LAGOON 400 S2 CATAMARANThe Lagoon 400 (released in 2009) has gained fresh life thanks to the efforts of Nauta Design on the boat's interior fittings, after more than 500 boats were manufactured in 8 years. Today, it is an even warmer catamaran, more comfortable to live in, and very modern. The Lagoon 400 S2 is designed for coastal and offshore sailing. With its four double bedrooms, huge, stylishly restored saloon, and single-level cockpit, it can comfortably accommodate eight people.

CANCELLATION BY THE LESSOR:• If the boat can't be provided on the agreed date, the Lessor may offer an alternative boat at the same price.
• If unable to do so within 48 hours after the scheduled date of departure, a full refund will be issued.
CANCELLATION BY THE LESSEE:Cancellation fees apply based on timing:
• More than three months before rental: 500 Euros administrative costs.
• Less than three months and more than one month: 30% penalty.
• Less than a month and more than a week: 80% penalty.
• Less than a week: Full rental amount.
• Refund possible if the Lessor rents the boat for the same period at an equal or higher amount.
PAYMENT TERMS:• Payment depends on reservation timing.
• Failure to comply with payment deadlines leads to automatic termination, and the Lessor retains the sums already paid as compensation.
TAKING POSSESSION:• The Lessor provides a well-equipped boat in perfect condition.
• Possession is official after full payment and signing the inventory.
INVENTORY:• A signed inventory acknowledges the boat's condition.
• Lessee has 24 hours to report defects.
• Disputes are resolved based on the signed inventory.
LESSEE’S OBLIGATIONS:• Lessee ensures the boat captain's competence.
• Responsible for a navigation logbook and routine maintenance.
• Follows regulations, refrains from commercial use, and complies with passenger limits.
• Lessee covers consumables and port costs.
INSURANCE:• The Lessor has all-risk insurance.
• Lessee is liable for the deductible.
• Geographical coverage is specified.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:• Paid upon taking possession of the boat.
• Serves as a guarantee and is returned within a month after the boat is returned.
DAMAGES DURING RENTAL:• Lessee consults with the Lessor for damages.
• Costs are reimbursed with a detailed invoice.
RETURNING THE YACHT:• Must return on the agreed date, time, and place.
• Costs for returning to another port are borne by the Lessee.
• Compensation for delays and additional costs in the case of force majeure.
DISPUTES:• Lessee bears legal costs.
• The Court of Papeete - Tahiti is the sole applicable jurisdiction for disputes.
