Electing Sicily as the backdrop for your sailing odyssey equates to an immersive plunge into a spellbinding culture, promising an unforgettable sojourn. Plunge into the depths of discovery with Spartivento Charter, and uncover the treasures of this Mediterranean gem!

Day 1: Cefalu Sojourn

Commencing from Portorosa or Capo D'Orlando, your voyage to Cefalù, an artful city within the Madonie Park and one of Italy's charming villages, unfolds tales of history. The name "Cefalù" hails from the Greek "Kefaloidion," inspired by the fortress shaping the cityscape.

Cefalù's architecture narrates centuries of civilizations, featuring Byzantine-era walls alongside a Roman-era urban layout. With splendid sandy beaches and clear waters, Cefalù stands as one of Sicily's most beautiful seaside retreats.

Day 2: Palermo Beckoning

The journey progresses toward Palermo, Sicily's splendid capital. En route, the enchanting Bay of Mazzaforno invites a pause at the captivating Spiaggia dei Sette Frati, where crystalline waters display a spectrum of hues, from emerald green to the deepest turquoise, creating a mesmerizing aquatic canvas. Moving on, Palermo unfolds as an open-air museum, boasting a fusion of architectural styles, from Arabian elegance to baroque grandeur. The city's serene chaos and vibrant markets add to its unique allure. A must-visit is the majestic Cathedral, a symbolic testament to Palermo's rich history, encapsulating the essence of this captivating Sicilian adventure.

Day 3: Castellammare Splendor

Embarking from Palermo, the journey unfolds towards Castellammare del Golfo, a coastal haven graced with a captivating view of the Gulf. Its charm lies in narrow cobblestone streets and vibrant buildings, creating a unique ambiance. Explore cultural gems like the Norman Arab Castle and the Mother Church. Castellammare serves as a perfect base for exploring Sicily's northwest coast, adorned with hidden coves and beaches accessible only by boat. Enjoy a day of seaside bliss at Guidaloca or Cala Bianca beach, both a short sail west from the town center. As the evening sets in, return to the port and savor the scents and flavors of the Trapani seaside village, indulging in the iconic Seasoned Bread, a culinary masterpiece that defines Castellammarese cuisine.

Day 4: Scopello & San Vito Symphony

As the morning sun graces the horizon, your journey unfolds towards the pristine shores of San Vito Lo Capo. En route, surrender to the allure of the majestic Faraglioni at the Tonnara di Scopello, where summer invites you to anchor in the harbor using buoys. Along the coast, indulge in invigorating swims in the myriad coves of the Zingaro Nature Reserve: Cala Capreria, Cala del Varo, Cala della Disa, Cala Marinella, and Cala dell'Uzzo, each a testament to nature's unparalleled beauty.

In San Vito, be embraced by crystal-clear waters and ivory sands, cocooned in unspoiled nature, offering a gastronomic odyssey with a plethora of delectable local dishes. For trekking enthusiasts, numerous paths beckon, leading to the summit of Monte Monaco, where the remnants of a marble quarry await, providing a panoramic vista as a fitting reward for the journey.

Day 5: Palermo

Heading back to Palermo from San Vito Lo Capo, take a refreshing pause with a quick dip in the Gulf of Mondello's crystalline waters, graced by Palermo's most exquisite beach. On your return to the capital, rediscover the unexplored wonders, from the lively districts of Ballarò to the bustling Kalsa market. Ascend to the Palazzo dei Normanni for the enchanting Palatine Chapel, and for a deeper dive into Palermo's vibrant culture, lose yourself in the chaotic authenticity of the historic Vucciria market.

Complete your Sicilian odyssey with a sensory feast, as Palermo unveils its vivid heritage in a captivating symphony, adding the final brushstrokes to this unforgettable journey.

Day 6: Cefalu Reverie

On the second-to-last day, return to Cefalù and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Grotta di Santa Lucia, a secluded sea enclave. Upon arriving at the port, meander along the seafront to Porta Marina, the lone surviving gate from bygone eras that afforded access to the city. Here, savor the sunset casting its warm hues over the sea and the charming fishing district famously featured in Tornatore's timeless 1988 film, "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso." For hiking enthusiasts, ascend a picturesque trail enveloped in greenery and embraced by medieval walls to reach the Rocca di Cefalù, a breathtaking 268-meter-high cliff adorned with local flora and fauna, offering a panoramic spectacle stretching from Palermo to Capo D'Orlando.

Day 7: Tindari Bay & Journey's End

On the final day, as you begin the return journey to either Capo D'Orlando or Portorosa, indulge in a revitalizing swim at the splendid Tindari Bay. Portorosa, Sicily's largest tourist port, charms with villas surrounded by lush greenery and navigable canals dotted with numerous moorings. Meanwhile, Capo D'Orlando, celebrated for its crystalline waters and gently sloping golden sandy beaches, invites exploration of its rich history, adorned with ancient Greek and Roman ruins, and a captivating historic center.
