Tanım

A remarkable twelve-day private yacht experience begins in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, combining the comfort of an exceptional 77-metre superyacht with an ambitious route across several of the Caribbean's most celebrated cruising regions. Tortola offers an ideal starting point for this far-reaching voyage, with reliable marina infrastructure, secure berthing, convenient transport connections and professional embarkation services that allow guests to transition smoothly from arrival to life onboard.

This fully crewed charter is designed for travellers seeking more than a conventional island holiday. The route links the British Virgin Islands, United States Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, the Leeward Islands, the Windward Islands and the southern Caribbean. Sheltered anchorages, open-water passages, sophisticated marina destinations, remote tropical cays and culturally distinctive islands are brought together in one comprehensive itinerary.

Up to eighteen guests are accommodated across nine beautifully appointed cabins and supported by a professional crew of twenty-five. This outstanding crew-to-guest ratio creates an environment of discreet attention, highly personalised service and effortless hospitality. Dining preferences, wellness arrangements, entertainment, shore activities and daily schedules can all be adapted to suit the group, while the experienced captain and crew manage navigation, safety, destination planning and onboard operations.

About Our 12-Day Northern Caribbean Charter Route

This extended itinerary is created for guests who appreciate varied navigation, long-distance cruising and the opportunity to experience contrasting Caribbean regions within one yacht charter. The programme combines calm coastal sailing with more substantial offshore passages, making it particularly suitable for adventurous families, private groups and experienced charter guests seeking a broad regional experience.

Routes, anchoring locations and arrival times remain subject to weather, sea conditions, customs requirements, operational considerations and the captain's professional judgement. The itinerary can also be refined around guest interests, including additional beach time, cultural visits, watersports, wellness sessions or private dining experiences.

Day 1 - Tortola to Norman Island

Your charter begins with a relaxed departure from Tortola and a short coastal cruise toward Norman Island. Sheltered passages and protected bays provide a comfortable introduction to the yacht, allowing guests to settle into their cabins, meet the crew and become familiar with the onboard facilities. Swimming and snorkelling can be arranged in clear-water bays before the yacht anchors overnight in calm surroundings. The gentle pace provides an ideal first day before the longer regional passages ahead.

Day 2 - Norman Island to St John

The yacht crosses toward St John in the United States Virgin Islands, using steady Caribbean trade winds and scenic open channels. Depending on conditions, the day may include time near Cruz Bay, Francis Bay or another protected anchorage. Guests can swim, explore walking trails, visit beaches or spend the afternoon enjoying the yacht's outdoor spaces. Evening dining may be served on deck beneath clear tropical skies while the yacht remains positioned in a peaceful bay.

Day 3 - St John to Puerto Rico

The journey continues toward Puerto Rico's eastern coastline, with potential arrival near Fajardo or Vieques. Coral reefs, mangrove environments, protected beaches and attractive coastal scenery provide several opportunities for exploration. Time ashore may be arranged to discover local culture and island hospitality before returning to the yacht for sunset drinks, dinner and relaxation in a marina or sheltered anchorage.

Day 4 - Offshore Passage toward the Bahamas

A longer ocean passage begins as the yacht leaves Puerto Rican waters and heads toward the Bahamas. This day showcases the yacht's long-range capability, stability and sophisticated onboard comfort. Guests may observe professional navigation and watchkeeping while enjoying the pool, spa, cinema, lounges and panoramic deck areas. Rolling Atlantic conditions, open horizons and possible dolphin sightings create a genuine blue-water cruising experience, with the passage continuing overnight where required.

Day 5 - Bahamas and Exuma Cays

Arrival in the Bahamas introduces an entirely different cruising environment defined by shallow turquoise lagoons, pale sandbanks and remote cays. Depending on routing, the yacht may explore the Exuma Cays or anchor within reach of Nassau. Swimming, snorkelling, tender excursions and relaxed beach visits can be organised, while the yacht's elevated decks provide superb views across the surrounding waters. The day is dedicated to marine exploration and unhurried tropical leisure.

Day 6 - Southbound Passage toward the Northeastern Caribbean

The yacht departs the Bahamas for a substantial southbound passage toward Puerto Rico and the northeastern island chain. The captain and bridge team assess wind, currents and weather systems to determine the most efficient and comfortable course. Guests can enjoy uninterrupted time onboard, making use of the wellness facilities, movie theatre, sun deck, dining areas and private lounges while the crew manages all aspects of the passage.

Day 7 - St Martin and Anguilla

Following the longer offshore sector, the yacht reaches St Martin and Anguilla. Shorter inter-island cruising allows guests to experience French, Dutch and British Caribbean influences within a compact area. Beach clubs, elegant restaurants, quiet coves and lively waterfront districts can be incorporated according to preference. The contrast between Anguilla's peaceful beaches and St Martin's energetic marina atmosphere makes this an especially varied day.

Day 8 - Antigua

The itinerary continues south to Antigua, one of the Caribbean's most prestigious yachting destinations. English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour provide historic surroundings, established marina services and easy access to Nelson's Dockyard. Guests can explore ashore, enjoy waterfront dining or return to the yacht for a private evening hosted by the crew. Antigua also provides an important operational stop before the voyage continues through the Leeward Islands.

Day 9 - Guadeloupe and Dominica

Lush volcanic landscapes become increasingly prominent as the yacht moves through Guadeloupe and toward Dominica. Rainforest-covered mountains, waterfalls, secluded bays and traditional coastal communities create a strong contrast to the drier northern islands. Guided nature excursions, village visits and scenic tender trips may be arranged, while the yacht anchors within dramatic surroundings that feel remote and deeply connected to the natural Caribbean environment.

Day 10 - Martinique and St Lucia

The yacht enters the Windward Islands, visiting Martinique and St Lucia. French Caribbean culture, sophisticated coastal towns and volcanic scenery define this sector. Depending on timing, guests may explore Martinique's marina areas before continuing toward the dramatic coastline of St Lucia. Sheltered anchorages, colourful communities and the distinctive Pitons create memorable settings for swimming, photography, outdoor dining and evening relaxation.

Day 11 - St Vincent, the Grenadines and Grenada

The route continues through one of the Caribbean's most iconic island-hopping regions. Bequia, Tobago Cays and the wider Grenadines offer clear water, reef systems, calm anchorages and short scenic passages. Snorkelling, tender exploration and visits to secluded beaches can be combined with time onboard. The yacht then progresses toward Grenada, completing a day filled with some of the most recognisable tropical scenery in the eastern Caribbean.

Day 12 - Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago

The final stage introduces longer offshore sailing toward Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago. Stronger ocean conditions and open-water navigation create a rewarding conclusion to this extensive multi-region voyage. Guests experience the changing character of the southern Caribbean, from Barbados' lively coastal identity to the culturally rich maritime environment of Trinidad and Tobago. The arrival marks the completion of an extraordinary journey linking numerous island groups and cruising styles.

Every transition is supported by a capable superyacht and an experienced crew able to maintain comfort during both sheltered cruising and extended offshore passages.

For families, friends or distinguished private groups seeking an experience of genuine scale, this itinerary offers a rare opportunity to combine exploration, privacy, wellness and five-star hospitality. From Tortola's welcoming marina to the southern Caribbean's culturally rich waters, each day delivers a new setting while preserving the consistency and sophistication of a private luxury yacht. Early reservation is strongly recommended to allow sufficient time for route planning, port coordination, provisioning and complete personalisation of the voyage.
