Three days unfold before you, promising a captivating exploration of the Slovenian coast and a sail to the magnificent Miramare Castle. The journey begins with boarding in Isola at 2 p.m., marking the initiation of an unforgettable maritime escapade. Welcome on board! As you select your cabins and stow away your luggage, a brief but warm briefing ensues. Here, we'll acquaint ourselves, discuss the weekend ahead, and consider the weather forecast. Departing from Marina Vecchia di Isola, our course leads us to Bele Skale, a sprawling bay distinguished by a lofty white cliff. Here, the turquoise waters embrace a beach of white pebbles, adorned by lush Mediterranean vegetation.

In the late afternoon, our sails carry us to the Bay of San Bernardino, offering a mesmerizing view of the Savudria promontory the gateway to the Croatian coast. A dinghy ride ashore opens the door to explore Piran and/or Portorož. Piran, ensconced on a long peninsula, exudes elegance with a Venetian ambiance. A pearl of the Slovenian coast, Piran beckons with breathtaking vistas, meandering streets, and the imposing Cathedral of St. George. Meanwhile, Portoroz, a lively Slovenian resort, invites with seaside strolls, the only sandy coast in the region, and vibrant nightlife. Both towns boast a delectable food and wine panorama, catering to a variety of tastes.

The following morning, fueled by a hearty breakfast, our sails set a course for Trieste. Navigating the Gulf, we are treated to a unique perspective of the Miramare Castle a stately residence perched on the promontory. Built in white Istrian stone, the castle commands a panoramic view of the Gulf of Trieste. A museum today, it preserves the furnishings of yesteryear, offering a captivating journey through time. Following the visit, we resume our journey along the Gulf Coast, culminating in a dive, relaxation, an aperitif, and a dinner beneath the stars on our vessel.

The third day brings us to Strunjan National Park, where the Mediterranean flora and fauna flourish year-round. The bay presents a picturesque spectacle, with dark green wild vegetation juxtaposed against the blue water, while the Venetian bell tower of San Giorgio graces the skyline. A delectable lunch awaits in this enchanting bay, providing a respite from the crowds and a chance to be lulled by the sea.

Landing at 4 p.m. in Isola marks the conclusion of this maritime sojourn—a three-day odyssey that unveils the beauty of the Slovenian coast, a serene way to explore this coastal gem. The arrival in Miramare from the sea is an experience to behold, and the visit to the castle will undoubtedly leave you spellbound.
