7 Days Cruising Experience Alor-Indonesia

Take a week-long dive safari in the breathtaking Alor region, one of the most alluring and isolated marine places in Indonesia. Alor, which is well-known for its rich marine life, provides incomparable underwater experiences with robust coral reefs, a profusion of reef fish, and amazing pelagic creatures like sharks and manta rays. You will dive some of the most amazing sites in the area on this seven-day excursion, including brilliant coral gardens, secluded lagoons, and black-sand muck diving areas filled with macro life.

Get off to a great start to your journey in Alor, where you'll be met with refreshments and given a briefing. Experience about 20 exhilarating dives during the week, interspersed with ample downtime to unwind. In addition to diving, take in the gorgeous views of the region's rugged coastline and explore Alor's amazing scenery by kayak or stand-up paddleboarding.

Your liveaboard features opulent, cozy quarters that are thoughtfully built to combine beauty and practicality. Relax on the sundeck or unwind in the spacious saloon, fitted with a high-end music system for your leisure. You can edit and capture your underwater memories in a dedicated camera room. Savor gourmet meals with fusions of Western and Asian cuisine during your stay. à la carte lunch and dinner options are available in addition to the buffet breakfast. All day long, there is free food and drinks.

This charter includes full board accommodations, transfers, up to three to four dives per day with complimentary Nitrox, Wi-Fi, and the use of kayaks and SUP boards. Please note, National Marine Park taxes, diving gear rental, souvenirs, and crew gratuities are not included in the package.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival & Embarkation in Alor
Embarkation: Welcome aboard in Alor, Kecil (pickup from airport or hotel).
Afternoon: After refreshments and a briefing, set sail.
Evening: Enjoy a night dive at a local spot to introduce you to the rich marine life of the region.

Day 2: Kel's Dream & The Bullet
Morning: Dive at Kel's Dream, a signature site in Alor known for its dramatic submerged pinnacle and large pelagic life, including massive tuna, napoleons, and schools of fish that block out the sun.
Mid-Morning: Dive at The Bullet, a channel between the pinnacle and Alor Island, where swift currents bring hammerhead sharks, black tips, and turtles.
Afternoon: Enjoy a third dive focused on macro photography at a lesser-known site.
Evening: Optional sunset beach session or another exciting night dive.

Day 3: The Cathedral Dive Site
Morning: Head south to The Cathedral, known for its unique swim-through at 35 meters, where sunlight streams through like a cathedral's stained-glass window. Expect sightings of Mola Mola (sunfish) and rich coral life.
Mid-Morning: A second dive in a nearby coral garden featuring a wealth of colorful hard and soft corals.
Afternoon: Relax onboard or paddle to secluded beaches.
Evening: Enjoy a stunning sunset and unwind with drinks on the sundeck.

Day 4: Kalabahi Bay Macro Diving
Morning: Explore the black-sand diving in Kalabahi Bay, famous for Lembeh-style muck diving with sightings of critters like nudibranchs, seahorses, and the Harlequin Shrimp.
Mid-Morning: Another dive in the bay to capture more unique macro life.
Afternoon: Free time for snorkeling, paddleboarding, or kayaking around this sheltered bay.
Evening: Relax with a movie in the saloon or chat with fellow divers.

Day 5: Pink Forest & Coral Gardens
Morning: Dive at Pink Forest, a stunning site named for its pink soft corals. This gentle slope is rich in marine biodiversity, including rare nudibranchs, crabs, and more.
Mid-Morning: A second dive in a nearby coral garden filled with vibrant fish life and breathtaking underwater views.
Afternoon: Relax with water sports or take in the peaceful beauty of a secluded bay.
Evening: Optional night dive to explore more macro life or enjoy a sunset paddleboarding session.

Day 6: Exploration Dives
Morning: Head out to a lesser-known site for an exploration dive. The waters around Alor are still full of untapped potential, and you might discover new pelagic species or fascinating macro life.
Mid-Morning: A second dive at another unexplored site, adding an element of adventure to your trip.
Afternoon: Free time for snorkeling, lounging on the sundeck, or kayaking along the coastline.
Evening: Wrap up the day by reviewing photos from the week and relaxing with a sunset hike.

Day 7: Final Dive & Disembarkation
Morning: Complete your adventure with a final dive at Kel's Dream or The Bullet, revisiting the stunning underwater landscapes and marine life of Alor.
Mid-Morning: Return to Alor for disembarkation after a hearty breakfast, with transfers available to the airport or hotel.
