To aid you in effortlessly arranging your ideal vacation, we've curated a selection of incredible attractions and experiences you can relish along the Telemark Canal and the Telemark Coast.
As you peacefully glide through tranquil waters, you'll be surrounded by lush forests, towering mountains, and crystal-clear lakes. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, including majestic deer, industrious beavers, and soaring eagles. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking vistas and experience tranquility as you escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
At the terminus of the canal lies the quaint town of Dalen, enveloped by imposing mountains. Here, you can explore Dalen Hotel, a charming wooden establishment straight out of a fairy tale. Indulge in a delectable lunch amidst their beautiful rear garden or savor a delightful dinner.
The heart of Kragerø town maintains the same aura it exuded in the 1800s, when grand sailboats dotted the seascape. The closely spaced wooden structures, narrow alleyways, and cozy streets adorned with unique boutiques and art galleries offer endless fascination, whether you're a local or a distant visitor.
Culinary enthusiasts can sample local delights such as meats from the neighborhood butcher, fresh catches from fish markets, artisanal bakeries, coffee shops roasting their own beans, and scrumptious homemade ice cream. Art aficionados will be delighted by the galleries, glass and jewelry artisans, and local shops proudly showcasing their 'Made in Kragerø' creations.
Strolling along the waterfront reveals a plethora of dining options lined up one after another. Additionally, the town's open spaces play host to regular events like the Farmer's Market. This charming coastal town, lauded by renowned artist Edvard Munch as a precious pearl among its peers, is perpetually abuzz with activities.
Embark on a journey to discover a secluded personal island along our shoreline, or explore the enchanting towns nestled within the idyllic archipelago. Each season along our coast holds its own unique charm, from summer's swimming and balmy evenings to autumn's orange-hued foliage and cozy cocoa moments. This time of year is also perfect for engaging in activities like lobster and salmon fishing.
Surrounded by thick forests and tall mountains, we provide a one-of-a-kind adventure through the amazing nature of Norway. Imagine yourself peacefully sailing through the beautiful canal, discovering the unique locks that you can only find here. Let yourself get lost in the experience.
What better way to uncover the beauty of this remarkable region than embarking on the water with one of our electric cabin cruisers? With our environmentally conscious vessels, you can glide along the charming Telemark Canal at your preferred pace, pausing to explore charming villages and hidden coves along your journey. Alternatively, you can venture out to sea and revel in the splendors of the Norwegian fjords. If you were born prior to 1980 and have two seasons of boating experience, you're exempt from needing a boat license.
This charter spans an entire week. Your week kicks off with a check-in at Porsgrunn Guest Harbor by 4:00 in the afternoon. However, note that arriving at 4:00 might not allow you to reach the locks on the first day. When your week concludes, check-out is at 8:00 in the morning. Additionally, for standard check-out, you must reach Porsgrunn Guest Harbor on the day preceding check-out day, and no later than 3:00 pm. The boat's exterior will be cleaned that afternoon.
OUR YACHT
The Greenline 33 is an electric-powered vessel, akin to a car but for the water. It's perfect for families or couples seeking a waterfront vacation. The interior boasts a well-designed layout, with ample light offering clear visibility.
Inside, there are sleeping accommodations for up to 7 individuals. A spacious room features a double bed that can be split into two singles, while a second room offers two large beds for children. The living area can accommodate up to 3 people (although it might be a bit cozy with a full group of 7).
The living area is surrounded by windows, providing panoramic views and abundant natural light. The roof incorporates specialized panels that harness sunlight to generate electricity. This power source allows you to use amenities such as the fridge, stove, and TV on the boat, akin to the comforts of home. You're not reliant on shore power connections, which proves advantageous when docked in ports.
