-friendly white sand beaches, enticing rocky coves and pools, and magnificent cliffs and rock formations. A number of islands off the shore are also enjoyable to visit. Many tourists who travel to France enjoy exploring the Brittany coast, taking in the wide beaches, picking up mussels in a secluded cove, watching their kids play in the rock pools, and visiting the historic ports and villages. Many of these tourists come back year after year, which is a testament to the allure and beauty of the area.
We offer sailing boats to groups of friends, coworkers, families, single sailors, and anybody else who wants to sail along our coasts. We provide island hopping excursions, river (ria) cruises, regattas or ocean racing, group activities, visits to the Isles of Scilly or Ile d'Yeu - it's all up to you what you want to do. It's your option whether you want a comfortable keel boat, a beachable sailing boat, on-board heating for winter, or a type that performs well in regattas. We are here to help you and to tell you about the options we have. We are glad to welcome you to southern Brittany, regardless of your itinerary or length of stay.
The happiness of our customers is something we value highly. In addition to friends you won't forget, we work hard to give you an experience you won't soon forget! Knowing that we have provided our customers with the satisfaction they give us every day we are at sea gives us the greatest sense of fulfillment. We won't ever take that away from you, so be assured of that.
EXPLORING BRITTANY
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to operate in a stunning environment, close to Belle-Ile, the Glénan archipelago, and lush rias. It is the perfect place to start a one- or two-week cruise as well as a shorter journey of 2 to 5 days.
Real harbors are few in Belle-Ile. Because of its rocky shoreline, you may desire to sneak between the rocks in search of a charming beach, a secluded cove, or an amazing cave. Many seasoned sailors do just that when the weather is fine and the water is calm. One of these fabled locales is Stern Vern.
There is a covered wet dock in Belle-Ile's major harbor, Le Palais. There is always a place to anchor upstream of the lock if the lock is closed if the harbor is filled. With several stores and a regular market, it is a bustling area.
In line with Quiberon, Houat Island and its smaller sister Hoedic are situated east of Belle-Ile. These tiny islands, with their fine golden sand, give off an unmistakable sense of being on the edge of the earth. The majority of sailing vessels at Houat are anchored off the expansive beach on the island's southeast coast. It is a pretty wonderful location that is best explored during calm weather. You can also moor your boat on the island's north or south coasts near Saint-Gildas Harbor, depending on the wind direction.
The little port of Sauzon on the north shore of Belle-Ile, which is 25 nautical miles from Lorient, is well-known for its charm and setting. It's a lovely place to visit because of its charming and colorful residences and proximity to Pointe des Poulains. It has a harbormaster's office, a supermarket, excellent bakeries, bars, restaurants, creperies, and a shop where you can rent bicycles. You can berth comfortably in the port itself if your yacht can handle the ground (dual keel, lift keel). If not, you will need to moor your boat in the fore-port or a cove near the port, where there is a well-organized buoy mooring system (which, however, should be avoided in north-easterly winds).
Nine islands and many rocks make up the Glénan archipelago. Penfret and Saint Nicholas are the two biggest islands. This lovely location is well-known for its crystal-clear seas and its sailing school ("Les Glénans"), which was founded following World War II. There is an endemic sea lily there. Mooring stations abound at La Chambre and Bananec bay. You should stock up on food and water on the mainland before traveling to the Génans. When you arrive in the archipelago, we are available to advise you. 10 nautical miles separate Lorient from Concarneau.
Ile de Groix, which is just across from Lorient, has wet docks at "Port-Tudy" and fair-weather moorings at "Sables Rouges" and "Locmaria". Ile de Groix needs a little more attention because you may spend a very enjoyable few days there, even if it's frequently your first port of call when you depart on Saturday evening and your last stop on the way back. There are some wonderful bike and walking pathways there.

INSUARANCE:
The whole loss, damage, and theft liabilities of the user are covered by the comprehensive insurance with excess. Personal belongings and effects in the case of a mysterious disappearance are uninsured. Only in the event of a break-in and under the condition that a police complaint has been filed, are accessories and equipment covered. The insurance's coverage area spans the latitudes of 30°N and 60°N, as well as 20°W and 20°E. The lessee must get permission from the lessor and pay an additional insurance charge if they want to go outside of this area.
DEPOSITE:
When the lessee takes possession of the boat, they pay the deposit. Its objective is to pay for the rental contract's excess, operating losses caused by the boat's immobilization, and other expenses that the insurance does not cover. Except in cases of damage to the rented property or losses not covered by insurance, attributable to the lessee, it is returned one month after the return of the boat. It's important to note that the deposit listed in the contract is doubled for regattas. The entire deposit will be collected in the event of a boat grounding.
