7 Nights Weekly Skippered Charter – North Dodecanese Island Explorer from Bodrum

This 7 nights / 8 days weekly skippered yacht charter from Bodrum is designed for guests who want to enjoy an international sailing holiday combining the comfort of a fully crewed yacht with the charm of Greek island-hopping. Departing from Bodrum, one of Turkey’s most established yacht charter destinations, this route takes guests across the Aegean to the North Dodecanese Islands, covering Kos, Leros, Lipsi, Patmos, Kalymnos, and Pserimos before returning to Bodrum. It is an excellent itinerary for families, friends, and couples who want a relaxing but culturally rich voyage with manageable daily sailing distances, beautiful anchorages, historic towns, island villages, and plenty of time for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and exploring ashore.

The experience is fully organized as a weekly skippered charter, allowing guests to enjoy the journey without worrying about navigation, route planning, anchoring, docking, or daily onboard service. The professional crew manages the yacht, assists with meals and onboard comfort, and adapts the route where needed according to weather, port conditions, and guest preferences. With its mix of Turkish departure convenience and Greek island atmosphere, this charter offers a memorable blue cruise experience across two beautiful cruising regions.

About Our Service in Bodrum and the North Dodecanese Islands

Day 1: Guests board the yacht in Bodrum at 17:30, where the crew welcomes everyone onboard and provides an introduction to the yacht, safety procedures, cabin arrangements, and the planned route. This first evening is ideal for settling into the cabins, unpacking comfortably, and enjoying the marina atmosphere before the voyage begins. Bodrum’s harbor area is lively and scenic, with restaurants, cafes, shops, and views toward the historic castle, making it a pleasant place to begin the charter. Guests may choose to relax onboard, enjoy dinner in the outdoor dining area, or take a short walk around the marina before spending the first night in Bodrum harbor.

Day 2: After breakfast, the yacht departs Bodrum and sails approximately 2–3 hours toward Kos, one of the most popular islands in the Dodecanese. Kos offers a lively yet relaxed island atmosphere, combining beaches, ancient ruins, cycling routes, harbor cafés, and historic landmarks. Guests can spend time exploring the town, visiting archaeological remains, walking along the waterfront, or simply enjoying the island’s easygoing Greek character. There will also be time for swimming and relaxing onboard, depending on the day’s schedule and port arrangements. Kos is a wonderful first stop because it introduces guests to Greek island life without a long crossing, making the transition from Bodrum smooth and enjoyable.

Day 3: The yacht continues with a 2–3 hour sail toward Leros, a quieter and more traditional island known for its sheltered bays, neoclassical architecture, and authentic local atmosphere. Leros is ideal for guests who enjoy peaceful surroundings rather than heavily commercialized tourist areas. The day may include swimming in calm coves, relaxing on deck, visiting the harbor town, or enjoying a waterfront meal in a traditional taverna. The island’s scenery includes rolling hills, small villages, and beautiful bays, giving guests a more intimate view of the Dodecanese. Overnight stay near Leros provides a peaceful setting after a rewarding day of sailing and exploration.

Day 4: A short cruise of approximately 1–2 hours brings the yacht to Lipsi, a small and tranquil island known for turquoise waters, simple island charm, and uncrowded beaches. Lipsi is especially appealing for guests who want to slow down and enjoy the quieter side of Greek island life. The day can be spent swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, or visiting secluded beaches and village lanes. The waters around Lipsi are beautifully clear, making it a rewarding stop for guests who enjoy swimming directly from the yacht. The island’s calm rhythm creates a restful mid-charter atmosphere, allowing everyone to fully relax before continuing toward more cultural destinations.

Day 5: The yacht sails approximately 2–3 hours to Patmos, one of the most culturally significant islands in the region. Known for its spiritual heritage and beautiful hilltop town, Patmos offers a strong combination of history, architecture, and natural beauty. Guests may visit the Monastery of Saint John, explore the charming lanes of Chora, enjoy panoramic views, or relax in the harbor area. Patmos is also known for its elegant island character, making it a memorable stop for travelers who appreciate culture as much as scenery. After exploring ashore, guests return to the yacht for a relaxed evening onboard or an optional dinner on the island.

Day 6: The route continues toward Kalymnos after a 2–3 hour sail. Kalymnos is known for its sponge-diving heritage, rugged landscapes, dramatic cliffs, and adventurous spirit. Guests can explore the town, learn about the island’s maritime traditions, visit local shops, or relax at one of the island’s scenic beaches. For more active travelers, Kalymnos is also famous for rock climbing, although participation depends on guest interest and arrangements. The island offers a different character from the previous stops, with a stronger maritime identity and a bold natural landscape. The day balances activity, culture, and relaxation before another comfortable night onboard.

Day 7: A short 1–2 hour cruise brings the yacht to Pserimos, a peaceful island known for sandy beaches, calm waters, and a quiet final-day atmosphere. Pserimos is an excellent last island stop because it allows guests to enjoy unhurried swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation before returning toward Turkey. The beach setting is simple and inviting, with clear shallow waters ideal for a refreshing swim. Guests can enjoy a final leisurely afternoon on deck, make use of onboard water toys where suitable, and take in the calm island scenery. Later, the yacht begins the return toward Bodrum, either in the evening or overnight depending on conditions and schedule.

Day 8: After arriving back in Bodrum, guests enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarkation at 08:30. The journey concludes with the comfort of returning to the original embarkation point after a rich and varied sailing route across the North Dodecanese. By the end of the charter, guests will have experienced a rewarding blend of Turkish coastal departure, Greek island culture, historical landmarks, peaceful beaches, and relaxed days at sea.
