Our charter bases span the entire Croatian Adriatic Coast, from Pomer-Pula in the north to Split and Trogir in the middle to Dubrovnik in the south. There are numerous islands, beaches, bays, and towns to discover in each of the sections. Definitely, the weather plays a major role in determining the sailing route, so you should pay attention to weather forecasts, modify your course accordingly, and decide whether to spend the night at anchor, a mooring buoy, or in a marina or harbor.
If you choose to sail with a skipper, our knowledgeable captains will give you all of your options, whether you're looking for secluded bays, deserted beaches, nightlife hotspots, or restaurants serving regional cuisine. Your role while sailing with the skipper is to unwind, and the skipper will take care to find the best spot for berthing. Here are some Croatian sailing routes that are suggested. PAYMENT:
After the yacht charter reservation has been confirmed, which is valid only if provided in writing, the payment is to be made as follows:
- 35% in the period of 7 days after the booking is confirmed
- 65% not later than 30 days before the commencement of the accommodation
- Taking the boat into possession is effective once the payment in full has been completed.
If you fail to make the 35% advance payment to the scheduled date after the receipt of dunning letter sent by us, the stated company shall be entitled to cancel the booking. Upon the payment of the 35% booking rate, the Client agrees to these General Terms and Conditions for Onboard Accommodation Service and vessel features. Everything published under these conditions is a legal obligation for both parties under this Agreement.
- Additional services (transfers from the airport, auxiliary engine, spinnaker, gennaker, one-way fee, etc.) will be charged according to the applicable price list and must be confirmed in writing no later than 7 days before embarkation.
- If the Client wishes to hire a skipper and/or a hostess, this must be specified when the booking is confirmed.
- Copies of the navigation license and VHF certificate must be submitted at the time of booking, and the crew list is due one week before the start of accommodation service. If the Client arrives by plane one week before the start of the accommodation service onboard, it will be helpful to send a notice with the arrival time and flight number.
- After the Crew list is confirmed in the marina base, a tourist tax of 1.4 EUR (10 HRK) per person/per day must be paid in cash.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event that the Client cancels the booked accommodation onboard for any reason, he/she must notify us in writing and will be charged for amendment as follows:
- If the cancellation is made more than 30 calendar days before the start date of the accommodation, you may be charged up to 35% of the full accommodation rate.
- If the cancellation is made less than 30 calendar days before the start date of the accommodation, you may be charged up to 100% of the full accommodation rate. (Standard charter conditions do not apply to vouchers issued for COVID-19 cancellations in 2020 and 2021.)
The date of receipt of the written cancellation notice shall serve as the basis for the settlement of the stated cancellation charges. If we are unable to issue the vessel for reasonable reasons (major damage to the ship during previous bookings), the client will be provided with:
- A prompt replacement vessel with identical or similar features and equipment,
- A full refund of the money the client paid us.
The client shall not be entitled to any cancellation of the accommodation service or to demand a reduction in the accommodation rate in the event of damage or loss of any parts of the vessel during the prior accommodation for which suitable repairment could not be done in a timely manner (i.e., long delivery of spare parts etc.) and which are not essential for the navigation safety.
Our company is not liable for damages resulting from reservation changes or cancellations caused by events such as war, riot, strikes, terrorist activity, exceptional sanitary conditions and precautions, natural disasters, local government interventions, and so on.
COVID-19 addendum to 2.1 (valid for new bookings beginning January 1, 2021 and continuing until further notice): In terms of travel restrictions, we provide the following options:
- In the event of a border closure, the received payment will be refunded in full.
- Voucher/rescheduling to a new charter period, vessel, or base in 2023 based on the current pricelist, in the event of a mandatory quarantine that cannot be avoided through PCR testing. The payment received will be considered a down payment for the new charter period.
DEPOSITE AND INSURANCE:
All of our vessels are insured up to the deposit amount specified in the current year's Price List. The insurance policy includes both mandatory passenger insurance and mandatory third-party insurance. Personal property of passengers is not insured, and any damage incurred due to gross negligence or with the clear intent of the Client will not be covered by insurance.
Safety Deposit: The Client is expected to leave the security deposit in cash or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard) before the vessel is delivered. Following the completion of client accommodation on board, the security deposit will be fully refunded, unless any damage to the vessel or damage or loss of any vessel equipment is discovered. Otherwise, the deposit must be kept in the amount equal to the cost of the repair or the purchase price of the damaged and/or lost equipment. If our company hires a skipper, the Client will also be required to pay a security deposit. In that case, the paid deposit cannot be used to cover any damage incurred as a result of the skipper's negligence and poor vessel and equipment navigation. A double deposit will be charged for regattas.
