The Dahabiya are Egypt's iconic river-going sailboats: these vessels have sailed the Nile for decades. They were popular in Egypt under the monarchy (1920-1940), when aristocracy and refined tourists enjoyed cruising the Nile in this style. They used to charter these magnificent boats for weeks at a time, traveling from temple to temple while enjoying the river wind. The Dahabiya contained four to ten cabins, restrooms, and a servant host. Traveling in these boats allowed you to take in the Egyptian scenery, with its monuments and communities, from the riverbanks while sipping a drink.
We are delighted to allow you to relive these elegant days of the past in every luxury, and we desire to give them to the difficult-to-please traveler. Our yacht has eight premium rooms that are fully outfitted with private facilities, air conditioning, and single beds that may be united. It also features four luxury King suites with all the amenities. Many people come to Egypt just to sail the Nile, but the majority of them must settle with fast-moving and loud cruise boats that do not enable them to completely appreciate the beauty and peace and quiet that the Nile is known for. Our Dahabiya offers you to enjoy the Nile's allure in a more personal and exclusive environment.
