This 15-day Southern High Arctic and Trans-Atlantic Polar Circuit from Tromsø, Norway is a private luxury expedition charter created for guests who want a major polar voyage linking Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, Norwegian fjords, and the Arctic Ocean. The route combines long-range trans-Arctic crossings, glacier-dominated coastlines, ice navigation, volcanic maritime scenery, and the deep silence of remote northern waters. Starting from Tromsø gives the journey a strong expedition identity, with professional marina support, cold-water readiness, and direct access to authentic Arctic cruising grounds.

About Our Service in Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Arctic Waters

This fully crewed charter is built around expedition flexibility, technical competence, and refined guest comfort. The 28-member crew handles navigation, weather routing, ice monitoring, onboard hospitality, guest service, safety management, and daily operational coordination. Guests benefit from a customized onboard environment where dining preferences, comfort requirements, observation routines, leisure time, and exploration priorities can be adjusted according to personal expectations and live polar conditions.

Day 1: Depart Tromsø and cruise through Arctic fjord systems into open northern waters. The crew completes navigation setup, ice readiness briefings, safety coordination, and vessel checks while guests enjoy calm coastal cruising, panoramic lounges, and early wildlife sightings across remote polar landscapes. The day introduces the atmosphere of Arctic travel with comfort and control.

Day 2: Continue along Norway’s far northern coastline toward Barents Sea transit corridors. Steady offshore navigation, environmental monitoring, radar tracking, fuel optimization, and propulsion checks define the operational focus. Guests enjoy observation decks, indoor comfort areas, quiet coastal scenery, and overnight positioning near isolated Arctic islands.

Day 3: Proceed into high Arctic waters toward Svalbard approach routes under strict ice navigation protocols. Weather tracking, stabilizer control, and route adjustments are handled continuously by the crew. Guests enjoy uninterrupted ocean views, onboard leisure spaces, dining service, and controlled observation of drifting ice fields and Arctic marine activity.

Day 4: Cruise within the Svalbard region through glacier fjords and ice-filled channels using reduced-speed operations and expert polar guidance. Ice chart monitoring, propulsion diagnostics, and safety assessments continue throughout the day while guests enjoy photography sessions, heated lounges, protected viewing decks, and the dramatic beauty of frozen seascapes.

Day 5: Depart Svalbard and begin the westbound trans-Arctic Ocean crossing toward Greenland. The yacht moves into a serious long-range passage where ice drift, satellite weather systems, fuel planning, and vessel performance are closely monitored. Guests spend the day enjoying indoor relaxation, dining service, panoramic viewing, and the rare feeling of traveling through immense polar isolation.

Day 6: Continue across the open Arctic Ocean under controlled navigation conditions with constant ice avoidance routing and steady cruising speed. The crew manages stabilizers, propulsion systems, radar awareness, and safety monitoring while guests experience quiet onboard leisure, observation time, and the vast uninterrupted horizon of the polar sea.

Day 7: Approach Greenland’s eastern coastline with reduced speed and continuous radar monitoring through iceberg-rich waters. The scenery becomes increasingly dramatic, with glacier fronts, iceberg formations, and remote coastal wilderness surrounding the vessel. Guests observe safely from heated interior areas and exterior viewing decks while the crew coordinates navigation updates, weather analysis, and fuel adjustments.

Day 8: Cruise along Greenland fjord systems through narrow icy channels and deep coastal inlets. The crew performs propulsion checks, ice surveillance, and route recalibration while guests enjoy photography, relaxation, and immersive Arctic wilderness views from sheltered observation spaces. This stage offers some of the most powerful glacial scenery of the entire route.

Day 9: Continue deeper into Greenland’s coastal waters, using calm but icy conditions for controlled expedition cruising. Guests enjoy leisure facilities, panoramic ice views, dining service, and uninterrupted observation of remote Arctic landscapes while the crew manages system diagnostics, weather tracking, fuel optimization, and route safety.

Day 10: Depart Greenland and begin the eastbound crossing toward Iceland across Arctic North Atlantic waters. Radar tracking, stabilizer management, route planning, and fuel efficiency calculations guide the passage. Guests enjoy indoor comfort, ocean views, lounge time, and a smooth onboard rhythm as the expedition moves from glacial wilderness toward Iceland’s volcanic coastline.

Day 11: Arrive in Icelandic waters and cruise along volcanic coastlines and fjord systems. The shift in scenery is striking, moving from ice-dominated Greenlandic waters to geothermal-influenced landscapes and rugged coastal formations. The crew manages propulsion monitoring, navigation recalibration, and safety checks while guests enjoy onboard leisure amenities and scenic coastal transitions.

Day 12: Continue along Iceland’s sheltered fjord regions with slow cruising and environmental monitoring under calm sea conditions. Guests can enjoy photography, relaxed dining, panoramic views, and comfortable onboard spaces while the crew performs system inspections, weather updates, route optimization, and operational checks for the next ocean leg.

Day 13: Depart Iceland and begin the return passage toward Norwegian Arctic waters. The crew monitors ice conditions, propulsion systems, weather forecasts, radar information, and fuel management while guests enjoy dining, leisure facilities, wellness areas, and extended open-ocean views during the final offshore crossing of the voyage.

Day 14: Re-enter Norwegian fjord systems and cruise south toward Tromsø through sheltered Arctic waterways. The return through Norway’s northern coast offers a scenic final phase, with wildlife sightings where possible, fjord passages, and a relaxed onboard atmosphere. The crew completes navigation calibration, port approach coordination, and final system checks.

Day 15: Arrive in Tromsø, completing the Southern High Arctic and Trans-Atlantic Polar Circuit. Controlled docking, operational closure, vessel servicing, and guest disembarkation are handled professionally by the crew. Guests enjoy final panoramic fjord views and a smooth conclusion to an extended voyage across some of the most remote Arctic and North Atlantic waters.
