" Nilaveli" Tourist's attraction in Trincomalee
A few things are abundant in Sri Lanka, including luxuriant vegetation, wildlife, and beaches. Nilaveli Beach is one of Sri Lanka's beaches, and if you're a beach bum, you'll want to visit them all. Trincomalee City's magnificent beach is known for its sandy shores and crystal-clear waters. There are many activities here that you can partake in in addition to lying around to have a fun-filled excursion by the beach. In Tamil, the word "Nilaveli" means "Moon shine over the land or open space." Additionally, if you want a relaxing family vacation in Sri Lanka, this is a great place to stay. Only a few kilometers separate Trincomalee's city center from Nilaveli Beach. For those seeking a tranquil beachside vacation in Sri Lanka, this small town is ideal.
The beach resort and coastal community close to the beach's shores are also well-known features of Nilaveli Beach. Uppuveli, a popular tourist destination close by, is located nearby. This still enjoyed the same level of popularity among Sri Lankans. Pigeon Island National Park is one of the places close to Nilaveli Beach that you should visit during your trip because it is only 1 km away from the Nilaveli beach area. The sight is even more beautiful because there are so many coral reefs.
DESTINATIONS OF TRINCOMALEE
• Pigeon Island
Travelers are most familiar with Pigeon Island. The two marine national parks in Sri Lanka are well-known, with Pigeon Island National Park consistently drawing the biggest crowds. The early 1960s saw the Pigeon Island National park classified as a sanctuary, but in 2003 it was upgraded to a national park, making it Sri Lanka's 17th national park. The park is spread out over an area of more than 470 hectares. The rock pigeons/doves that live within the national park are the reason for the park's name. Just one kilometer offshore from the coastal town of Nilaveli in Eastern Province is the renowned Pigeon Island National Park. Both the summer and the winter months are suitable for visiting Sri Lanka's Pigeon Island National Park.
The large Pigeon Island and the small Pigeon Island make up the Pigeon Island National Park. The beach is always the best feature of an island, and Pigeon Island National Park is no exception. The coral reef, which is 200 meters long and 100 meters wide, provides the plot's twist. As a result, the beach is close to a lot of marine life. The tiny pigeon island is surrounded by a rocky islet, which is home to a variety of coral. Over 300 species of coral reef fish breed and feed on the rocky outcrops and islets, preserving the vibrant underwater symphony. Just relax like you would on any other beach, but make sure to always wear your slippers. Coral cuts are actually commonplace here.
• Scuba Diving & Snorkeling in Coral Garden
This beach has a wide range of activities. Furthermore, everything is reasonably priced and exciting. Scuba diving is an intriguing sport in which you must dive deep into the ocean to see the underwater world. Explore shallow coral reefs with colorful reef fish around Nilaveli or drift dive along the rock cliffs around Swami Rock in Trincomalee (located 265 kilometers from Colombo). With plenty to see in shallow depths, gentle currents, and dive sites close to shore, the east coast is ideal for first-time divers or experienced divers looking for some relaxed diving mixed in with lazy afternoons by the beach. The east is also great for macro photography, with interesting macro subjects like nudibranchs, octopus, harlequin shrimps, pipefish, seahorses, frogfish, scorpionfish, and flying gurnards.
• Whale watching and Dolphin watching
You will have the opportunity to go whale and dolphin watching. Even though Trincomalee is best known for its incredible surf, it's also one of the best places to see these whales! Trincomalee, which is about two hours from Pasikudah, has a number of whale-watching locations, but the Nilaveli and Uppuveli beaches are the busiest. Even bottlenose dolphin groups can be seen here, behaving naughtily in the water as usual. The occasional orca may also appear (though this is rare) There are blue whale sightings in this area. The largest mammal in the world is more than willing to be flashy in Trincomalee. The sperm whale, another friendly behemoth that frequents Trinco's waters, dives to the ocean floor to feed and only occasionally surface-breathes and waves to its companions.
The best month to see blue whales in this area is July, while the East Coast's whale watching season runs from May to October every year. You might even be able to swim alongside the whales if you have the necessary experience and are able to hire a guide for your underwater adventure.
• Deep sea fishing excursion
You have the opportunity to try deep-sea fishing on this tour in Sri Lanka's eastern waters, off the sea life-rich Trincomalee coast. Try to lure some of the biggest fish you have ever seen with your rods as you cast them into the deep blue waters. Challenge the most powerful of the seas to experience that rush of adrenaline. Take a fantastic photo to showcase your best catch. Get the most out of your fishing this holiday.
Our Boat
Our boat is 1.8 meters wide and 5.6 meters long. It is possible to carry seven people at once. Easy to use. The beauty of the sea can easily be appreciated depending on the type of production. This boat's hull is constructed of fiberglass. One of the most prevalent and well-known technologies in the world is fiberglass technology. Lightweight Design, that is. A fiberglass boat is typically lighter than wooden boats and other materials. Additionally, because fiberglass boats tend to weigh more than aluminum boats, they are typically more stable and have better seakeeping qualities. Due to their heavier weight, fiberglass boats are less susceptible to wind buffeting, which causes them to drift more slowly and steadily. A fiberglass boat offers a steady and quiet working on the water, even when you cut through choppy waves and severe weather. Unlike an aluminum or wooden boat, it doesn't make a loud "lapping" sound when water hits the bottom or sides of your boat. As a result, you can engage in your preferred activity on the water with friends and family without yelling at someone on the opposite side of the boat. Therefore, there is no reason to worry about security.
