Yacht Skipper and Yacht Captain practices

Sign up for this course and participate in the practices with us if you want to learn how to steer a boat 150 miles from the shore and 24 meters long. You will also learn a lot more about navigational skills.

Program

Practice lasts for 48 hours. The exercises will always be adjusted for the weather, with the option to change the planned course if the sea and wind conditions call for it. In this situation, the teacher will choose the best course of action.

Route 1: La Manga del Mar Menor, Cabo de Palos, Torrevieja, Tabarca and Benirdorm, Altea and return to the base port. Route 2: La Manga del Mar Menor, Cabo de Palos, Cartagena, La Azohía, Cabo Cope, Carboneras and return to the base port.

Living aboard in this exercise, we must be ready for a 48-hour stay on board during which we will perform various activities and, of course, rest. The first day's departure time is scheduled for around 6:00 p.m. at Puerto Deportivo Tomás Maestre, and the final day's arrival time is scheduled for the same time.

The pupils will sleep in one of the boat's three double cabins. You must bring your own sleeping bag. Six persons plus the instructor are the maximum that can participate in this program. For the maintenance of the two days, a fund will be established.
