Due to a variety of factors, including the proximity of the islands, which makes it safer to sail there, the generally calmer winds compared to other locations, and the abundance of historic ruins along the coastline and on the islands, Croatia is one of the best sailing destinations in the world. In essence, you have a thousand miles of coastline and more than a thousand islands to discover!

With bases in Medulin, Pula, and Dubrovnik, we are able to reach every part of the world's most picturesque sailing region. To ensure that our customers are satisfied at all times, we consistently provide high standards for quality, maintenance, and yacht preparation. In addition to yacht charter, we can provide full yacht management, including buying the yacht, using it for its intended purpose, and, of course, letting you use it. MEDULIN

Our own Marina Puntica can be found on the southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula, at the very end of the new highway. You'll feel like you're on vacation as soon as you arrive. It is the best place to start your exploration of the Loinj, Cres, Krk, Rab, Unije, Susak, Ilovik, and other northern Adriatic islands, as well as the charming old Istrian towns like Rovinj, Vrsar, Pore, Novigrad, Umag, or Opatija.

The Brijuni National Park is a must-see while you're sailing in the northern Adriatic. Discover the rich cultural history of the peaceful and tranquil island of Veli Brijun, which spans from the Roman Empire to the time of Josip Broz Tito. If you're still looking for more, you can set sail from Medulin to the enchanting Venice, one of the world's most singular locations, which is spread across 117 islands and has countless channels and bridges.

PULA

From the town, a sizable Bay of Veruda extends southward, and this Bay has long been a prime fishing port. The Bay, which is surrounded by lush and unspoiled Mediterranean vegetation, served as the perfect location for the new Marina, which serves as the entrance to the entire Adriatic, as tourism demands increased. Marina Veruda provides a secure haven from all winds due to its location. Marina leads an active lifestyle all year long, not just during the summer.

The northern Adriatic islands of Loinj, Cres, Krk, Rab, Unije, Susak, Ilovik,... and the charming old towns along the Istrian coast, such as Rovinj, Vrsar, Pore, Novigrad, Umag, or Opatija, are an excellent starting point. The Brijuni National Park is a must-see while sailing the north Adriatic. DUBROVNIK

What can I say about Dubrovnik that hasn't already been said? Dubrovnik is one of the most unique cities in the world, and you should visit it at least once in your lifetime. The old town of Dubrovnik is easily accessible by bus from the Marina. You can sail from Dubrovnik to the southern Adriatic islands of Elafiti (a group of islands just in front of Dubrovnik), Mljet, Lastovo, Korula, Hvar, or even Vis. Bike around the lakes of Mljet National Park and take in the natural beauty. Explore the Lastovo archipelago, which consists of 46 islands and cliffs, as well as the bays Veli Lago and Mali Lago on the northern part of the island, and learn why it is considered the most beautiful Croatian Nature Park. Visit the island of Korula, where Marco Polo and Vela Luka were born. Explore Boka Kotorska, Herceg Novi, Budva, and Tivat by sailing from Dubrovnik to Montenegro.

CHARTER CANCELLATION:

If the charterer wishes to cancel the contract more than one month before the start of the charter period, the cancellation fee is 50% of the charter price. If the charterer cancels the contract less than one month before the start of the charter period, the cancellation fee is 100% of the charter price, unless a substitute charter can be found. If the contract is terminated, this fee must be paid no later than 15 days before the beginning of the carter period. All payments are free of extra fees. The charter company's other liabilities are then cancelled.

DEPOSIT:

The deposit must be paid in cash or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) at the base. The deposit will be returned to the charterer without deductions at the end of the charter period if there is no damage to the vessel or its equipment and all items are listed on the check-list.

METHOD OF PAYMENT:

The first installment of 50% of the charter price must be paid on the company's account within 8 days of signing the contract with the charter company. The balance is due at least 30 days before departure.

SAILING CONDITIONS: 

  • By signing the charter contract, the charterer confirms that he or she has all of the necessary seamanship and navigation knowledge to sail a yacht on the open sea. Otherwise, he must appoint a captain for the vessel, \who should sign the charter contract too.
  • By signing the charter contract, the charterer certifies that he has a sailing certificate and the necessary level of seamanship skills.
  • False declarations will be held accountable by the charterer. The charterer and the captain of the vessel, if they are not the same person, are completely bound by the terms of this contract.

HAND-OVER OF THE YACHT:

The yacht must be delivered with a full tank of fuel and the condition of the vessel, equipment and full inventory must be verified by the charterer. If the charter company is unable to correct any defect or damage, the charterer has the option to cancel the contract or request a reduction in the charter price.

RETURNING THE YACHT:

After the charter voyage, the charterer must return the vessel with a full tank of fuel and all equipment in working order, as specified in the check-list.

LATE RETURN:

The charterer is liable to return the yacht\punctually, at the agreed time. This liability must be met\independently on weather conditions. The voyage schedule must be planned so that the yacht arrives at its home port on time, even in bad weather. However, if the\yacht is not handed over at the agreed time, the charter\company must be informed and the charterer must await\further instructions. Any additional costs (vessel return fees, new charterer travel costs, etc.) must be borne by the charterer. For each full day overdue, the charter company can\claim double the price for one day. The charterer will be held accountable for the delay. The charterer must pay 2% of the corresponding weekly charter rate for each full hour over the charter period dead-line (up to 12 hours).

LIABILITIES OF THE CHARTERER: 

  • The charterer is responsible for maintaining the yacht and its fittings, as well as adhering to maritime regulations with good seamanship.
  • The charterer must never use the vessel for commercial passenger transportation.
  • The charterer must never compete in any sporting events unless specifically authorized to do so.
  • The charterer must never Hire out the yacht.
  • The charterer must never Tow another craft except in emergency.
  • The charterer must never sail at night unless there is good visibility and always in good weather.
  • During the voyage, the charterer must inspect the yacht as needed (engine oil, cooling water, etc.)
  • The charterer is responsible for keeping the yacht logbook up to date.
  • The charterer must sail strictly within the host country's territorial boundaries, excluding restricted areas.
  • The charterer must always stay within sea-lanes.
  • The charterer is liable to register all incidents in it, including\any damage that occurs to the yacht and its equipment. After\any accident make a precise detailed report as proof for the\harbor master, doctor or experienced authority. Moreover, the charter company should immediately be informed in detail about any incident. The same is true for maneuverability, losses, or seizure or obstruction by authorities.
  • If costs are incurred because of lack of respect for regulations, \they will be borne by the charterer.
  • The charter base must be informed should the yacht run\aground in order to inspect any damage. In case of damage or\injury, repair costs and medical expenses will be charged from\the deposit.
  • The cost of intentional damage to the engine and rigging, loss of equipment, and so on as a result of late return or replacement is also deducted from the deposit. For any loss or damage for which an exact cost cannot be agreed upon, the charter company will retain an estimate of the costs for 30 days before settling the balance.
