Описание

Follow one of the world's most historically important maritime corridors during a private 16-day luxury yacht voyage from Dammam to Musandam. Travelling through Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and approved Iranian coastal waters, this exceptional itinerary combines Gulf capitals, modern waterfront destinations, dramatic mountain scenery and the culturally significant waters surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

The charter begins at Dammam Marina on Saudi Arabia's Arabian Gulf coast. From this distinguished departure point, the yacht proceeds toward Doha before continuing to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and the Musandam Peninsula. Subject to all required permissions and operational approvals, the programme may then include selected Iranian islands or coastal areas before returning to northern Oman.

Guests travel aboard a 77-metre Amels superyacht with accommodation for up to 18 people in nine cabins. Approximately 25 crew members deliver discreet service, professional navigation, culinary hospitality and personalised activity support. Expansive decks, a beach club, swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, gym and cinema create a comfortable private environment for both city-based exploration and extended offshore passages.

About Our Strait of Hormuz Charter Service

This itinerary is intended for experienced travellers seeking an unusual regional perspective supported by the comfort of a world-class yacht. It crosses areas shaped by centuries of trade, navigation and cultural exchange, linking the western Arabian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the narrow waters between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran.

All Iranian navigation, coastal access and shore visits are subject to visas, diplomatic requirements, port authorisation, sanctions compliance, flag-state restrictions, security review and current maritime conditions. The final route will only include locations approved by the relevant authorities, captain, yacht management and charter stakeholders. Alternative Omani or UAE destinations may be substituted whenever direct operation is not authorised or considered appropriate.

Day 1 - Dammam Embarkation

Guests board in Dammam and receive a personal welcome from the crew. Following an introduction to the cabins, decks, safety arrangements and onboard facilities, the yacht begins its journey toward Qatar. The opening hours allow everyone to settle comfortably into superyacht life while enjoying views of the Saudi Arabian coastline and an evening meal prepared around the group's preferences.

Day 2 - Dammam to Doha

The yacht cruises south through Arabian Gulf waters and approaches Doha. Guests may spend the passage beside the pool, in the spa or within one of the elegant lounges. Arrival reveals Qatar's distinctive skyline and polished waterfront. Depending on timing, the group can enjoy a city visit, traditional market experience, museum programme or dinner at a leading hospitality venue.

Day 3 - Doha Culture and Coastal Leisure

A full day in Doha provides opportunities to combine cultural exploration with private yacht relaxation. Guests may visit significant architectural and heritage attractions before returning for lunch onboard. Later, the yacht can move toward suitable coastal waters for swimming, paddleboarding or sunset cruising against the city's contemporary skyline.

Day 4 - Northern Qatar

The yacht explores selected sections of Qatar's northern coastline, where desert landscapes and quiet beaches provide a strong contrast to Doha's metropolitan environment. Guests can use the beach club for water access, take a tender ride or enjoy an uninterrupted afternoon on deck. The flexible schedule allows the day to remain active or completely restful.

Day 5 - Qatar to Abu Dhabi

Navigation continues across the Gulf toward Abu Dhabi. During the passage, guests can experience the yacht's cinema, spa, gym and multiple social spaces. Meals and refreshments are served according to the group's preferred routine, and the absence of a fixed shore programme creates a welcome opportunity to enjoy the vessel itself before reaching the UAE.

Day 6 - Abu Dhabi Islands and Waterfront

Abu Dhabi combines cultural institutions, refined urban districts and extensive island environments. Guests may explore notable attractions ashore, enjoy lunch at a luxury waterfront venue or remain close to the coast for swimming and scenic cruising. The itinerary can be organised to balance cultural interests with time for rest and privacy onboard.

Day 7 - Abu Dhabi to Dubai

The yacht travels north along the UAE coastline, passing island developments, beaches and modern waterfront districts. As Dubai's skyline becomes visible, guests can gather on the exterior decks for one of the journey's most recognisable approaches. The evening may include entertainment ashore or a private dinner with illuminated city views.

Day 8 - Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah

Dubai is explored from the water through cruising around Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and selected offshore landmarks. Swimming stops and water activities can be incorporated where conditions permit. Guests may also visit shopping districts, restaurants, resorts and entertainment venues before returning to the yacht's private surroundings.

Day 9 - Dubai to Fujairah

Leaving Dubai, the vessel transitions toward Fujairah and the UAE's eastern coastline. The journey marks a geographical change from the Arabian Gulf toward the Gulf of Oman. Guests enjoy an unhurried day onboard while observing increasingly rugged scenery and preparing for the mountainous landscapes around Musandam.

Day 10 - Fujairah to Musandam

The yacht approaches the Musandam Peninsula through waters associated with the Strait of Hormuz. Steep cliffs, remote bays and clear marine environments replace the urban skylines of previous days. At a suitable anchorage, guests may swim, snorkel or take a tender excursion beneath the dramatic mountain backdrop.

Day 11 - Musandam Peninsula Exploration

A full day is devoted to Musandam's fjord-like coastline. The yacht navigates between towering geological formations and peaceful coves, offering numerous opportunities for photography and observation. Water activities, outdoor dining and visits near traditional coastal communities may be incorporated according to local access arrangements and conditions.

Day 12 - Passage Toward Approved Iranian Waters

Subject to complete authorisation, the yacht departs Musandam for selected Iranian coastal waters or islands. This segment introduces guests to the historic cross-Gulf connections that have shaped commerce and culture around the Strait of Hormuz. Where permission is unavailable, the day will instead be used to explore additional Omani waters and approved regional destinations.

Day 13 - Iranian Island or Coastal Experience

If legally and operationally confirmed, guests may observe or visit an approved Iranian island or coastal area. The experience can introduce distinctive geological scenery, traditional maritime communities and regional heritage. All activities will follow official instructions and may remain limited to authorised ports or offshore observation. An alternative Musandam programme will apply when access is restricted.

Day 14 - Return to Northern Oman

The yacht leaves approved Iranian waters and returns toward Oman's northern coast. The navigation day allows guests to relax after the culturally focused stages of the voyage. Spa treatments, cinema screenings, private meals and time beside the pool can be arranged while the crew prepares for a final day among Musandam's anchorages.

Day 15 - Final Musandam Leisure Day

The group enjoys a last full day in the dramatic surroundings of Musandam. Swimming, snorkelling, tender exploration and scenic cruising may be combined with an extended lunch on deck. A farewell dinner can be arranged in a sheltered setting, creating a refined conclusion to the sixteen-day journey.

Day 16 - Musandam Disembarkation

Following breakfast, guests disembark in Musandam with assistance from the crew. Private transfers and onward arrangements can be coordinated as required. The voyage concludes after crossing one of the world's most significant maritime regions and experiencing the contrasting coastal identities of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Oman and, where authorised, Iran.

About Our Amels 77m Luxury Yacht

The 77-metre Amels yacht is exceptionally well suited to an extended international itinerary. Her size provides considerable internal volume, generous exterior living areas and the operational capabilities necessary for comfortable long-distance cruising. Terence Disdale's interior design combines refined detailing with practical, welcoming spaces where guests can relax without unnecessary formality.

Nine cabins accommodate up to 18 guests in an arrangement that includes an owner's suite, VIP cabins, doubles and twins. This configuration supports different group structures while maintaining privacy for every guest. The accommodation is complemented by elegant common areas suited to formal dinners, informal gatherings, business discussions and quiet personal time.

Four decks provide multiple exterior settings for observing the changing landscapes of the Gulf. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, deck jacuzzi, shaded lounges and open-air dining spaces while approaching Doha, Dubai, Fujairah or the cliffs of Musandam. The variety of deck areas ensures that both social and private preferences can be accommodated.

The beach club becomes particularly valuable in Omani waters, providing convenient access for swimming and tender activities. A dedicated spa, fully equipped gym and private cinema make navigation days equally enjoyable, allowing each guest to design a personal schedule independent of the wider group.

Approximately 25 crew members manage the voyage with a high level of professionalism. Culinary service, housekeeping, engineering, navigation, tenders and guest activities are handled by specialists working together to create a smooth charter. Personal dietary preferences, celebration arrangements and daily service styles can be discussed during the booking process.

An Exceptional Journey Through the Strait

This charter offers a perspective on the Strait of Hormuz that few travellers experience. Rather than passing quickly through the region, guests can appreciate its geography, coastal cultures and strategic maritime importance from the comfort of a private superyacht.

The programme is ambitious and requires substantial advance preparation. Permissions, compliance reviews and international clearances must be confirmed before any Iranian component can be guaranteed. Transparent planning and operational flexibility are therefore central to delivering the itinerary responsibly.

For guests seeking a sophisticated voyage beyond standard Arabian Gulf cruising routes, this sixteen-day Amels 77m charter offers an exceptional blend of luxury, natural scenery and culturally significant navigation. Early enquiry is essential to assess feasibility and construct the most rewarding approved programme for the selected travel period.
